The comfortable room, good bathroom, good shower, excellent breakfast and despite the room facing Avenue Louise, we were not bothered by the noise. |

The hotel is very well placed for public transport. My room was huge and very quiet. It would have been nice to have tea-making facilities in the room. |

First and foremost, the excellent location. Avenue Louise is a statement of safety and class, with corporations, hotels, high-end shops... and no criminals! Moreover, upscale picturesque residential quarters nearby, where I once lived. Didn't need a car for the whole stay, as neat tram and buses stopped seconds away from the hotel and gave direct, quick connections to all key locations. Secondly, the service: apart from the efficient staff, everyday I had new amenities (towels, shampoo, etc.) even if I still had plenty to spare. The liquid soap for the hands had a fantastic herbal fragrance and felt so good. One of the little details that enhanced a business stay with a bit of charm, despite the negative aspects referred below. I strongly advice solo business travelers to book a double room. It's worth paying the extra price as it's far more spacious. By booking a single, you will most likely end up in a tiny room stuck in the back corner, unless the hotel has plenty of rooms to spare. Moreover, the room and hotel in general showed signs of needing renovation. In fact, while the décor might have been charming in the past, it now feels rather old and tired. The bed was rather poor and unstable (decades of extensive use - hope it will be replaced). The hotel has great potential. It just needs to address these key aspects. Anyway, for business effects, that's great. I'd simply never take my fiancée there with me, opting instead for a much finer hotel down the avenue. |

convenient location, free internet Was listed as a 4 star hotel ! this is a struggling 2 star, it is a false listing quite clearly. terrible rooms, dirty carpet, very basic decor, no english language channels on the TV, |

The hotel was small clean and friendly located off the main shopping (about a 20 minute walk) drag of brussels with a very cute artsy neighbohood just a 10 minute walk away. getting to town was also very easy with a tram right outside which took you to more or less anywhere. a taxi was only 10 euros to the city as well breakfast was a bit pricy for 13 euros but we found a super shop and go directly opposite with everything we needed including take away coffee!! |

The size of the room, the free wi-fi access, as well as the easy access to public transportation. It is surprisinf that a four star hotel does not have any kind of room service or, at least, a place (vending machine) to buy something to eat or drink... |

I really like the friendly staff. Room size was good. Not towards the hotel, but I found that the hotel rating was a lie. This was not a 4 star hotel, it is more like a 2 star hotel. I was really disappointed when I arrived. |

The room we stayed in was very large for only euro65 per night, amazing value. It was modern and clean. It was central close to cafes etc. I was told it one of the poshist streets in brussels. It also had underground parking for euro15 per day. Breakfast was also good with eggs, bacon etc including the usual cereal toast coffee etc |
