I think for what you get the price is just a bit high. The area is one in transition and the jury is out as to whether the transition is upward or down. This was my second time staying and the number of prostitutes loitering outside has grown exponentially. To be fair, they didn't try to interact with me and I did not ever feel threatened. Also the owners have camera's trained on the street and monitor for trouble.
Inside the flat is fine--the bathtub could do with a bit of a re-enamel as it looks dirty (I am pretty sure it was not).
The pillows provided are really uncomfortable (have a bad neck after a week), and given the price of the accommodation and the neighbourhood a higher value set of bedding would have made up the difference a bit.
Breakfast is fine if you like bread. There was 2 cartons of yogurt for the entire week, but every morning three types of bread were provided along with some sliced fruit loaf, a plastic container of fruit cocktail a box of OJ, sugary cereal, and long life milk. Again for the price it would have been nice to have had something fresh that was not bread.
This is a good apartment with pretty much all you need if you are travelling and plan only rudimentary cooking, but want the possibility. The main things going for it is that it is spacious, nicely decorated, and the people who own it are very nice and aim to accommodate. The beer that is left as a welcome is really a lovely touch.
