Canalview Hotel Ter Reien is in a quiet setting in a residential part of Bruges, next to the scenic Sint-Annerei Canal.

Great location, hospitable staff, good breakfast.
Location, Location, Location...short walk to all sites in all directions, great restaurants within half block, and real Belgian products on same street.
if you don't like convenience, you will hate the noise...horse carriages, carillons, people laughing. But if you are in Bruge to enjoy it, you'll be out with everyone else with a big smile on your face!
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was pretty basic
beside the canal breakfast was good staff were excellent close to main square
This hotel has lovely views and is very comfortable with a good location.
The most amazing view from our bedroom window!!
Good location, nice staff, nice view from the breakfast room. This is a nice small town with quite a few hotels, from which you can go anywhere on foot.
Very small room, small bathroom with a transparent glass door beside the toilet. Average breakfast. The tariff of the public parking place shows € 8,70 for one day, but if you reserve from the hotel, they will charge € 10 for your parking card. And the Parking place are not that full, you can go there yourself.
Clean room, great location, friendly staff great breakfast, firm and super clean bed. I was really impressed, I was expecting a smelly, old "authentic" hotel room instead it was comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay, I am looking forward to come in the Spring.
really nothing, I opted for the "budget room" and it was a little bit smaller than the "standard room" BUTS it was my choice to save money. It was just perfect and cozy for two people.
Rooms clean but dated.
Nice hotel in a very central location
Lots of noise from the street.Couldn't keep the window closed because there is no air conditioning
This hotel is in a great Central location, the staff were polite and very helpful, the room was lovely with a great view, easy access to most areas, underground car parking nearby and reasonably priced.. Breakfast was lovely very relaxing setting..
We booked this hotel but were put in the adjoining hotel that they seemed to be joining together, some renovations were getting done but didn't cause any disruption, few cobwebs on the lights and the ceiling..
so close to the centre of everything.
shower in the bathroom - in the eaves.
The location of the hotel is fanrastic and the breakfasts are good
Room was small, no usable shower and very small bath, room door lock didn't feel safe. No recreation area to sit in to have coffee. Staff were very noisy along corridor and you could hear the occupants above.
Location, breakfast, clean
Staff was not as nice as i had expected, we had now view
Location and very helpful staff
So handy to the market square and all the famous sites of the town. Also one of the best breakfasts in all our travels.
Excellent location spacious comfortable room with wonderful views and in walking distance of restaurants and bars
Attitude of staff towards the fact we had our well behaved well travelled Border Terrier he was not welcome in the breakfast room and after explaining they were supposedly pet friendly we were told to sit in the corner where no one could see him !!!
Location & very helpful staff.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was large and comfortable even by American standards. We chose the canal view room and were very happy with the top floor , corner room we received. Wonderful views on both sides. Location was also excellent. A short walk to market square, if you can find the belfry and square you can find your room ( even after enjoying several of the local beers). Would definitely stay here again.
Location, location, location! The fact that our dog was allowed. The breakfast was ample. The staff pleasant. The fact that car parking was available to book.
The room was very small. The bathroom door was glass, which didn't give any privacy. There was very little available ventilation as the full length window opened onto the fire escape, which wasn't suitable to leave open for our dog, hence it was very hot at night. Our dog wasn't allowed in the breakfast room.
The location is THE BEST. Hotel is located over a canal, in the very centre. Just about 200m from the Belfort Tower & the Grote Markt square. The room was nice, clean and comfortable for the price. Hotel's restaurant was very nice.
Wi-Fi not working
Great location, great views, clean, decent bathroom, WiFi and breakfast.
The photos for this hotel really do give this place far too much justice than is actually deserved. The place is barely holding itself together with no/poor decorating and obvious botched up handy work and mismatched and poor quality furniture. I'm guessing there are at least more than 5 rooms that have actually been updated (if the photos are real!) which no doubt you will have to pay a lot more for.
Location perfect. Comfortable bed, room clean and a good breakfast.
Room quite small and glass doors to the toilet and the shower. No sink with the separate toilet. Definetely not recommended for anyone who prefers privacy or peace in bathroom.
Friendly staff, we felt very welcome. Great to be in the hub of the town yet peaceful at night. Comfort room was very comfy & even though we didn't have the desired canal view............we looked out onto cobbled streets with chocolate shops, Belfry & Market square to the right, aswell as The Dijver canal area to the left. Disappointed with tv however, soo much to see & experience sitting on the window sill.........most lovely!
The breakfast was extensive but i'm English, so if your gonna have eggs on the menu.......ketchup is necessary! Flatscreen tv with English channels was promised. We found a dated tv & a no English channels.
