Breakfast was included in the rate. Because I was checking out the following morning prior to breakfast being available, the staff deducted a portion of my evening meal from the total cost of the stay! No one has ever done this at any other hotel I have stayed at, whether in the States, South America or Europe, Bravo!!!

Very close to McAuliffe Square and super friendly staff who helped us find what we wanted to see in Bastogne. Also provided a great crib for our baby. Free breakfast was also very nice.

Stayed at Hotel Melba primarily for location near Battle of the Bulge sites. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good (try to get there early as food is not replaced). Short walk to town square. Free on-site parking.

I loved this Hotel. Great location , very friendly helpful staff, good breakfast, many amenities . Excellent free parking if your coming by car. Only downside was the building work being carried out on the hotel which was a bit noisy. Once this is finished i cant fault this hotel.

The hotel is exceptionally maintained. The family rooms are very spacious. The bath/shower facilities were great. The breakfast was terrific. The lady who worked the desk whom I believe was the owner did a fantastic job at accommodating our very large group (24). The location is perfect. Fantastic hotel! I would rate this the best European hotel I have stayed at in my 1 1/2 years stationed in Germany. Even the beds, although European, were quite comfortable. I would fully recommend this hotel! The only negative aspect was the man who worked there. I believe he and the woman are married, own the hotel and live on the premises. He was extremely rude and had absolutely no customer service skills.

Very clean and comfortable. Free computer in room utilizing a large flat screen tv as monitor. Awesome! Undoubtedly the hardest working staff I've seen in a very long time. Friendly and accomodating. Nice bar with fireplace. Great selection of Belgian beer. Very strange shower doors. Take them down and get a curtain.

Really good hotel with some recent history relating to "Band of Brothers" apparently Spielberg stayed there incognito prior to filming. Also good information relating to the Bulge fighting. The hostess spoke good english and helped us with local information. Excellent breakfasts. Would go again.

Excellent family run business. Very patient with us and all of all questions that they must recieve endlessly regarding the Battle sites. :):) I I reccommend when they change the carpeting in the room to change to a flooring instead.

Very good location, just far enough from the town centre so you are away from the noise, but close enough to walk out. The people who run the hotel were very friendly. My only fault would be that the evening meals were abit expensive

The staff. Everyperson who worked in the hotel was an outstanding host right from the moment we walked in. We were greeted by the desk staff who had all of the necessary paperwork complete and ready for us. The breakfast staff and the bar staff were also excellent. It was a pleasure to stay at the hotel Melba in Bastogne and I am pleased to recommend it to all future customers. Thank You from George and Norah Ward

the design of the shower screens in the bath is very poor.they will not properly pass the taps and when i used the bath mat it slipped from under me and i collided with the shower screen which jammed against the taps and i cut and severely bruised my leg in the bath.
