Good point is the fitness center, quite spacious and well equipped. Unfortunately is arranged in the basement of the hotel (level -3) and thus it has no windows and might appear a bit claustrophobic! Front desk personnel is not memorable for its friendliness.

Big, nice and clean room and bathroom. Reasonably quiet. Good location. Telephone in room not always connected and front desk rarely answered outside or in-house calls. The one local call (5 minutes) we managed to do cost 7 Euros! Lift not functioning at departure which meant taking the luggage three flights down a narrow emergency exit as room telephone didn't function. None of the items stated on website or in hotel info pamphlet in the room were for sale at front desk. Our room nearly broken into the first evening, made us feel unsafe and a request to change rooms was met with a non-interested reply from the front desk. The front desk staff were unfriendly, arrogant and thoroughly unhelpful throughout our 4 day´s stay. A hotel that could have been nice, but we would warn anyone to stay there as there is no service-mindedness whatsoever among the staff.

The balcony on the 10th floor. I like this area of Brussels. The reception staff are just appalling: they are simply rude and not helpful at all. This hotel is not really a business hotel, perhaps ok for a city break, but not if you expect business facilities and speedy service. The breakfast was a disaster: poor selection and not enough tables: people were waiting for tables with plates in their hands! The staff did not bother to check if the buffet run out of items, unless you specifically tell them that there is no coffee or milk in the coffee maker they will not move a finger.

We particularly appreciated the size of the room, the quality of the furniture and the overall cleanliness. In addition, car parking was free of charge during week-end. Hotel staff, particularly in the reception desk, was not always welcoming and kind.

good position, rooms are quite big and clean. Elevators are incredibly small... one was out of order for a entire day, every time we had to wait for minutes.

Room is big, comfortable and clean. Value for money. An independent balcony is a surprise. Recommand for business trip. A little bit far from the Grand Place (walking 30 minutes)

The "Classic Family Room" is a great value for the money - huge and comfortable. Breakfast buffet is decent, especially when included in the price. Some confusion about whether or not city tax and breakfast are included in the price were eventually cleared up by showing/forwarding the booking.com receipt. Nobody seemed to care about the dinner tray (with leftovers on it ...) next to the lift for the whole time I stayed there (3 nights), even after pointing it out to reception. Otherwise, I would have rated the hotel even higher ...

Very chic hotel with well-kept rooms and stately furniture. Nice overall decor and location is quite comfortable. TV channel choice also quite good. It could do with free wi-fi in the rooms, cosnidering that other nearby hotels have this. It's also a little odd that the door should be closed after midnight in such a large hotel.

Very easy hotel to stay in . The staff were efficient & friendly, the food in the restaurant was excellent & the service was very good. They also gave us an upgrade. Only one person in the breakfast room to log you in, clear & clean the tables after use, and keep the fruit levels, coffee machine and bread topped up. However, the gentleman never lost his smile.

Nice breakfast, nice rooms, very close to the shopping street. It seems that family rooms want to separate couples and keep the single beds apart.

Good location, good breakfast, good front of house design and style, reasonable bar area. Under-resourced reception leading to delays, room 26 at the back of the hotel was noisy due to back-alley rubbish collection and car park.

Excellent location near shops in Avenue Louise, restaurants in Chatelain and Ixelles and museums in Mont des Arts. Friendly and efficient service, big rooms and very comfortable, large beds. Le Pain Quotiden -café just across the street (Avenue Louise 124) is a wonderful place to have a breakfast if that's not included in the room price. There could be some more storage space in the rooms.

“Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent, first class breakfast. Very clean room and bathroom. Excellent location (used public transport during stay: the metro station is approx 5 minutes, tram approx. 1 minute) Very quiet in the evening, due to the fact that the hotel is located in a small street parallel to ave. Louise.” Réka, Budapest |
