Golden Tulip Brussels Airport Hotel  

I stayed at the Golden Tulip Brussels Airport, and was the worst experience I have overall with hotels in this category. Room with walls filled with humidity, furniture with rotten wood along the floor, the floor of the bathroom down the to...ilet stained, some broken tiles to, only half of the tv channels available on the list was presented, and the mini bar? A joke, with two mini bottles of water. I requested another room but I only could change in case of paying a fee. After asking someone to see the room, they gave me another room with the same problems but at a smaller scale! I felt completely rip off

Good bar and restaurant - friendly and helpful staff.

Waiting 45 mins for the hotel's airport shuttle when it was -1 degree.

Convenient to the Airport, but far enough away to avoid the noise. Convenient to nato (or it would be if they would get the commune to sort out foot access during the building work) Coffee facilities in the room were good. Snack food in the bar was excellent.

Paying for car parking in this modern age of the car just seems to be a way to increase the room rate without saying so. If the concern is people parking there who are not using the Hotel, issue parking tickets as you do now, but validate them for free on production of your room key. While the location is good for the airport and local business, it is unlikely to be selected by people who are dealing with business a little further away and are using either a hire car or their own car to get there. This is the one issue that would stop me recommending this hotel to other people

I appreciated your kind staff; they were so polite and helpful. Thomas was especially kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet was wonderful.

Very nice personnel and comfortable rooms. The presence of sport facilities in the hotel is a definitive advantage.

The fact that Internet access is not free is old-fashioned; this should be considered a free commodity for a hotel that targets modern (business) travelers.

The room was very clean and well decorated. The lobby was also very hip. The bathroom had a tub, which I appreciated. I enjoyed the hot tub and steam room.

The staff are a bit cool. The restaurant is... Not that great. And it is offensively expensive.

It was near the airport,with shuttle s to the airport.... And we could park uor car for a week..

It is not possible to open windows.

The Double bed was too narrow there wasn't free wi-fi in the hotel room

I stayed two separate occasions for one night each. The first stay, my friend and I arrived at the hotel at 8:30am and they were kind enough to let us check in so we ended up getting a few hours sleep after an overnight flight. Both stays were fine. Also, like the fact the hotel shuttle would take you to and pick you up from the airport for free allowing you to take the train into the city and not have to use an expensive taxi (5 Euros vs. 40 Euros) Tip for others....the wireless internet in the room has a steep fee but you can plug the internet into your computer for FREE using the plug that is on the desk!!!!

THe only issue was the first stay...the scheduled airport pick up at 7:45 never arrived so we were left stading outside for 40 minutes instead of 10 and it was rather cold.

Nice stay. I thought the fitness center was rather small and could use weights and pilates equipment. The staff was really nice. The hotel is really well situated with respect to the airport and NATO but not well placed from the city center.

The staff are helpful and respond promptly to requests for assistance. The room is comfortable and stylish and the restaurant food is good.

The expensive extra charge of 24 euros per day for a breakfast buffet - an easily refused option. Unavailable facility: the swimming pool is currently empty.
