Famous for it's Billiard and Snookerhall, the hotel also benefits from a central location ideal for visiting the historic and cultural center of the city. Within 5 minutes walking distance you will find the Central Train Station and the Sabena bus stop for Brussels Zaventem, enabling you to easily visit the surrounding areas and local attractions. The friendly staff are always available to help at the 24 hour reception. Hotel Rooms: 57

Comment in general: not too bad. I booked the hotel in a hurry. After booking, I found so many negative comment, so I was quite worried. However, when I arrived the hotel, it's not that bad. Firstly, the place is excellent! You can walk to the station in 5 min, which means you can catch the train easily, and you can come back even late in the midnight. At such a nice place, if the hotel would be a bit more luxury, you would pay double or triple price. Secondly, some comments said there was no hot water. For me it was OK. Thirdly, the TV works fine, not as mentioned by others. Finally, the staffs are friendly. They help and clean the rooms everyday. To conclude, this simple hotel is a very good choice for backpacks, if you want a romantic holiday, never choose this one. 1. As lots of comment mentioned, the smell of smoke. You should open the window all time, otherwise you will smell ugly smoky air all time. 2. Noisy. For me it's not a problem, but if you are sensitive during sleeping, please don't choose this hotel, or buy ear-plug. The sound isolation of the door is too bad, that if anyone walked outside, all the others in the same floor will hear clearly. Luckily, the wall-to-wall sound isolation is OK. 3. The coffee machine is too bad. With 1.8euros you can get a pathetic cup of hot water. So if you want coffee or tea, just go outside in a bar, you will get nice coffee or tea with the same 1.8euros. (there are lots of bars and restaurant around, some open till very late)

Excellent central location. Rooms are warm during winter time. - Shower was leaking water to the bathroom floor. - Only one tiny lift in the hotel. - Not enough electric sockets in the room (one in the room and one in the bathroom) - No dedicated parking (however the hotel provides 25% discount vouchers towards the use of secure public parking nearby, so it is not too bad)

i requested a 'non-smoking'-room, walked inside of it and could've as well slept in an ashtray. also, the sheets were ripped, very grubby image; overall a not nice experience in fact, i could hardly sleep at all because of the strong tobacco smell but still now have to pay; i should've slept in the car park in my garage instead.

A basic hotel with everything you need for a short stay. The rooms are clean an the beds are good. The location is excellent near the central station. Very friendly staff. The area is a bit shabby and can be less inviting at night.

When I arrived the room assigned to me was a non-smoking room, but the previous person smoked extensively in the room. It was absolutely awful and not attempt had been made to air our the room by leaving the door and/or windows open. When I went down to the desk to ask for another room, I was told that this was the last room at the low rate I had booked so I either needed to take this room or pay 10 Euros more and switch to another room with a shower. Bait and Switch??? In my opinion if they cannot provide the room which I requested because they didnt bother to clean it correctly, they should substitute another room. Instead I was offered the explanation that it wasnt the hotels fault because they cannot control what people do behind closed doors. HA!

Closeness to the station Cost is so high relative to the room. The sharing system is also not good considering the charges.

Excellent location by the train station and budget price make it worth considering. It was very clean and had a clerk on duty 24 hours. It is definitely a budget hotel so don't expect a lot of amenities but it is a very good hotel for the price. They do have a billard hall but it seemed to close early most nights and wasn't a problem.

There was someconfusion about how booking.com works. I thoguht I had already paid for the hotel. After some tough discusion it was clear to me that I pay only when I check in. The way this was communicated could have been nicer.
