- Beautiful and comfortable big Room - Nice breakfast
Rooms are beautiful and spacious. The house is near the Center of Brussels. I was feeling like at home arriving at any time.
Quaint little apartment.
Location is in red light district - a lot of women waiting on the street corners and on the doorstep to the building. Bath needs cleaning.
The room is like a studio or small apartment, quiet large and comfortable. And the area is not that bad, right next to the Flemish theater (you can just ignore prostitutes and pimps on the streets, they won't mess with you). Owners were nice and very helpful, and replied emails right away.
I find the price a bit too high, but lodging in Brussels is generally expensive. It would be nice if breakfast included fresh fruit (instead of canned).
I like a lot the kindness, amiability of Cedric and his wife, Magali. I have to mention also the permanent support accorded whenever we need
Guest service provided, spacious room, hospitality
Extremely helpful and generous hosts. Spacious and cosy rooms + bath. Colourful neigbourhood.
stylish interiour close to town centre
location in the middle of a red light district poor shower
Unit close to metro stop and in reasonable walking distance of central city. The unit was spacious, well furnished and had all the amenities for self catering. There was no staff on site, but all request for info were promptly answered via text.
Hadn't realised at time of booking the unit was on a corner noted for street prostitution. It was impossible to walk to the unit without being solicited, but I never had sense area was unsafe.
The room, plus hall with kitchenette and bathroom was ideal for a short stay, nicely decorated, comfortable, clean.
The area really cannot be recommended for a solo female traveller. The accommodation is on a street where prostitutes wait for clients, at all hours of the day and night.
The unit was nicely furnished and had a large bathtub.
Solicitation for prostitution occurs night and day on the street on which this "B & B" is located. I could not walk down the street without being harassed. There is no staff on site. One does not have a key to the premise-only a digital code, this includes one's room. There is no way to feel secure on the site- the code information could be obtained too easily from another patron of the site. As a solo female traveler this was an incredibly uncomfortable, and frankly, scary experience for me. I have never had such an unnerving travel experience- granted I have never been in an active warzone either...
I wouldn't say it was 'fabulous' but rather a pleasantly decorated upper floor apartment with large bedroom, kitchette/dining room and bathroom. Basic cooking facility, with twin hot plates, microwave, coffee machine and kettle. Nice warm croissant & pain au chocolat for breakfast.
Had to balance kettle on edge of sink, due to position of electric socket. Bath rather old. A bottle of cooking oil would be useful. Milk (as opposed to cream) for tea would be nice.
