The hotel served an excellent breakfast and the room was comfortable and quiet. The location of the hotel put us right in the heart of Bruges but off a quiet square. The cafe next door was lovely.
Location was excellent, Nothing too much trouble for Danny, who ran the hotel brilliantly, recommended retaurants away from the main square where prices were less expensive. Spotlessly clean, very good continental breakfast.Bar prices very reasonable. We would definitely recommend this hotel and use it again.
There was nothing not to like, the only thing we would have liked was tea & coffee facilities in the room but these were available in the bar until 8pm.
The room was spotless, breakfast was nice and served in a spacious area so you never felt rushed. The location is good, walking distance to anywhere in the city centre.
No parking at the hotel, we parked in one of the municipal carparks - 26 euros for three days.
Great location and spotlessly clean with a very friendly and informative welcome from the staff. The breakfast was excellent so overall I was very happy.
the staff were excellent. We could not fault the service we received. Extremely helpful - nothing was too much bother. We would recommend this hotel to anyway looking for accommodation in Brugge.
would have been nice to have tea making facilities in room
The staff at the hotel are very nice and helpful. The location is fantastic and the hotel is comfortable and spotless clean.
We were charged an additional €12 on check-out which we didn't expect at all. We were told it was a city tax but the Booking.com price is always the final total so we were not happy about that. It brought the total cost higher than we would have budgeted for had we known. This tax should be included in the Booking price so other customers are not put in the same position. The hotel was also €40 more expensive for the same stay as 18 months previous which is a significant rise.
The staff made considerable effort to make you feel welcome. Comfy beds, and a good shower!
Pleasant room facing the square. Nice to have a lift nearby. Friendly, helpful receptionist.
Room was small. Bathroom also too small, toilet was too close to the shower. Difficult for tall people.
Hotel was good, but closed the day we left so unable to leave our bags at the hotel when site seeing. Not too much of a problem but would have been good it they could have told us before we booked
We spent very good times in this hotel and everything was lovely. The room was very clean, the staff was very helpfull, the localization is perfect. I would stay again in this hotel.
Extra amount charged for late checkin
The location, the owners, value for money, and the VERY comfortable bed! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel - BOOK IT!!
No tea/coffee making facility in the room.
Staff were very helpful, hotel was clean, warm and had free wifi. Breakfast was great and location was perfect. Within walking distance to everywhere.
Great quiet location. Hotel owners Danny and Reuben we're very friendly and helpful.
Great central location with comfortable rooms. Helpful and friendly as always. Second visit and both times the welcome has been just as warm.
Location; room decor; heating; TV channels
No hot drink facility in room. Breakfast good but contents not varied
Very friendly staff and a very good location
Our room was dated and smelt damp. The hotel was expensive for the quality, possibly due to the location, but not the standard of the hotel
Great location , 5mins walk from car parking ( very cheap €14 for 2days) 5 mins walk from main square. Hotel gorgeous . Breakfast very good .
Nothing at all
Great location. Lovely clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Extra touches made the stay even more memorable such as the chocolates left each time the room was cleaned!
An excellent stay cut short by a day due to industrial action in Belgium so we hope to return and will certainly return to Hotel Biskajer when we will bring a small kettle etc for a late night cuppa! Thankyou Reuben and Danny.
There was nothing to dislike about this hotel but travels in the UK, USA, Canada and other European countries has accustomed us to having facilities for preparing hot drinks in our room....we didn't think to pack our travel kettle!
We had a three day weekend break in this beautiful medieval town to experience the Christmas markets and do a bit of Christmas shopping. The hotel Biskajeer was an excellent location for the shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. It was only a five minute walk from the main market square. The hotel was also just across the way from the picturesque canals which surround Bruge. The Hotel Biskajeer was very clean and comfortable and ideal for our short break. The continental breakfast was also very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times .I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends if they were considering a short break to Bruge.
Unfortunately no parking at the hotel so we had a 10 minute drive to an underground car park when we arrived and left the car there for the weekend at a reasonable cost. 15-20 minute walk to get car when we left, however we did get a little lost admittedly.
Great location to city centre, nice room, excellent value and very helpful staff.
There could be more variety with breakfast, and tea/coffee making facilities in room would be nice.
staff were very helpful and friendly
