Really - nothing bad to say. Good hotel, perfect location for a history tour, unique hospitality. Reach breakfast. Good restaurant, and very near to city square . Strongly recommended!

Just because you asked - we did not have air-condition in the room, but since we were in May we really did not miss it...

They must have just renovated this hotel because everything was new. Very clean, great breakfast, parking on site.

The location to downtown and sites is perfect. It is literally around the corner from the small 101st museum. It is only a few blocks from the main square with the restaurants and tourist information building. They have free on-site parking which is really nice. The breakfast is very good with a nice variety. The real gem is the restaurant in the hotel. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant (which is open from 7pm-9pm) and it was amazing. Everything was so fresh and full of flavor. I highly suggest having dinner at the hotel. The room was a decent size.

Staff was outstanding and helpful. Felt like I was visiting a friend's home, not a hotel. Room was comfortable, clean, had plenty of space, good toiletries, adequate plugs. Included breakfast was plentiful.

A nice hotel .

There was nothing I didn't like.

It was undergoing renovations but the hotel was kept immalucate.

We asked about an evening meal at approximately 4.30pm and it may have been a language problem but the gentleman at reception said he would ask his wife when she returned in half an hour., So we felt that she would only be cooking for us. In the morning we had not noticed that they had an extensive restuarant, advertise in one lift but not the one we used. This was unfortunate as we had a meal out and had a bad experince.

Great hotel to stay for any WW2 study tour. Very clean and good service.

Great location- one block from the old town square. Great rooms, great value. Everything was clean, and the front desk was friendly. Free wifi and free parking- I would definitely stay there again!

The staff at the Melba were great and offered a lot of information on the historical sites in the area. The dinner we had at the hotel was the best we had on our trip. Don't pass up the opportunity to stay there.

We were traveling with our son, so there were three of us.The hotel was booked when we arrived, but they gave us a family suite at the same price as the triple I had booked. The hotel is lovely and the staff was awesome. We will always have fond memories of our stay.

We loved everything!

The hotel was in a perfect area allowing access to the many attractions within the city. The staff was the friendliest I ran into during my travels in Europe, and the food at the hotel was wonderful! I would suggest every American pay a visit to Bastonge to honor the men that fought to defend the town. They are true national treasures, and the city of Bastonge does an excellent job of thanking and honoring them men that would not surrender their city to the German Third Reich.

A very welcoming hotel after a long drive. Arriving stressed out after long traffic jams on the autoroute in Belgium, I found the hotel comfortable, relaxing, and very professionally run. A good place for me to stop over on the journey to Germany, and an interesting little town, which I will explore in more depth the next time I stay. It was also nice to have a drink from the mini-bar without feeling ripped off. A good breakfast too.

Located in a quiet spot just 2 minutes walk from the lively town center. Friendly & helpful staff and good sized comfortable rooms.

The cleanliness of the facilities

Having drove for four hours I found it rather annoying to be told I couldn't eat in the restaurant that night ! Surely you must be able to cater for your guests ? Having to walk the streets to try to find somewhere to eat is not what I expect from best western

Fridge not working in my room, a minor issue.

When we first checked in, the woman at the front desk was very helpful in letting us know about things to see and do in the area. One recommendation that we followed and would also recommend is visiting the military barracks there in Bastogne. Even though we did have our own computer with us, it was convenient having Internet access right in the room with a computer set up with the tv being the computer monitor. This would be especially helpful for someone who does not have their own computer with them. They do provide a good size fan in the room, which was helpful along with leaving our window open some since unfortunately there is no air conditioning. Breakfast was reasonable. This hotel is within 5 minutes walking distance of the town square where you can find many restaurants. The hotel has free parking where you can park right in front of the hotel.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms, however they did have a decent fan.

Very nice rooms with a friendly helpful staff looking to accommodate you in any way they can. I would stay there again in a heart beat.

The hotel was just a block down the road from the Bastogne city square and travel office; it was a perfect distance for walking to museums, restaurants and seeing downtown.
