Friendly owner & Staff. Nice room. Good en-suite. Well placed near City Centre. Good breakfast. We did think it a little overpriced for a simple b & b and for what you got. |

The great location to the city centre provided excellent access to all the attractions without being too far from the train station. |

The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff were friendly in a cool Belgian way. The hotel is extremely convenient for all the sights of Bruges. |

Excellent location, hotel with lots of character and friendly/helpful staff. Very comfortable room with small roof garden. Large, modern bathroom with all facilities. Good breakfast - and even a packed breakfast for our early departure. Previous reviewers have complained about the narrow winding staircases. These still exist but alternative normal staircases are available to reach the rooms. |

Good location, very comfortable and excellent breakfasts. The strength of the euro makes it quite expensive right now for uk travellers. |

Excellent central location but also very quiet. Unusual old building tatesfully converted into a small hotel. We only saw 2 staff, possibly the owners, who were very helpful and friendly. |

Excellent location in center of Bruges. Room on the backside was very quiet and very suitable for me. Friendly and obliging staff. Room was too cold at night. Too low waterpressure in shower. |

Location - very close to central market square and many attractions of the old town, quiet location. Very good breakfast. Very small room - hard to move around. Bathroom: very tight shower cabin and without any curtain! (designed like that) No soap or shampoo two days in a row... |

Hotel is very convenient for the main attractions of brugge. Rooms are tastefully furnished and quaint. Breakfast is plentiful with a nice selection of cooked meats, cheese, eggs(cooked to order), bread fruit, etc., served indoors or outside in the small courtyard. |

we were very disappointed especially as it was highly recommended. our rooms were very expensive and neither of them had a shower! would never stay there again or recommend it to anyone else see above - also, price listed per room was 55 per night but when we paid for the bill it had been doubled |

Lovely staff and facilities. Breakfast included is good and (for Europe!) very generous. Well located within Brugge -- most is within very quick walking distance. Rooms are small, but that is to be expected in Europe. |

A very charming and nice place, very central, no problems with parking, 2 min walking. Very cosy breakfast, nice bathroom and bed. The staff is very friendly and helpful, we surely go back. Since the hotel is near canals there were a lot of flies during the night, with many stitches.... Next time we will not leave the window opened. |

Atmospheric old house; very friendly helpful staff; private garage for car quite close to hotel; very convenient position; good breakfast First night there was a noisy reception/nightclub - fortunately it stopped about 11pm Next night was fairly quiet. Room quiet if windows closed but no air conditioning so as it was hot weather had to have them open slightly. |

The staff was very nice, very helpful and accomodating. The location was terrific and the breakfasts were complete and good! I think communication could be better. A question I emailed before arrival went unanswered. Also, there were beverages available to purchase in a central room of the hotel, but we were not made aware of this. We would probably have taken advantage of this service. |

the hotel was in a good location, clean and well designed.Pleasant staff, english spoken.Parking local and cheap.Good breakfast. no lift, steep stairs.Adds character, but not easy with cases. My wife was given an electric shock from faulty wiring on lamp in room. When trying to explain the understanding of what could have been a serious event was somewhat lacking. |
