Funky hotel with good atmosphere in great location
A little expensive
Bar and Lunch closing early Staff not very polite
- Creative and stylish design - Good wifi - Good breakfast
- Rooms towards the street a bit loud - Location a little bit off
Breakfast to expensive and opens late toilet sink is nice to see but bad to use
2 wake up calls in the morning which I haven't asked the sum reserved from my credit card was more that the price for the room, a bit annoying.
Nice location (near the bothanical garden) Large room and beds Interior design
room is comfortable, clean, well designed. friendly staff. easy access to main attractions.
it's not far away from the North Station but to travellers with big suitcases, it's not easy to go uphill, plus the road is under construction. Not suggested to access the hotel by taking train from airport to north station. It will be better to take bus from airport then get off in the nearest bus stop.
Warm, clean and fun hotel.
The neibourhood has scary and not trusty people. Maybe it was just coincidence.
-breakfast is excellent - near Metro -Room is spacious -Nice room Design
-Noise -Finishing contractor is not qualified -far from center
Value for price
The position although is convenient for public trasportation, seems to be not very safe: close to the brussels north and to the redlight district. Better to avoid that area in the night
Comfortable spacious room Huge firm bed Quiet room Value for money Excellent restaurant
A large room that is clean & elegant and has a good wifi connection. A reasonable price for a capital city.
The breakfast is overpriced at 25 euros and the Smoods restaurant is no more than OK, but it's a long walk to the nearest alternatives.
some queues at the reception.
Before we flew to Brussels I had emailed the hotel for advice on directions and travel- they responded within a couple of hours with a very detailed, incredibly helpful and friendly email so I was already confident in our choice of hotel. However, when we arrived it was even nicer than I'd expected- the reception area was super stylish, modern and plush and the bar was the trendiest hotspot in the area (the pictures don't do it justice) Our room was spotless with views of the botanical gardens and the staff went above and beyond with directions, recommendations etc. We came here for an occasion so we were wanting something a bit special and this ticked all the boxes- especially for the price.
The location could be a little far out for some people- around 20 minutes walk from the busier areas- but the gardens are lovely and it's a nice walk so perfect for us! Also the hotel taxis were very expensive- to Charleroi airport they wanted 150 euros whereas we found a local firm on google which charged around 65!
Clean room Good fascilities Comfortable stay Helpful staff Good location
Location is good, as it is close to the metro and tram station. And also walking distance to the shopping area and city square. However my flight arrived at 8 at night (20:00) and then I took the metro to Brusseles Noord. The short +- 1km walk at night, from Brussels Noord to Bloom, is through a "red light diatrict". Woman advertising themselves in the windows etc. It was however just at night, and to the opposite side of town (more to central) no such thing.
This was an amazing weekend in brussels, this was one of the best hotels iv ever stayed in. Great facilities, modern hip place to stay. Great fun atmosphere
Relatively long que for check out
The location to see concerts etc....near Bota and Royal Circus
the check inn + checking out is not ok a long line waiting....
Next to the botanical garden. Close to the metro!
Proximity to town centre, price was amazing for what it is, Smoods bar and restaurant is an added bonus. The room was huge, clean and we slept really well.
Nothing, it was all great.
The hotel was clean and bright. The reception area was trendy, and the staff very helpful. There was a fridge in the bedroom.
The fixtures and fittings in the bedroom were of only average quality. The shower was quite poor, and the towels small and of low quality. The breakfast was quite prohibitively expensive.
The ropm design and fitness room
The plus: The decoration and atmosphere are very nice. The staff is very friendly. The room is spacious. The bar/restaurant is very nice and the food is good.
The minus: Horrible beds. You can actually feel the springs against your back. This ruins the whole experience. Breakfast is good, but extremely expensive (25 euro).
The room is very big, nicely decorated. Comfortable chair for reading, coffee machine in the room. The meals in the hotels restaurant are very tasty
The smell from the bathroom wasn't too nice. But most annoying was the quality of the bedding, I couldn't sleep normally. beds are very outdated. Wifi was not working with Windows 8, thus no internet connection during the whole stay
The best free hotel wifi I've ever experienced- it was easy to use, fast, and reliable. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent bar/ restaurant. Modern yet comfortable design throughout. Highly recommend.
Bathroom in room could have used updating.
