The hotel owners and staff are very welcoming and could not be more helpful. Room was big, comfortable, warm and clean. Food from the restaurant superb and reasonably price (try the Calvados Coffee) The location is amazing, great views and quiet.
Size of rooms
The wonderful view from large windows that made up the whole wall. So quiet and peaceful, an old church, a few cows...pastoral. And the staff was very attentive and sweet.
Lovely, friendly people
Stairs were a bit of a struggle

Given the room we requested - our fourth visit. Very obliging staff. Good food. Fantastic views.
beautiful setting in quiet country side
Very pleasant and helpful staff. For the price you couldn't get much better, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was good. Finally the food in the restaurant was lovely and reasonably priced. will definitely use this hotel again .
No negatives for me
View from our balcony
Beautifully light, airy room with all the extras one would expect in a much more expensive hotel. Lift took us all the way to the carpark so no problems with luggage. Great views from the large balcony. Good dinner & excellent breakfast.
Room was excellent, spacious clean and well equipped. Food in restaraunt was of a high standard and served promptly.
Quriky access to rooms in an external elevator system.
The view was spectacular. The location was calm and tranquil. Just a short drive from Ypres and the various battlefield sites in Flanders.
Good venue, spacious comfortable room, friendly atmosphere in family owned hotel.
Not really a criticism, but it would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
Top value private family run hotel. The welcome, food and relaxed atmosphere are always superb. Our 6th year. Nothing is any problem. Ideal location for anyone undertaking the WW1 tour. The best in Belgium.
View from front verandah
Spacious room, nice design Quiet area
Breakfast was sober
I've not stayed in many hotels in France and Belgium but this was the best by far. We were given a large family room with four beds, en suite, dining table and a kitchenette. It was very clean and tidy. The room was at the back of the hotel and so was very quiet.
There were no cups!
Our 6th stay so it must be OK.
