Staff was courteous and friendly. Bed was comfortable.
Room was older looking and smaller than the pictures represented. Breakfast was NOT worth the price at all! bathrooms need to be renovated and are not currently the most ergonomic.
Location Parking available
Room smellt smoky Hotel is quite old
Small beds Asked for non smoking and room smelled of smoke No air conditioning
Staff reasonably friendly
Poorly decorated, in need of renovation, badly maintained (shower taps hanging off the wall)
Clean rooms Comfortable beds
No Air Con Reception staff not very friendly Booked two rooms and wifi code given ONLY for one device
Was close enough to walk to restaurants and bars and as was only for 1 nights passing through it suited our needs
Food is excellent. The room is proper and the personnel are very friendly.
When the electric was down (brown out) in the morning we could'nt drink warm koffie, thee or cold juices.
helpful male receptionist sat afternoon. comfy beds, clean hotel.
sauna etc wasnt turned on, you have to ask at reception desk and wait 1hr to be ready, hotel 1hr on train to centre of Brussels. across rd on going building site, quite sat nite and sun am, no work men.
It is a good 3* hotel.
Workers in the building opposite the hotel started to make noises at 6.30 a.m.
The room / suite was a nice size and quite
The restaurant closed early at 9pm and nowhere we could find were the actual working hours written.
Close to town location but quiet neighbourhood. Staff were friendly.
The room smelt of smoke. Someone entered my room in the middle of the night using a key card. Once they realised I was awake they apologised in English and ran away down the corridor before I could see them. As a lone female traveller I would not feel safe staying here again.
you get what you pay for it was good value for the money.
the area. also there was work in progress which started at 7.40am- a bit much I think as our room overlooked the road where the works were taking place. should have been told when booking - would have booked elsewhere. also, someone tried the door to our room at 5.00 a.m which woke me.
much too hot, noisy, no double bed
Restaurant Service was excellent!
Locaqtion was not optimal, but okay for a nights accomodations
The hotel was absolutely fine and the staff very pleasant.
Unless you have to go to Charleroi, avoid it like the plague! My god what a dump. A more run-down place would be hard to find. Apart from a few very dodgy looking people and prostitutes, the streets are deserted at night- you've been warned!
Arnaud on reception, so helpful. Room very nice, clean and comfortable. Location is ideal for walking - 5 mins from nearest shop and bar, 7 mins from town centre, 10 mins from railway station. Excellent value for money for the price we paid per night.
Only downside was very expensive to eat breakfast here (so we didn't) and hairdryer could be better.
We have used this hotel every year for about ten years, the staff have always been good and the accommodation is clean. We bring a group of young gymnasts for a competition in the town and every effort is made to accommodate us on the same floor.
There is often a smell of smoke upon entering the rooms, and the breakfasts are very expensive though free for under 12's.
