Just as soon as I saw it on the web I fell in love with it and it certainly lived up to my expectations when we arrived

The budget room which we had booked was very small and dark, but the manager determined that we were not going to miss out offered us a lovely spacious courtyard view room which really put a smile on our face. They couldn't do enough for us, wonderfukl place

Great central location and really helpful staff. A good base for exploring Brugge

Little details really. Stayed in room 310 with good views over canal. Very spacious. Only downsides were that the catches were broken so the inner windows didn't close properly, and the constant commentaries by the canal cruisers could be a pain sometimes. Also the shaving light in the bathroom wasn't working.

Yes, the room did have a lovely view through the grubby window smothered with fingerprints. Yes, the room was spacious. But ---- The carpet was stained, the decor very tired, sofa & chair was dirty, no signal on the tv, no clock in the room, no milk for tea/coffee, no hotel information in the room, not even an evacuation escape procedure on the wall. Makes one wonder what the standard rooms are like here !!!

The staff were friendly and polite and did everything they could to help. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the position of the hotel (which we found after driving round Bruges for an hour) was ideally placed for everything. the staff had also booked a car park for us which helped greatly. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

My wife and I travelled with 2 friends in April 2012. We drove from England (which is quicker than travelling to Cornwall) using the Chunnel. England was dull and wet but on arrival in Bruges it was sunny and dry. Hotel was perfect location just minutes away from the main square and overlooked the canal. Quiet location but close to attractions. Very clean, comfortable and welcoming staff. Good value for money. Car park was a secure underground facility 3 minutes walk from hotel. Enjoyed every minute and would recommend to any visitor to this hotel. Brian and Katie UK

We should have stayed longer!

Hotel was in a great location right on the canal. Our room was really comfortable, staff were really friendly and the hotel was excellent value for money with a good breakfast included in the room rate

The atmosphere is relaxed and very friendly. Johannes speaks excellent English and was able to help us out with many useful bits of advice. The staff are friendly, the canalside rooms offer the most wonderful views and are so quiet & spacious. The bed-linen is fresh & crsip, the building itself is quaint, very old and fascinating situated in a great quarter of the town. Represents wonderful value for money - we are 2 Australians and one Dutch & we would certainly stay there again.

Made to feel at home. Nice breakfast and right in the centre of the city.

Suggest customers ask for room with view overlooking river not the street.. I was a little disappointed as apparently you have to ask not offered at 35 euros per room per night more.
