Score from 844 reviews Very good
The room was large and comfortable. Bathroom was of good size and perfectly clean. Staff was very friendly.
it is so nice to be able to travel with our dog and stay here in comfort.
The hotel was in an amazing location, very central and very pretty. It was also really quiet which was great and the beds were very comfortable. There were a couple of items in the room not working, but these were replaced very quickly and happily. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and it was a very nice stay
The bedrooms are a bit dated and could do with a lick of paint, although the bathrooms seem to have been modernised and the bedroom furniture has seen better days.
Location & appearance
Paper thin bedroom walls, glass toilet door, shower, bedrooms were just not in keeping with the style of the hotel
Good value all round. Well worth money
no view whatsoever from the room bathroom window filthy plastic and didnt fit the hole properlyand the bathroom door was glass no privacy at all tea and coffee facilities in room poor
Views from the room and restaurant. Buffet breakfast was good. Excellent value for money. Perfect location.
Room decoration was a little dated.
Location excellent. All the staff were extremely helpful & knowledgeable. Great breakfast!!
Location of this hotel was perfect and central enough for most things we wanted to do.
There was not a option for a Cooked breakfast or anything warm.
Everything. The breakfast was excellent too.
The room was really very small, but the ensuite bathroom was a good size. They did not match.
Hotel was well positioned good out look. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, always being replenished. Only comment is no lounge or bar to relax after a day of sightseeing.
Breakfast only continental, no hot food available.
Great location with enthusiastic staffs. Nice breakfirst
Friendly helpful staff. Fabulous location. Comfortable beds and pillows. Spacious bathroom with deep bath and lots of hot water. Buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Baggage storage.
We liked everything - no complaints
The friendliness of the staff and the comfort of the room
Good location and good quality buffet breakfast included.
Although we were staying in a budget room it was very small with small bathroom which was in tired condition and didn't like the glass door so no privacy! The bedroom furniture was in need of replacing and the bathroom radiator didn't work but fan heater provided.
Had the option to choose a double bed. When we got there it was two singles pushed together with two single duvets. The option to choose the type of bed was one of the reasons for choosing hotel so found this very annoying! Dated decor and looked tatty. Breakfast was ok not much option.
Excellent location and the ground floor reception & bar/breakfast rooms were lovely. The gentleman owner and a couple of other members of staff were friendly and extremely helpful, although one lady on reception was not quite so receptive.
Our first floor bedroom was a reasonable size, but the view from the window of an internal services space and ventilation ducts were a disappointment. We had a long very narrow bathroom which was poor. Our first floor bedroom and common areas were dated and could do with improvement.
Amazing to stay in the room which is the most photographed spot in Bruges. Beautiful views
Lovely hotel in the most perfect setting
Central location Canal view room Canal view restaurant Modernised bathroom Very decent breakfast Very helpful and friendly staff
Requested double bed, but got 2 twin beds pushed together and 2 single duvets Ran out of some of the bread rolls, cheese and tea bags near the breakfast finish time
The location is perfect. Also the staff is very helpful. The view to the canals is amazing
Not a good value for money. Expecting more when you are paying much for a three stars property. Public areas are a little abandoned. Breakfast must have more variety.
We stayed here for one night in November. We chose a canal facing room, and didn't expect to get much of a view. When we arrived the reception staff were very helpful and allowed us to store our cases, when we returned for check in we were led to a room downstairs, we were amazed at the rooms view and size! There are 2 rooms on the lower floor and both face the canal, they had original features and plenty of space, the canal is right under the window and you can see the bridges and the other buildings. Overall this hotel is perfect for a stay in Bruges and will definitely be returning!
The enquire bathroom had a glass door which I wasn't too keen on. The bed although comfortable, was 2 single beds put together. This didn't turn out to be an issue but it is worth mentioning
Staff, Location, Bed, Cleanliness.
Room was a little on the small side & we did ask for one facing the river. Shower needs changing or shield made bigger, water goes everywhere
Close to centre of town. Old building with character, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, Erasmus restaurant adjacent provided excellent dinner. Would stay again and highly recommend.
Nothing to dislike.
