The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Rooms were spacious and well furnished. Own car park. Pleasant bar and dining facility.

To visit Ieper for Cat Festival. But we did not want to stay exactly in Ieper.

Not enough care for the person who started breakfast late in the morning.

Arrived extremely late and although the reception was closed the staff were helpful in arranging alternative arrival details.

We asked for a non smoking room and were allocated a smoking one so the smell of stale smoke wasn`t good.

Please note that the hotel is in Menen, not in Ipers, so if you are visiting the Menen Gate you are a good 14kms away, leave at least 45 minutes for travel, parking and finding a good spot.

Spacious room

The hotel look quite boring from outside, but when you enter it gets better.

Our room was very spacious, with an exceptionally large bathroom. Our friends were travelling in a family of four and were able to obtain a quad room which we were unable to find at any other hotel.

The fitness equipment was minimal, ancient and did not function well. This seems to be a common problem in European hotels, but I did expect better from a Best Western, given the positive experiences that we have had in other locations. Also, the breakfast setup had some problems. Specifically, the coffee machine was broken, and the food selection was limited.

Bra och litet affärsresehotell i lugn stadsdel. Trådlöst nätverk finns. Bra och varierat frukostbord med bra kvalitet.

Ingen aircondition och dålig ventilation gör att det kan vara väldigt varmt på rummen. Ligger i en väldigt lugn del av staden men en bit från allt så man bör ha bil för att utnyttja hotellet. Ligger ca 400-500 m från järnvägsstationen så det är långt att gå med mycket packning.

Wat voorgesteld werd als een fitnessruimte, bestond uit drie toestellen, waarvan 1 kapot, op de gang. Het ontbreken van enige service (geen personeel) bij het ontbijt.

dat er in de gangen de sigarettenrook duidelijk merkbaar was, indien nog toegelaten binnen, deze zeker scheiden van de niet-rokers, jammer dat de bar niet geopend was later op de avond, maar begrijpelijk met weinig bezetting en mevrouw die er alleen voor stond
