Great breakfast buffet We asked for a non-smoking room but you could smell that the room was actually a smokers room. (there was also an ashtray on the table, a bit strange for a non-smokers room...)

We stayed here twice in 2011. Wonderful location - easy walk to town center or train station, on a canal, and with a view of a great looking gate. Nice and helpful staff - especially the front desk and breakfast staff. Terrific breakfast - excellent selection and lovely settings. Family room a tiny bit cramped for four people but ok.

Pricing and perfect breakfast It's a 3-star hotel, rather than a 4-star... Free parking is limited to 2-3 places (underground parking is not free)

The room was in the 7th floor and it was huge! It was like a small apartment and so nicely decorated the for me what counted in the hotel was that the room was so marvelous that even in the evening we decided to stay in and enjoy a glass of wine in the room

Because of the roadworks, it was really noisy. Also when entering people during the night, it was noisy. When checking in at the hotel at night, bar was already closed...

Location just a short, but refreshing walk a way from the city centre Atmosphere, appearances, facilities and quality of service combined would make a very good 3 star hotel, but a poor 4 star hotel.

Hotel restaurant is really good. Room was ok. Room was ok, only the shower door does not closing tightly, so it was water everywhere after taking shower.

The friendly and helpful staff were accomodating with finding directions to locations and offering advice. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. The construction on the street made it a little tricky to get to.

We liked nothing why left one day earlier. Reception is durk not made for wheel chairs custumers your breackfast buffet is not invitting, the room 56 is very small the bed very small , and very hot

The staff were very helpful and friendly,and all were multi-linguel.The room was large and airy with a large bathroom.The city centre was 1k walk away although the time there was a lot of construction going on to the roadinto the city.The station was only 10 mins away with a walk along the canal.The food in the hotel was excellent and well worth trying.I Would stay there again.

'Like best' is difficult as the whole experience was excellent. Our room was very large, light and comfotable. The staff were verynice and the breakfast was one of the best. BUT the problem they have,and it has nothing to do with Best Western,is that they are in the middle of a road refurbishment scheme which makes the hotel look as though it is on a building site. Its really no problem but does throw you when you arrive.The hotel copes with it very well. It is important to use their alternative route to the hotel which come with their booking confimation.

Hotel (room, restaurant etc) was clean. Staff were kind. Breakfast was nice. There was a party at the bar and little noisy. Construction in front of the hotel. Parking spaces were few.

Walking distance to town centre. On-site parking. First bed I've slept in where I didn't wake up with back ache! Shower. Single panel screen meant water went everywhere.
