room facilities clean, and comfortable -- wifi excellent strength enabling me to work on business - great value accommodation
Amazing facilities, good balcony, nice kitchen, comfortable beds. It's very stylish.
There is not a single thing saying "City Center Appartments" anywhere!, this is really bad if you arrive late in the night or raining or both. You get there and have no idea what to do. And it's cash only.
Location, price, decor, window
No toilet roll, cleaning products and few utensils.
good wifi connection
Late check in because the apt was not ready yet (it was the same also for other guests) Reception door always closed Check out not possible before 9 (even on request)! Shower massively loosing water and making noise 24h
The apartment was lovely and excellent value for money
The service was not very friendly and when I requested a taxi be ordered for 2 days time it never turned up-also internet Wi-Fi was non-existent
the location and big aparts consediring their price
beds were unconfortable and dirty
Great location and comfortable apartment, felt like home
The room was impressive in terms of architecture and space. Simply fabulous!
Very cosy and quiet room for reasonable price. Highly recommended! Leszek, Poland
Very surprised, for such a budget accommodation it was very spacious and comfortable!
Nothing, it was perfect. (Except needed a tv).
I liked our spacious and beautifully decorated the place was.
The wifi was very weak and hardly worked. The taps in the kitchen didn't work and there were a fair few spiders around the place. Cleanliness could have been better.
Location of hotel close to tram line.
Every evening internet falled down.
Very quiet, clean, and comfortable. Staff were friendly enough, and room was in very good condition!
Shower did not drain, but surely would have been fixed if we'd stayed longer than one night.
We didn't mind the location of it. It was roughly 10-15 minutes stroll into the heart of the hustle and bustle of everything. we enjoyed the walk as we never took the same route twice. You cannot get lost which was a benefit as we always had landmarks that we looked out for. When out at night we did get a taxi back which cost roughly 8-12 euros but worth it. There is a great restaurant at the top of the street which serve great food or a nice place to sit just with a drink. The staff here are lovely and engaging and food is fab. We looked for the place on google maps first before leaving home and thankfully we did and would recommend anyone else do the same. It is a quite area and nothing to complain about. A few corner shops, restaurants and wine bars nearby and nice to walk around. That's where all the nice things I have to say ends. I didn't even mention the accommodation ........ We will go back to Brussels but just not here.
Right where do I start? No tv. We knew the building that the "studio apartment" was in otherwise we would never of found it. For any unfortunate person braving going there it is no34. We looked for the place on google maps first before leaving home and thankfully we did. There is no signage to say where the place is as it is in a residential area. Plus the buzzer to get the attention of the "receptionist" is on the wall on the street and not at the door inside the opening. Also there are 10 steep steps the minute you get through the door to humph your luggage down. This area is not always greatly lit and can be a bit tricky. On the way round to the lift all kind of looks great but ends. Hope no one gets the key for room 311! Once out the lift on the 3rd floor we get to the room....... once inside the "studio apartment" - that looks nothing like the photos or the written information description - we come into the bedsit from hell. The floors were needing cleaned - oh yeah so did the walls, the bathroom and everywhere else. Don't expect to have a shower. The is one but no curtain or a holder for the showerhead. Bathroom ended up soaked. There was a huge crack on the sink, the toilet was black and all stained, taps were all caked in something. Take your own towels for the whole time you are there as housekeeping is obviously something they know nothing about. We were there 3 nights and not once did we have anything changed or bins emptied. The towels, if I can call them that as I am still not too sure, were awful and like sand paper. More time and effort was put into hoovering the hallway outside the door, which did not shut properly, that I have ever heard anyone hoover one bit of carpet before. I can say that there was no noise from other people - maybe because there wasn't any, but i'm not too sure!
Staffs are incompetent and unprofessional. No receipt provided for payment of accommodation, issues with the apartment we're ignored, no effort to resolve issues, etc.
This small set of hotel rooms (because that is what it is, don't let anything fool you) is valued at the price you pay. It has a great location near several metro stops and within a kilometer of nearly every tourist destination in Brussels. There are modest kitchen facilities in the rooms (but why would you, when there are thirty restaurants in a few minutes walk) and a washer and dryer available for the entire building.
I have never paid up front in cash for lodging even at a hostel, so don't be surprised when this is required. There is also absolutely no refund for canceled plans, so choose accordingly. When I mentioned my concern to the manager on duty, I was met with amazement. Also, while he repeatedly claimed that the booking reservation said cash-only (it does), the reservation does also claim to accept credit cards. The rooms are no larger than a typical hotel room and the facilities in them are slightly medieval; don't expect anything more than particle board, burned tables, and lime-encrusted shower heads. Most things seemed strictly sanitary and the bedding was clean, but there was very little care or money put into any of it. Lastly, the wifi, while existing, was incredibly unreliable and unsuited for any task more bandwidth-consuming than email and Facebook. I would not recommend this location to anyone other than the truly budget-conscious or those who are just looking for a pallet to sleep on.
fell as at home. Silence. Good sense of security. A lot of dining places around the corner.
very small details worth fixing and minute investment For those who have problems with steep stairs, a sleeping place in the upper part of the room could become a problem.
walking distance to the city center
the room looks tidy and its just like your own house. It locates at the commerical area so that it is a location near central but it has not much noise especially at night.
I would say only the pillow was too flat and wifi not very stable.
It was all good, average but nothing exceptional.
Extremely poor wifi connection.
Located just along the major thoroughfare of Brussels but set in a quiet neighbourhood with peace and quiet. The central train station and tourist city centre just located about 15-20mins walk away Having a studio for a good price.
Was difficult, especially while lugging my backpacks in the rain, trying to find the main door with poor signage.
Good central location. Value for money, considering the prices in central Brussels.
Rate has to be paid in cash on arrival, major pain in the back when you rely on credit cards. Pisses you off big time when you have just arrived and you are tired, that you have to walk off to the next bank to get a couple of hundred Euros. Apparently it is mentioned on the booking confirmation. But when you book a hotel in the developed world, you just don't expect such mafia practice. Wi-Fi did not work reliably. When it works, it was fast, but sometimes it just lost connection and it was difficult to re-connect (3rd floor).
Location, tranquilty, price
Internet was very, very poor Kitchen and bathroom equipment and arrangement are rather basic. Information should be given that kitchen and bathroom are on mezzanine with steep access probably with access difficulty for disabled.
