hotel is located on a motorway rest area. No restaurant, meal is available in a self service or fast food joint.
Free parking in front of hotel Basic breakfast but fresh bread and cheese and meat: tastefull Lock of the door is new: new model, so safer
Toilet: too close to bath: narrow Old big tv Small room No coffee or tea facilities in room
- Staff was attentativ and helpful
- no (was empty) Soap in the Shower
Very hard to find! A big publicity pannel would help, in order to find this hotel! If you go there for the first time, take a look at the map and the directions to the hotel first!
The staff were very helpful and very polite Internet was good and rooms comfortable
It was out on a limb away from nice to visit areas
Being located at a petrol and truck stop services wasn't made clear in online descriptions I read. Fast food or old self service was all on offer. Wi-fi was very patchy. The parking wasn't well lit and close to a truck stop. I got two mosquito bites in November.
Restaurant was a typical motorway restaurant.
The beds were good, the breakfast was good.
I asked to get a quiet room and didn't. I asked to get separate beds and didn't. Also, the walls are very thin and our coughing neighbor was no fun to listen to the whole night.
Clean, good nights sleep and not expensive. I would stay again as a pass through, but not use the Hotel as an event or break.
The Hotel "restaurant" is part of the service station. A bit odd, but if you are a guest you get 20% off. This was not made clear on check in. We had a really good steak. You can by beer but not spirits, and after a day of riding I wanted a voddie. BYO.
Location close to the motorway
Badly in need of refurbishment inside and out. A gardener wouldn't go amiss either. As it is situated within a motorway service station secure parking would help. Judging by the broken glass on the floor there had been recent break in to some ones car!!!!!!!!!!
Right on E40, perfect for turning up at 2 am from a long car journey through Europe. Double bed was huge, our toddler slept with us and stayed for free. Nice breakfast.
Someone had smoked in our room in the past, not the hotel's fault but still not that nice to smell stale smoke.
It is in a service area on the motorway so an easy stopover for long journeys.
Directions are tricky. It is in a service area but may not be in the direction of travel. There are small signs showing where to go but they need to be bigger.
The room was great - clean, comfortable and quiet.
The location, in a motorway service area, next door to a fast food outlet was dreadful.
The breakfast and the happy staff
Easy access from motorway. Adjoining restaurant. Included breakfast
Decor looks rather dated and in need of brightening up
Smell of a dirty mopnoutbof the bathroom. No bar... reception by staff member was a little shy of hostile. Different staff when leaving was a world of good cheer.
we wanted a quite location near to our travelagency. The staff was very friendly.
The location was good. Very difficult to find intially as I did not realise that it was along the highway. The breakfast was good. When we arrived the hot food was finished but they brought what we wanted.
I booked for one adult and two children and we were given a room with two single beds. This was not the best for comfort but we eventually managed. They did give me extra pillows, duvet and towels.
Brilliant location on the E40 for the England side of the Brussels Ring Road. Very comfortable bed. We stay here every year en route to England. 2hours drive to Dunkirk ferry. Breakfast included-continental and hot. Will continue to use this hotel.
Not as new as the hotel the other side of the Ring Road-but the location suits us. Shower controls difficult-you must get the required temperature through the bath tap before activating the shower or you could be scalded as not possible to reach the bath taps with shower running due to fixed bath screen-we had to stand on a chair and poke shower head away with a coathanger.
Convenient near the freeway.
Really not worth the price, this hotel should not charge anything over 60 euros a night. Poor signposts in the freeway, even if it is close it`s not easy to find.
Rooms are fine and more quite than you would expect. Breakfast is a big+
The parking lot where you need to park your car looks unattractive at night and does not invite to step out of the hotel
Just off motorway.
Dirty carpets, room smelling of smoke. "Restaurant" is motorway style self service, food looked to have been standing and kept warm for a long time.
Cheap and cheerful
Shabby looks from outside, actually on the motorway
The rooms were Ok and met our needs. Bearing in mind the hotel location we were not troubled with motorway noise.
The address of the hotel did not really indicate that it formed part of a service area on the main Brussels/Ostend E40. We ended up visiting and wandering around the indicated town next to the motorway. Access to and from the site was poor without the aid of a Sat Nav.
Friendly staff Value for money
