Our hotel is situated in the old towncentre of Brugge. The renovated building was used as buttermarket in the middleages. Jan, Annie and Jannie welcome you and your family in the hotel.

I found this hotel particularly well managed. Upon arrival, a map was offered with additional info incl wifi connection without any prompting on my part. The breakfast is copious and the location excellent with many restaurants nearby. Some thought has been given as to what the visitor might need. Nothing. The single room was small but the bathroom modern and well laid out.

Very helpful owners, good breakfast and an excellent location. The room was comfortable although the furnishings were rather old , as in the public areas which are charming. The bathroom, however, was large and very new. It also has air conditioning. The spiral staircase.

I have stayed at the Boterhuis 3 times now - it has recently been refurbished & updated. Our room was beautiful in the old part of the property but with all modern facilities. Bedroom & bathroom were really spacious. All staff helpful & courteous.

We had a really comfortable stay and very impressed with the facilities. The pictures do not do the room or hotel justice! They were kept clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Within easy walking distance to the town centre and other pop sites. The breakfast was awesome, fresh eggs cooked for you on request! We really enjoyed our stay here and it is definitely value for money.

Location was incredible, can't get any closer to the main square. Staff was nice, and the hotel itself was very quaint. Definitely recommend for anyone going to Bruges N/A

GREAT LOCATION. VERY CLOSE TO BRUGE SQUARE AND MARKET. STAIR IS TOO NARROW AND VERY STEEP. QUITE DIFFICULT WITH SMALL CHILDREN AND LARGE LUGGAE.

The hotel was right downtown and minutes walk from the market square. The breakfast was very good - eggs to order. Parking was in a lot around the corner and 8.7 euro for 24 hours. The room was newly renovated and really nice. The staff were incredibly friendly - even carrying our big suitcase up the winding staircase on check-in. She also recommended things that the kids would enjoy while we were there.

The staff were magnificient and so friendly and willing to go the extra mile. I am well travelled and have stayed all over the world in many differant types of accommodation. One of the best places I have ever had the pleasure in staying. Nothing.

Location superb for the town centre (3 minutes walk) Comfortable and spacious room with nice bathroom. Nice continental breakfast. We pre-booked parking which was very useful. Felt sorry for the poor man struggling to keep up with the breakfast orders. Fine for us but the less able bodied may struggle with the stairs. Beware parking a large car. It can be done but the car park is increadibly tight.

The Hotel was ideally situated near the market square but in a quiet street. The hotel rooms were extremely nice and the family who run the hotel very hospitable and friendly. They made you feel welcome and were helpfull.

A very friendly hotel, excellent location with very clean spacious rooms that made for a very comfortable stay. We felt very well looked after with 2 very young children, enjoying a lovely breakfast in the morning!

Beautifuly decorated, huge rooms, with the largest hotel bathroom I've ever seen. The house in which the hotel is located is absolutely amazing, historical building renovated with love and care. Confy beds, warm rooms, great breakfast. The bathroom, though beautiful, was quite unpractical, with absolutely no surface to lay your toiletries.

Quad room with rooftop views. Lovely breakfast room with eggs made to order! Great location for exploring this wonderful city! Carrying luggage to 3rd floor room up spiral staircase--staff eager to help.

welcome was very warm, car parking explained before we arrived and then very helpful when we arrived. Rooms with connecting door was invaluable, and really appreciated. No reply to first email asking about car parking and connecting door - would have been good to have resolved these two worries soon after booking
