No central heating in bedroom on both nights No hot water for shower on the first morning It is obvious that this hotel is in desperate need of renovations and new décor
No warm water 3 our of 4 mornings..
needs updated, not at all like presented in the photos, does not deserve the 4 stars.
Size of the room. Wifi. Location. Staff.
Looks tired (carpets, cupboard...)
Reception area and breakfast area very good, staff very helpfull
Decor was a bit tired, bathrom needs an upgrade
Very decent breakfast. Staff was very helpful. Rooms are very big.
Hotel rooms need a bit of refurbishment as they have an old look. It would really boost the hotel's image if the old loose furniture was scrapped and a more modern look was applied. Even the bathrooms need a good refurbishment as they look very old.
- room was old and not even 1 star hotel - wifi , depends where you are located in the hotel - waited 1 hour for a taxi... - not in the city center
The location was good for my visit to the Free University of Brussels.
The sink did not drain properly.
Quick service from staff
Was advertised as a 'smart deal' cos it has 3/4 star hotel status. But it must get that for location because inside it was more like the kind of place where stateless people have to wait while their claims are heard. There wasn't quite paint coming off the walls but it wasn't too far off. Not cosy in the slightest.
Staff hotel needs to renovate
Big Rooms and Beds
Towel left me covered in fluff!
No hot water first day, same problem of 1 month ago although 2 day hot water was available. Maintenance however cannot continue on a day by day basis when things go wrong, the whole hotel needs to be re'examined in detail.
Size of the room and beds. Staff was great. Room was clean. Close a very nice park.
Hard to say as we spent very little time at the hotel (just to sleep).
The size of the room was very good. Huge bed that was comfortable.
The floor and room that I was in needs to be rennovated. It wasn't bad but starting to show the years.
i like the view, warm enough for the winter.
there was no warm water in the morning. We took a shower with cold water. A strong smell of cigarette inside the room
Location is great. Tram station right outside. Car park is secure and under the hotel. Overall great value hotel.
Bathroom had no ventilation and the ceiling was a bit mouldy as a result. Despite this it was clean enough. Bed was OK but duvet was a bit old. More 2 star than 4 star.
Rooms are so old style, bed and sheets very cheap, furnitures are super ugly and is not a 4 stars hotel, maybe a 2 stars but maybe...
standard is decreasing at this hotel
NO hot water last time and the desk knew it and did not tell me. This is totally unacceptable. Also Internet is poor connection. Standard of rooms between 6th floor and 3rd floor are enormous but price is the same.
Good service for price, nice staff.
Poor wifi signal
Nice street , Super market and public transport stops very close. friendly and helpful staff. Good shower.
stains on carpet , poor WIFI signal in room. net curtains stained.
Moving me to a bigger room when i complained. Located at nice street.
The room cleanliness is not to good standard. The WiFi was so poor! Location is a bit far from centre. No coffee or tea facilities in the room
- private parking in garage right under the hotel is available at extra charge, but you will be sure your car is safe - room was like on the pictures - very comfortable bed - black out curtains - spacious bathroom - female receptionists who were on duty when we were leaving were very pleasant
- when we arrived the night receptionist (older man) was just being very rude to one guest at the reception. When our turn came, we got the same attitude from him, which gave really bad first impression of the hotel - a bit too far for a walk to the city, but ok if you stay just for a night or two, otherwise you might wanna choose more centrally located one - after the cleaning lady cleaned our room, the lightbulb didn't work, but nobody came to change it even the next day when we were leaving
First of all, we booked very last minute, barely 24h before our trip and asked for a silent room (being aware that the hotel was almost full that week end) which we received and were very grateful for it. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful! They also spoke to us with little to no effort in english, italian and french! for the rest, I'll say our stay was wonderful, the hotel is in a great neigboorhood, lively yet calm and safe, the rooms were also very spatious.
Honestly nothing, if I really have to say something - otherwise my review might sound too perfect and fake - is that the elevator of the hotel is from the 70s so it looks a little bit sad. So, unless you're alergic to 70s-looking elevators you're probably going to love your stay.
