Calis is located in the historic center of Bruges, 1000 ft from the Markt. This intimate bed and breakfast features luxurious themed guest rooms with free Wi-Fi and continental breakfast. Wonderfully accommodating and friendly owners. Lovely, unique bedrooms each with quirky interesting features. Delicious breakfasts. Great location. Thoroughly recommended.

Very friendly staff. Laurence made us feel very welcome and was very helpful with advice on sightseeing. The breakfast was lovely and it was very nice to have it served in our room. Overall, it was a fantastic trip in a great city, staying in a fantastic B&B.

We got an extremely warm welcome. The rooms were clean and spacious and a bit wacky in their decor which we really liked as so many rooms these days are impersonal. We didn't mind the fact that the toilet was not in a separate room but part of the open plan bathroom but some may find it daunting. The breakfast was rdelicious, bread, rolls and pastries fresh, cheese and ham, yogurt and boiled eggs. Laurence our hostess was a bubbly kind and friendly lady, just what you need when planning your day. We would definitely return

Laurence and Daniel are wonderful hosts. Their Bed & Breakfast in many ways is more like a small intimate inn. They bring a wonderful breakfast to your room. The room is just lovely. We couldn't have been happier.

Very nice room, big and airy with different themes. We were in the African one. Really good for a romantic break. Massive comfy bed, and a delicious breakfast brought to our room every morning! The hosts offered us a warm welcome and good advice on attractions, food and drinks. What a fantastic stay! What are you waiting for to book??!! The noise of the streets late at night/early morning but this could be random so that might not always be the case.

Laurence and Daniel were wonderful hosts. They made our weekend special by having a surprise dinner and lovely birthday cake for my boyfriend. The room was the Marine room and located on the 1st floor. Nautical themed and was very spacious, with its own table for breakfast to be served to you. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone as I've stayed in quite a few B&Bs and this ranks very high for my standards. The hosts went out of their way to be accomodating and that in itself makes for a lovely trip. The restaurant had fair prices and the food was fantastic! Will definitely book again. The only odd thing was the toilet was slighlty tilted and the plumbing ran awhile unless you giggled the handle. Very slight issue in my mind, so why I rated it good vs excellent.

Communication with the hotel was fast and helpful. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the owner. Nothing was too much for her to make our stay better. The room was spacious and very clean. We liked the small touches of Africa: there was a lot to discover :-). In the morning breakfast was served in our own room. We have stayed in many hotels and usually the food varies from so-so to bad. Not in this hotel. We got fresh juice, nice yogurt, fresh bread, boiled egg etc. We are definitely going to miss this. The location is excellent: it’s right in the centre and a great starting point to explore Brugge. Everything was perfect for us. Although there are (some) minor details other visitors might complain about: like the lack of tea-and-coffee making facilities or the small tv. For us this didn't matter at all. The location in the centre comes with a price: at night time it can be noisy from people going out.

Es un Bed & Breakfaste pequeñito a menos de un minuto de la plaza principal. El personal es super atento, y muy simpático, y el olor que subía del restaurante que tienen en la planta baja era maravilloso. La habitación que nos dieron fue la africana, y era muy bonita. Espaciosa, , limpísima y con mucho encanto, el baño casi dentro de la misma, y con vistas a la calle que lleva a la plaza (Markt). Por la mañana nos subieron el desayuno y lo tomamos tranquilamente nada más despertar. La verdad es que una delicia: huevos duros, zumo de naranja recien exprimido, chocolate caliente, embutido, pan y bolleria riquisima, mermeladas...¿Qué mas se puede pedir? Los únicos posibles peros a este sitio son, por un lado, que la hora del Check-out es muy temprana, las 11 de la mañana, y por otro, que al llegar, la habitación estaba bastante fría, y aunque pusimos el termostato al máximo, tardo un buen rato en calentarse.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé l'accueil très chaleureux, l'idée originale des chambres à thèmes, le confort, le petit déjeuner très copieux en tête à tête dans la chambre et la localisation centrale mais très au calme. Nous avons également apprécié le restaurant très cosy. Juste à mentionner que dans notre chambre la salle de bain-wc était ouverte sur la chambre, détail que nous avons trouvé amusant mais à signaler tout de même. Merci à nos hôtes pour leur gentillesse et leurs supers conseils qui nous ont permis de passer un magnifique week-end en amoureux.

Gastvrij, perfect gelegen in de historische stad op korte loopafstand van alle attracties. Fijne sfeer, kleinschalig en met liefde opgebouwd. Nee, voldeed volledig aan ons doel en verwachtingen om een ontspannen weekend te beleven.

Locatie is super! Op enkele 100 meter van de Burg en Grote markt. Midden in het historisch centrum. Marine Suite is een mooie en ruime kamer. Beschrijving van de kamer doet meer verwachten betreffende de badkamer. Badkamer is echter heel OK! Maar verwacht niet teveel van het brobbelbad en de "regen"douche. Ontbijt beperkt zich tot de basis, is echter wel voldoende en vers.
