Very convenient for city centre. Breakfast was included in my price, but I found it disappointing. The scrambled egg was quite clearly made from powdered egg, both in taste and texture.

Very central to the city, very good breakfast and comfortable rooms. The wing we were in was recently refurbished to a good standard other than the walls were not at all soundproofed and in consequence we could here everything the couple in the next room were doing! TV channels were limited no English

Location was just perfect for seeing the town. Dispite it being -7c degrees outside the hotel and room were lovely and warm. The room (151) was very spacious having it's own seating area almost qualifying as a suite. Staff were all very friendly and helpful (spoke good english) and the parrot is a star! The breakfast was a little disappointing as the only cooked option was often nearly cold. The rest was of a good standard though. As other people have commented, why have a shower fitting that you cannot attach to the wall? Not having tea/coffee making facilities in the room was disappointing. No robes available. The spa area was dark unwelcoming and the changing area very public. We did not use it at all

All the staff were very efficient and helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of fresh bread, pastries, croissants, eggs, cheese and meats. There was also hot bacon and scrambled eggs. Champagne was available every morning but we only had some once to celebrate the New Year. Coco, the multiligual parrot usually welcomed us each with a "Good Morning" which was fun. The room was large and comfortable and the location perfect for sightseeing in the City. We had pre-booked parking so it was very convenient to park in the underground car park and, although it cost15 euro a night we thought it was well worth it in the City Centre.

Everything was excellent, but the highlight was really the Parrot. It is more a suggestion, but the scrumbled eggs were not good. It really seems like they were made of powder, not real eggs. It is true that it is more difficult to manage real eggs as they overcook. My sugestion would be to install a coffee machine to free some staff time. Then use this time to take orders for the scrumbled eggs. Otherwise, everything was really perfect and we just regret not been able to stay longer.

Excellent location, very close to all tourist areas. Staff very friendly, very accommodating wherever they could. Breakfast very basic, no variety, very boring after two mornings. Tired decor, lack of sound proofing in old building - noise travelled. Should not have been put in room below builders carrying out repairs - work started at 8.00 am including Saturday! Not 4Star standard.

Very pleasant, nice stuff, nice pool and sauna... In a double room it was 2 bed beside each other, instead of a king size bed. The beds were slipping away all the time, I was falling into the gap between the beds during the night, as I tried to grab my partner. :( else everything was fine.

Only the location. The hotel urgently needs refusbished and updated yet charges rates in line with other hotels in Bruges with a much higher level of accomodation and services. Rooms were cold with only one small wall mounted electric heater. No in room service apart from a mini bar. Hot drinks like tea or coffee only available from a vending machine in the disused hotel beauty salon on the ground floor.

Fantastic location, good sized rooms. The service at breakfast was unfriendly and not what I would expect from a hotel advertised as 4*. The rooms were oddly designed with a separate toilet right next to the bed which was a bit unpleasant. The only mirror we had in the room was in the bathroom which was inconvenient. No tea/coffee making facilities.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable...the boys especially liked their two-storey room (double bed upstairs, twin singles on a lower level), though the steepness of the stairs between the two levels would be a problem for less mobile guests. Reception staff were helpful and thoughtful and spoke fluent English. Oh, and the parrot in reception was a hit! "Wifi in every room" is rather a misnomer - in practice, you needed to be down in the bar area to get decent signal strength. Breakfast at Eur.15pp seemed quite a lot, but then we found eating in Bruges was expensive all round, so it may just be typical of the city.
