It was totally fine for what we needed: a single night to avoid having to drive home late. We chose the hotel based on its location to where we needed to be.
The double bed was quite small (comfort room).
Would recommend to a friend
The noise from street
Excellent staff and comfortable hotel. Good location with fast tram connection to Bruxelles city centre a few metres from the hotel.
The on-site underground car park was small but secure.
breakfast was ok.
a little too expensive for what I've experienced
Quiet and comfortable room with a balcony. Tram into the city across the street with an over 20 minute ride
If you want to be in the inner city , this is not a good option. Slightly outdated although good value for what I paid. House cleaning came after 3pm on one of the days
(really)pure breakfast, the building is under construction, and the rooms and the furniture are old and not 100% clean
breakfast (good, plentiful and till late), location on tramway stop, direct to Louise Place, stations, Bourse/Grand'Place, free street parking possible in area, balcony, nice patio, polite staff
minimal comfort for a 3 star hotel: room rather smallish, lack of shelves in bathroom, no lock bath door opening outside, small writing table badly placed, a couple of garden chairs on balcony would come handy... wifi connection broke suddenly, noise of electric drill in hotel early morning, pillows no good
Very helpful friendly staff. Family room was very well catered for with a kitchenette and separate double bedroom off the living space that had a huge double sofa bed for the children, but still had lots of space to move around. Extensive continental breakfast. Excellent value for money.
Due to warm weather the rooms were a little hot although a fan was supplied.
I stayed in your hotel for the 3rd time during the last few years. The noise from the street and the lane to your parking is unbearable. For instance my room was on the 3rd floor above the lane leading to your parking where deliveries are being held at all the hours of the night. Over the 6 nights I stayed in the hotel, there were deliveries at 3 am, 4am, 5am and during that time the delivery trucks didn't switch their engines off. Some had lifts that went up and down, doors slammed etc. Most of my nights were sleepless. As soon as I got to sleep after one delivery another arrived and again it took me a long time to get to sleep again. What is most inconvenient (and I complained about this during my previous stay but obviously nothing has been done about it) is that the coffee/tea making facilities are placed on a piece of furniture outside the rooms in the corridor opposite the lifts. This is not what I am used to in any hotel I have stayed in before. Also there was a smell of sewers/humitity in my bathroom. I will look to stay elsewhere for my next visit to Brussels. Being a member of your chain of hotels I had never received offers of discount to stay in this hotel. The offers are always of things I do not need nor want.
Beds were very comfortable Room was clean Breakfast was good Reception staff were helpful
Bitten by mosquitos at night. There was a net curtain but it did not seem to deter them. It was exceptionally hot and sticky. My daughter did not rate the sausages at breakfast.
TV, too hot in the room, english of the staff was not so good
It was comfortable, practical and friendly.
I can unfortunately not tell you much about the quality of your hotel as I only booked it for 4 visiting Swedish friends of mine since I couldn't put them all up in my apartment. However, your hotel is excellently situated, very close to my home and to public transport (trams and buses) so I will certainly book it again especially since my friends were very pleased with their stay (and the price) EXCEPT unfortunately for an incident on the last day which I am keen to report. (See minus point)
On the morning of their departure (around 9 o'clock), 8 June, the lady in the group asked the receptionist on service to order a Taxi Autolux for the airport at 6 pm (she had the voucher in her hand). Much to her surprise (and to mine!) he refused to do so "as it is not the taxi company we work with"!! I have never heard of a hotel receptionist who refuses to call a taxi for his guests! What he didn't know was that I had visited your hotel on the afternoon of 4 June to check that my booking was in order and I also explained to the very friendly and service-minded lady then on service at the reception (she is the reason why I have marked Staff with Good) that I would arrange for an "aller et retour" ticket with Taxi Autolux for my friends. She said: "No problem, we are used to that!" So how dare this male receptionist to give my friend such an answer? He made it worse by giving in in the end when she got the other 3 male friends to insist since neither of them speak French nor Dutch. Pure sexism thus! But also it is unacceptable to refuse to call Taxi Autolux when they together with maybe only one more taxi company are the only ones offering return tickets to Zaventem airport.
Clean, frendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable rooms, excellent location.
Missing of small refrigerator.
Value for money Clean and confort Parking
It was one of the very few hotels where it was still some rooms available ! Wonder why ? Room smelling old carpeting, staff not nice, breakfast roomwithout windows !
Good location with secure parking. Very pleasant staff at reception and at breakfast. Room and bathroom on the small side but very clean. Bed was fine, reasonable variety for breakfast. You get what you pay for and this was a comfortable cost effective solution for us.
Rooms are dated.
Nice location in Brussels but a real train journey into centre. Take the tram outside €2.50 to centre. Helpful reception staff. Good garaging for car but if busy limited spaces.
Hotel is dated and tired - needs face lift and re-fit to modernise. Comfortable but like staying at your grand parents place. Wifi access a pain - why not give for free? Breakfast room small. Busy when I went down.
The breakfast was excellent.
We needed glass door open in order to have some fresh air which meant the traffic was quite noisy. And during the first night of our stay people in nearby rooms were very noisy.
Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Breakfast buffet was good and I appreciated having so many BBC channels for news, which I think is more reliable than CNN.
It was noisy. I had a room on the front of the hotel and I was kept awake by revelers coming home late at night and construction. But there was no noise in the hotel which was great.
Staff is very helpful and wifi was decent
Rooms are dated and the whole building just needs renovating
Everything was according to our expectations except the breakfast and the bathroom, they were even better.
Moquette Wi-Fi Cleanliess
Nice place, slightly antique feel, good fresh, quick bar food.
Single room really quite small, but adequate.
Double bed as requested. The room and bathroom were clean. Late check in without problem. Tram station right in front of the hotel to go to the center.
Very hard to park unless you pay the parking 14eurs/day. The windows are really thin, so If you are located street side, you can hear all the traffic. The walls between rooms are really thin as well. Shared balcony with neighbors.
