Very friendly staff and a very good location
Our room was dated and smelt damp. The hotel was expensive for the quality, possibly due to the location, but not the standard of the hotel
Great location , 5mins walk from car parking ( very cheap €14 for 2days) 5 mins walk from main square. Hotel gorgeous . Breakfast very good .
Nothing at all
Great location. Lovely clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Extra touches made the stay even more memorable such as the chocolates left each time the room was cleaned!
An excellent stay cut short by a day due to industrial action in Belgium so we hope to return and will certainly return to Hotel Biskajer when we will bring a small kettle etc for a late night cuppa! Thankyou Reuben and Danny.
There was nothing to dislike about this hotel but travels in the UK, USA, Canada and other European countries has accustomed us to having facilities for preparing hot drinks in our room....we didn't think to pack our travel kettle!
We had a three day weekend break in this beautiful medieval town to experience the Christmas markets and do a bit of Christmas shopping. The hotel Biskajeer was an excellent location for the shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. It was only a five minute walk from the main market square. The hotel was also just across the way from the picturesque canals which surround Bruge. The Hotel Biskajeer was very clean and comfortable and ideal for our short break. The continental breakfast was also very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful at all times .I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends if they were considering a short break to Bruge.
Unfortunately no parking at the hotel so we had a 10 minute drive to an underground car park when we arrived and left the car there for the weekend at a reasonable cost. 15-20 minute walk to get car when we left, however we did get a little lost admittedly.
Great location to city centre, nice room, excellent value and very helpful staff.
There could be more variety with breakfast, and tea/coffee making facilities in room would be nice.
staff were very helpful and friendly
Hotel Biskajer is an charming hotel in an excellent location. Dany and Ruben who run the hotel were friendly, knowledgable and extremely helpful and made us feel very much at home. We will definitely return and would highly recommend.
Loved the hotel, what you see is what you get. Really comfortable beds, warm and cosy feel to the place , good location once we got our bearings.
Food Friendly Staff Location
Being on 3rd Floor
Location, close to Market Square and Borg Square. Owners were very attentive and informative. Our room 206 facing gardens was clean, quiet and comfortable. Rooms at the front of the hotel faced a lovely square.
No tea/coffee making facilities but would not stop me booking this lovely hotel again.
Very good value - a well run hotel with lots of charm in a quiet location close to the centre of Bruges. The room was comfortable, clean and nicely furnished, and we were impressed with the standard of the breakfast provided. The staff were courteous and helpful. All in all we were very happy with our stay.
Good selection for continental breakfast. Great location. Great info from staff and very helpful.
friedly staff, clean room, in the center of the town
Location : decent, price : fair.
Staff acted as though couldn't care or less whether we we there or not. No advice on wifi. On leaving it appeared too much effort for staff to book a taxi. Finally there was not even so much as a "thank you for your stay". Disappointing as it dampened what was a lovely place and weekend.
Breakfast was a bit better than adequate. room and bathroom were small but adequate. Location was quite good.
Owner/ manager (?) should take a lesson in how to smile.
The Hotel was tastefully furnished in a perfect location, very central but still quiet. The owners were charming and very helpful. Breakfast was really nice. We are planning to return in the summer with family and small dog.
Nothing really, but it would be nice to have tea making facilities in the room. Us English do like a cup of tea when we wake up, but not really a problem
The hotel is in a quiet area a few blocks off the main square. Our room was good sized, with comfortable bed and good bathroom. Breakfast was your basic fare, presented very nicely by the host/owner. Host/owner is very helpful.
A bit of a distance from the train station. If transporting bags, you'll want to take a taxi or the bus. You can get a direct bus that drops you very near the hotel.
a real continental breakfast with muesli.
The location is quiet, but near everything you will want to see in Brugges. The staff was very helpful with suggestions on how to make the most of our short stay.
Excellent location, very quiet but close to market square and other places of interest. Clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly.
Room décor was very dark and lighting was very subdued, we needed a torch to read the small print on our maps! No kettle or drink making facilities in the room.
Great location right in the center of Bruges
Very difficult or impossible to find a car parking
Lovely room overlooking the square. Everywhere immaculate and very clean. Very good breakfast, lots of choice.
Staff was very helpful
