Hotel Belvedere    

Dinner was very tasty. Room was spacious and clean with a modern TV.

Shower was in bath tub

Everything. The room was spacious, well-appointed and impeccably clean. The service was efficient and friendly. The hotel is located in a small village, not far from Ypres, and we had a beautiful view from our window. All in all, the value for money is very high. (Ypres is a fine town, with elegant architecture, and the Flanders Field museum is definitely worth a visit: it brings home the devastation of war, and that war in particular, in a very moving and informative way.) Nous avons tout aimé à propos de cet hôtel. Notre chambre était spacieuse et impeccablement propre. Le service est efficace et convivial. L'hôtel est situé dans une petite bourgade, non loin d'Ypres, et la vue de notre fenêtre était belle. Bref, rapport qualité/prix très élevé. (Ypres est une ville à l'architecture élégante et le musée "In Flanders Field" mérite d'être vu pour la qualité d'émotion et la richesse et diversité des objets, images et aux autres médias utilisés pour rendre compte de ce qu'a représenté la dévastation de la première guerre mondiale, notamment en Flandre.)

We only spent one night at the Belvedere but we were very impressed with this hotel, the rooms are large, the bathrooms are large and over all this was the best of all the hotels we stayed in on our two week vacation, the breakfast was excellent, the staff was very welcoming and kind. Whenever we are in the area of Europe again, we will be staying at the Belvedere.

Went back for a second year with older children and was still the same excellent service and food as the previous year. Very friendly and helpful and remembered us from the previous year. Cant thank the family enough for making our holiday very special.

Would be good if there were soft setas or a lounge area to sit for a drink, but not essential.

We like the ease of access and car park in the rear as we were on motor bikes. The food served up was excellent and reasonably priced.

The very steep stairs from the bar / lounge area which could be difficult carrying luggage or after having afew drinks in the bar. As motorcyclist its always a pain having to carry all your kit and gear to the top floors, I think this should be part of the questions on Booking.Com so that rooms can be offered on the ground or lower floors.

Large open plan family room with two balconies and plenty of daylight.

Restaurant closes at 8.30pm so it is not possible to visit the Menin Gate service at 8pm and return to hotel for meal, although Ypres itself does have plenty of restaurants.

Very good location for overnight stay before catching morning ferry Very historic 1st world war battle site. The hotel overlooks it & the views are exceptional.

Rooms are a little basic but perfectly reasonable

Our room was enormous, very comfortable, spotlessly clean and with a superb view. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The outside glass lift is a surprising plus! They did helpfully manage to provide a vegetarian meal though this was rather bland and uninteresting, as seems to be characteristic of France and Belgium. The hotel is not in Westouter itself and no-one we asked in the village was able to direct us to the hotel or the road - check the travel directions before you travel! However when you find it, the situation is stunning.

A very pleasant surprise, lovely room with great views, with a spacious balcony. Room 7 was disability friendly with hand rails near toilet and the shower had a shower seat. Breakfast was very good.

Tout était parfait, rien à redire .. Hôtel familial avec tout le charme que cela réserve qui n'a rien à voir avec les chaines hôtelières qui sont trop lisses

Rien, en cherchant bien, peut-être le bruit que certains clients ont fait à une heure tardive, mais ce n'est pas la faute des hôteliers

Lekkere zeetong gegeten, vergezeld van een lekker lokaal biertje: Queue de Charrue! Zalig geslapen en ontwaakt met een mooit uitzicht op de kerk van Loker en omgeving! Fantastico!

De kamer had een prachtig uitzicht en was recentelijk vernieuwd.

Le prix de la chambre avec le petit déjeuner compris excellent, n'a rien à envier à des hotels demandant 3 x le prix.Une très grande chambre de qualité exceptionnelle, tout y est pensé. La salle de bain spacieuse, propreté impeccable, grande douche, confort total. Coin salon et très grande terrasse à profiter en été, c'est sur on revient. On s'y sent très bien. L'ascenseur s'ouvrant des deux côtés génial. Les lampes qui 'allument au toucher. Le très grand lit. La vue du balcon sur la campagne.Que du positif. Bien situé, rapport qualité prix excellent. Encore jamais vu à ce prix là.

Rien à redire, franchement excellent.

mooie nette kamer met alle comfort.rustige ligging en een zeer goed en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet .Ideale uitvalsbasis om te wandelen en te fietsen. Wij gaan er zeker nog terug.

Personnel de l'hôtel très serviable et très poli. Chambre n°7 spacieuse et confortable. Terrasse avec vue imprenable sur le Mont Rouge et le nord de la France. Petit déjeuner copieux. Restaurant de l'hôtel OK. Ascenseur prévu pour les personnes à mobilité réduite (possibilité d'accéder directement à sa chambre depuis le parking). Très bon rapport qualité/prix pour un *** de qualité!

Tout fut parfait. Seul bémol, notre sommeil fut dérangé par des clients bruyants débarquant au milieu de la nuit, mais ceci peut arriver dans n'importe quel hôtel. Ce manque de savoir vivre ne va certainement pas influencer notre choix d'y retourner une seconde fois.
