Belvedere

Although this isn't a luxury hotel, everything was there that we expected to be there, it was clean, comfortable and cosy (great value for the price), the staff were wonderful, very freindly and went out of their way to help you. While not in the centre of town it was easily accessible by metro about 10 or 15 mins. It was lovely waking up to the view of the basillica every morning (which was literally across the road from the hotel).

Perhaps a kettle in the room, a couple of cups would have made the stay even better. As the hotel faces a busy street it does get noise during the night but it didn't bother us, even though we were on the first floor.

We had a really nice view from out hotel room. It wasn't in a very busy area so it was relaxing. The family at the hotel were very helpful and easy to understand.

It was a walk to get into the city centre. We did make it in after about half an hour of walking but it took some time.

The friendliness of the staff.

Very friendly and helpfull staff, clean room everyday, and quite close to the metro station, very nice area...

Lovely staff were very cheerful and helpful. The area is also quiet, which may appeal to people wishing to avoid the bustle of the city

Frankly the hotel is quite basic. I would have appreciated an ensuite bathroom and a kettle, given the price. There are also some restuarants and bars nearby, but guests should be aware that these are quite a walk and the hotel is not particularly central

No elevator. Not many floors though!!

Friendly family run hotel, however the owner was perhaps a little too friendly on some occasions.

There was quite a bit of road noise in the room even with the windows closed. The hotel is close to public transport, but still a fair distance from the middle of town. I would reccommend the cheaper rooms -standard room (no bath) is 10 euro cheaper than the comfort room and a slightly smaller room with your own toilet but a shared shower (as clean as the private shower) is another 10 euros less.

The staff does not speak any language except their native.

Persons in charge are kind at travelers.

very small, you can hear anything that happens in other rooms, poor ventilation system.

Access via Metro 2 until Simonis and Tram 19 works well. The hotel is convenient, but be careful not to take the a room with shared bathroom. Steep stairs are an obstacle for people with disabilities.

De mensen waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer was ruim en netjes. De ligging was erg centraal het centrum was goed bereikbaar met openbaar vervoer op loopafstand. Rustige omgeving.
