Breakfast and Staff
Half used bottle of water in the mini bar
Proximity to station and centre
Great location, just a short walk to the main square and high street
Location was awesome. There was parking right across the street for 8.40€ a night which was a steal. Bed was very comfortable
Food Staff very helpful Room was great big bed, large bathroom, nice coffee machine Food was excellent specially the breakfast. close to the bus/train station and very close to the shops would definitely stay again
location - close to main car park and easy walk into Bruges. Much easier to walk in than to drive in as first time visitor! Beds very comfortable Breakfast excellent - make sure its included in the tariff or else its €21
room dark (we were there in December)
More or less everything
In room 509 the air conditioning was not working and the room very cold - they gave us an electric radiator for our stay to warm it up.
Everything as usual
Front office staff was so helpful and friendly
Location Staff friendliness Bar
Breakfast choices slightly low Tea coffee self service
Ground floor room- totally personal and nothing to do with hotel. :)
comfortable bedroom helpfulness of all staff relaxed atmosphere
cool temp. in bar & restaurant
We were upgraded for free. Huge beds, very comfortable. Quiet rooms, cleans. Stuff friendly and helpful. Public parking 7 euros/ day nearby.
the location was excellent, personel was kind and very helpfull.
the parking facilities, allways have to be accounted for as no facility and extra in the available parking garage.
we were given a junior suite (had booked a superior double, so this was very nice!) huge, comfortable bed. breakfast - lots of variety and choice.
strange gurgling / rattling noise almost constant in the room - we got used to it! the corridors seem endless and it's easy to get a bit lost!¬
Staff very helpful and welcoming. Bar good and dinner excellent as was breakfast.
No heating in room. One lamp didn't light. No remote control for TV. Toilet difficult to flush.
Easy to street park on a meter outside hotel to drop off bags and underground car park very close and good value. Hotel is on the edge of the old town so very accessible. Generous late check out on Sunday and luggage store for early arrival. Rooms very comfortable with high ceilings and big beds
No heating, room dark, poor breakfast
great location friendly staff spacious room
bathroom leaked on to carpet - room had mouldy smell quite an old hotel with a musty smell fitness equipment very basic & broken
Convenient location Friendly staff Spacious room Tea making facilities
The location, near to all facilities and the station. The Sundayeasy checkout rules. The quality of the food at breakfast and dinner.
On friday night we had probably the surliest waiter in Belgium. Everything was too much trouble and spoiled what was a superb meal. We did not eat there again.we made a complaint and sincerely hope it was acted on
The location and parking
Coffee/tea making machine very poor. Only one local television channel available, apparently they were having problems with satellite dishes. Food and drinks very expensive.
Position of hotel excellent Good car parking opposite hotel
Shabby room, very tired decor with stained furniture Bathroom moldy and damp smelling grouping was absolutely filthy and stained Booked 2 deluxe rooms one had no coffee maker, no robes staff rude and unhelpful. Room smelt unpleasant Waste of money
Location of hotel was good. We could park our car to the parking place nearby and it was only ten minutes away from the historical center.
We preferred double bed room from booking.com. We checked in and we went to room, and it was two separate bed room. We went back to reception to ask if they could change the room they said that they do not guarantee room type while booking and they were fully booked. Lady said that if there is a cancellation she would inform us but later she did not get back to us any feedback. The gentleman in the reception tried to sell us breakfast from 15 Euro/person, and said the offer is only valid for the night he made the offer as normal price was 21 Euro. We could not decide first but then we decided not to have breakfast at hotel as we did not like the overall performance of it. Believe me it was a good decision since there are really cosy places with reasonable prices in town. We paid 23 Euro for two person for a good breakfast. Bathroom was not good at all. It was quite difficult to get reasonable temperature of water, it was either hot or cold to have the bath. Sink was designed badly or there was a technical problem with it, after using it everywhere got wet. Overall the hotel was not good at all. I would never stay this hotel again and if I had chance again I would choose smaller but cosier one.
