The hotel is very modern and very clean. The couple that owned the hotel were very helpful and attentive. They also spoke very good english. The food was excellent. The location was also very good for travelling to Menen gate and the war graves. The only thing that we weren't over keen on was the Lorry park at the front of the hotel, but it didn't bother us too much. It wouldn't stop me from booking this hotel again. |

I stayed in a hotel in de panne two years ago and because of the rudeness of the owner we said that we would never stay in belgium again.However. We wanted to go to the armistice at Menin gate and decided to give it one more try. What we found there changed our minds. The owners of this hotel coul not have been nicer. They made us feel very welcome with their openness and friendly attitude, the cleanliness was superb, and the man certainly knows how to cook. We would like to thank them for our stay and would like them to know that we will definately be staying there again. |

Very welcoming, well organised in getting into the rooms with a big group. Food was good and the staff very helpful. The hotel was very nice and clean with good decoration. As our trip was military history I found we were rather a long way from our destination of Ypres. Ithough that overall it was quite expensive. |

Owner(?)/Manager(?)s' young son playing in publice areas. Sometimes diverting parents from serving customers. En-suite took "wet-room" to new heirghts. Sign-posting from Ypres not clear. Basically, hotel ok but would not rave about it, so would not reommend it. |

The owners were extremely helpful and very friendly. We arrived very late and Kurt made us feel very welcome. We stayed in a quadruple room which was very spacious. The breakfast was lovely! Only one small point which has been mentioned before is a hairdyer and tea/coffee making facilities would be good in the room. |

The hotel itself was modern, very comfortable rooms, with in our case a beautiful view over open fields. The Owner was extremely helpful and very pleasant and welcoming. The initial impression belies the quality of the hotel , as it is next to an old customs point, lorry park and 2 petrol stations. Get past this, and the hotel is great. |

Friendly staff and a modern, clean look to the ample common areas (restaurant, lounge/lobby). The bedroom was small and felt a little like a cell (no carpet, basic furntiture, small TV mounted in the top corner of the room). |

Very clean, comfortable modern hotel. Would stay again. Staff very helpful. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed the sunday evening we arrived but there was a good alternative next door. Unable therefore to comment on the restaurant. |

Newly built therefore a very high standard of fittings in rooms, especially the bathroom. Continental breakfast fine. New leather suites in lounge area. Lovely views over countryside. Reasonably priced restaurant for evening meals. Would definitely stay there again. Minor things - a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities in room would be an advantage - though I took my own so no problem to me. A little difficult to find - if you have Sat Nav please type in Callicannesweg. |

Everything was well organzed. The owner contacted us shortly after the reservation in German and gave us a detailed plan of way. The buffet in the moring was perfec. Very friendly and capable staff. The parking of the cars in front of the appartments (backside). Thus the view on the lovely countryside was hindered. |

Owner staff very considerate & welcoming. Stayed in new wing completed to a high standard. Accommodation spotless and bed very comfortable. Room would benefit from having coffee/tea making facilities and a hairdryer. We located hotel easily as we know the road but some signs at the roadside would encourage even more business from passing traffic. Without any hesitation will stay at hotel again. |
