We had a great stay in beautiful Brugge and BB Camelias and we will recommend this BB. The BB is small with just a few rooms. Our family had room 1 on ground floor and room 2 on 2nd floor. Room 1 was huge and besides a double bed there was a couch, table and chairs, a kitchenette, a big bathroom including 2 sinks and still lots of space. Room 2 was smaller, but still large compared to many hotel rooms, and had a good relaxing chair. Rooms are very nice decorated. The owner is always around, he was very nice and helpful with advice on what to see, where to eat and daytrips in the area. There is a dog and a cat in the house, they are well behaved and no noise or problem at all. Very nice outdoor garden for breakfast and we could use it in the afternoon. Breakfast was very good with a good selection and lasted until 12 am which was great for us latesleepers. And if we missed something at breakfast the owner offered to buy it the next day. All the BB is very clean and towels changed every day. We even got extra towels for a daytrip to the beach. Very quiet neighbourhood and close to the center. About 10 minutes walk to the square, short walk to the shopping streets. Fridge in the room with free water and soft drinks at arrival.
Very little negative, this is a very good place to stay. Steep stairs, but not a problem for a normal fit person. Glass doors to the bathroom in room 1 is hard to see without any frosting and doors are not tight so damp from shower get into room and there is little privacy (but there is shades to put in front and another toilet in the hall right outside, so no big problem). In room 2 door was frosted and tight and no problem.
The location is excellent, just a short stroll into the centre. The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Lovely, large bedroom and delicious breakfast on pretty terrace area.
The WiFi signal wasn't brilliant. No air con
The owner is extremely polite and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and have a lot of space. Breakfast was also very nice. We really felt at home here!
I can't think of any bad things about it. There is no lift, but the owner takes care of the lugagge.
Everything! We have stayed in B&Bs all over the world and this one is tops on our list. Bodar is the most gracious and helpful owner we have ever met. Whenever you had a question or needed help, he seemed to pop out of thin air to be of assistance.
Huge rooms , close to everything, very clean , very polite , great breakfast very helpful staff
Liked it all
A lovely place to stay. Great welcome, very comfortable and breakfast very good.
We spent 3 nights in this b&b which is very near to centre of Bruges , infact i never used the car or public transport during my stay , we went to everywhere by walk. We were given 3 rooms , 1bedroom with a bathroom , 1 living room and a kitchen , we felt like being at home since we had everything we needed and we had privacy. Godo the owner is a real gentleman , he was always ready to help with everything we needed and every we asked about the beautiful Bruges. He even phoned us prior our arrival as we went a little bit late in the evening , and kept us a parking space infront of the house. At breakfast he prepared our table perfectly , and there was a good variaty of food. Every corner in the house was very clean and tidy. Of course this b&b deserves the high ratings that it have and surely i would recommend it to everyone who wishes to spend some days in he magnigicent Bruges . I would like to mention as well Luna the sweet dog of the owner which my kids are missing a lot. Good job Godo and thanks for everything
The host did everything he possibly could nothing was too much bother. We were greeted with a guide book and a very handy map.The room was the largest we had been to.It includes a fridge and large bathroom. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels. The breakfast in the garden was beautiful. In a quiet area but a short walk from the town square.Perfect.
Central location, beautiful room and excellent breakfast
Very friendly service, beautiful rooms, amazing breakfast buffet served in a relaxing backyard, walking distance from the city. I definitely can recommend this place if you are planning to visit Bruges. Value for money and definitely deserves the good rating it gets on booking.com.
Everything was excellent!!!
We travelled around Europe for one month and despite much more expensive accomodation elsewhere, B & B Camelias was the accomodation highlight of our trip. Everything was fantastic and great value for money. Bodo was the consummate host and met our train at the station. He collected our 3 large suitcases from us, drove them back and lugged them up the very steep staircase to our attic room. We walked an easy 10 minutes from the station to the B & B. The family suite in the attic had a separate lounge, kitchen, toilet, shower and bedroom with a king size bed and 2 single beds. There was a lot of room for my family of 3. The washing machine I noticed in the kitchen did not work but Bodo kindly offered to do our washing for us. The attic beams were lovely and it was great to wake in the morning hearing the pigeons cooing softly on the roof and the Belfort bells tolling softly in the distance. My son liked the chocolates on the pillows and the free soft drinks in the fridge. The attic accomodation is much nicer than it sounded on the web page and I would highly recommend it if you have more than 2 in your group. Breakfast was fantastic including home made jams and freshly squeezed orange juice. It was served in the beautiful back garden which has massive camellias. Luna the dog is on hand as always to collect any scraps dropped from the tables. The B & B is an easy 10 minute work to the tourist highlights around the Markt and in a lovely quiet street. Bruges itself is gorgeous and particularly lovely in the evenings when the day trippers have gone home. We did a lovely walk to the edges of the city in the evening and saw the sun set there in the parklands that ring the town.. There were 3 or 4 lovely windmills there. I would highly recommend this walk in the evening.
Despite Bodo's warning, I hit my head twice on one low beam in the attic. A sign warning might help? Otherwise there was plenty of headspace in the attic. There were also some mosquitoes at night if the windows were left open.
Great location. Lovely large suite. Would highly recommend !
Great location for exploring Bruges, Everyone was very helpful and always available without being over attentive. Good size rooms and comfortable large bed. Great shower.. Huge breakfast with lots of choice. One of the best b&bs I have stayed in.. Would recommend a visit to Bruges and staying here.

Lovely owners, comfortable rooms, and great breakfast!
I have stayed in many B&Bs and this one is perfect! Very hospitable host, excellent breakfasts, great location - near to centre in a quiet street, very comfortable and relaxing. Am going back next year!
The room was very comfortable, breakfast was amazing. Our host was so attentive and helpful. He spoke excellent English and the position is great as it is a short pleasant walk to the old city centre.
Very large room, with exceptional comfort, a wonderful garden and a very sympathetic owner with a nice family. Perhaps the best b&b we experienced in our Belgian trip. Highly recommended!
Breakfast was very good. Proximity to Gros Markt.
Great location and a lovely place to stay , nothing was trouble to the staff.
