Campanile Luik  

The efficiency of the Manager, the food which was good and ease of access and location. I`d recommend Campanile Luik but need to be honest about the quality of the furnishings in the rooms.

Budget accommodation is what we expected and overall our stay was fine. I would say though that the rooms do require a makeover and attention needs to be given to furniture ( some of ours was scarred by cigarette burns as a result of people leaving cigarettes on the edge of bedside cabinets. ) Overall we can`t complain as it served our needs on our way home from Italy after a long drive. The restaurant could have been warmer too.

I have stayed here several times. The hotel provides east access to the City (via car) and the regional road system. It is graciously staffed, charming and has an excellent small restaurant and bar. It is comfortable. Service is good. It is reasonably priced.

Cold room, heater not working.

They had a kettle facility in the room, the only hotel on the trip that did so big plus points to them. Some of the staff were very sweet and very helpful. The brown haired young lady in the restaurant and the dark haired young man at reception were very nice.

Felt rather letdown by this hotel really. We'd had to go outside of our budget for this as everywhere else was so busy and for 68Euro we expected a nicer hotel than the ones we'd been staying in. We didn't get it. The reception building was nice and modern, unfortunately the rooms weren'T. Old decor, old bathrooms but I suppose clean. The food was average, main meal was some sort warmed up pasta. Unfortunately the wifi didn't work properly, coverage seemed useless. All in all quite an expensive hotel for a musty, depressing 1970's room.

The staff were excellent, a very good team.

The rooms are small and have very limited ventilation (none in the bathroom) therefore the bathroom had a mold problem. The overall impression is that the rooms need modernising and improved cleaning program.

Water was luke warm, tepid - no hot water,

The only good thing about this hotel is the location right off the highway.

Alhtough location was right off highway, had to drive through a residential area to get to it. Value for the money was awful; stayed in a 4-star hotel in Brugges the night before for less money. Bathroom was clean, but mold and mildew on the tiles and ceiling--didn't even take a shower the next day. Room was small for a triple...single bed was pull out from under double bed and left little room for walking to bathroom. Food at restaurant was okay at best and overpriced. Floors were bare tile with no rug at all; room took hours to warm up.

L'hôtel est véritablement mal isolé, les chambres sont directement sur le parking. Le chauffage n'a pas su réchauffer la pièce. La sdb a été refaite et il restait plein d'imperfection comme la douche " à l'italienne" avec le voile blanc des carrelages + le miroir était collé avec de la mousse polyuréthane!!! à éviter sans aucun doute!
