Hotel Biskajer is a cosy first class hotel, situated in the very centre of Bruges on a small and quiet square at a 2 minute walking distance from the Market Square. All our 17 rooms have private facilities en-suite, a radio, a colour TV and a telephone. Our hotel has a very nice bar and an elevator.

Since February all bathrooms have been renovated and recently we replaced the beds.

After a refreshing sleep, we serve you a delicious breakfast that gives you the necessary energy for a day of sightseeing in Bruges. Buffet breakfast is always included in the price and is served from 8am until 10am.When you return from a day of discovering the surroundings, you can enjoy a pleasant chat in our bar with a local beer or another refreshment.

Room information

All our rooms have been given a new look and radiate a warm and cosy atmosphere. The rooms are finished with French oak panelling and painted in romantic colours (for example, Bordeaux red and light purple). Our rooms are equipped with a colour television, telephone and black marble en suite with bath or shower, toilet and hairdryer.

All our rooms, along with the rest of the hotel, are non-smoking.

Please note that a minimum stay of 2 nights is required for many periods, it is possible that the hotel will inform you after you have finished the booking and that the booking will be cancelled in case you don't want to book for 2 nights minimum.

The hotel was very central. Staff very helpful. Hotel very clean

The bar was only open until 11pm

Nice cosy room although a bit basic for a 4* hotel, location.

Small very basic bathroom, not superclean and no shower(curtain). Small elevator, breakfast choice was a bit limited. All in all a nice hotel but not a 4*, as a frequent traveller I would rate this hotel a decent 3*.

The location is superb and is within 3minutes walking distance from the main square. The continental breakfast is excellent with tea and coffee on request.

I would describe the facility as a good B&B or 3* hotel in an excellent location. No tea making facilities in room. Poor TV English channel selection. The hotel bar is somewhat expensive and very small.

Location, friendly staff, nice breakfast, comfortable room.

No mount for the shower head, so I had to hold it up to shower, which was quite awkward. Also, no shower curtain, which meant the place got soaked.

Very helpfull and smiling staff.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like, but it's not easy to get to the hotel by car - but that's one of the charming things about Brügge

cleanliness of hotel and rooms,

it was rated as 4* however I would say as a seasoned traveller that it is more like a 3*

The rooms were excellent. The staff were all you could ask for.

The breakfast could have been a bit better but it is contintinental & they had everything you would expect.

During our stay fasade of the hotel was under renovation what brought some disadvantage.

Friendliness & pleasantness of staff. Value for money. Great location, 10mins walk from the Market Square.

Overall I have no negative comments, apart perhaps from the wall colour in our room - dark brown, which was very dark! Other aspects made up for this minor detail though.

The room was what you would expect of a mainland Europe hotel in terms of size. The bed was comfortable, bed linen was clean as was the room. Bathroom was good having both a bath and a shower. Hotel was quiet with little traffic but very handy for the centre of Brugge. Good continental breakfast. Staff were helpful and all spoke good English.

A mini bar would have been nice as would a kettle in the room. Compared to UK hotels this is not a 4* it would rate as a 3 but continental hotels do seem to rate differently.
