The best point about this hotel is the location, which is 1 min walking distance to the Grand Place of Brussels. Other than that, it is a normal hotel with a beautiful facade and a decent indoors. The staff, though friendly, is not very reliable. Indeed, the night of my arrival, I was promised a taxi at 8:30AM in the next morning, which I needed to get to my meeting. Unfortunately, eventhough they confirmed the reservation, the taxi never showed up and the taxi company told them that no taxis were available...On top of that, the hotel does not have a "cash back" policy so you really have to go to the ATM...In the end, it is a decent hotel but no 4 stars. Location Room 501 was smelly, awful. The bedding smelt heavily of smoke. It should not be up to non-smokers to request a non-smoking room That should be given. Smokers should request smoking rooms and be far away from non smokers. |

It is very centrally located, especially for anyone wanting to make day trips to other cities outside Brussels due to its close proximity of the central station. It also offers a really good B'fast. The double bed had two single quilts instead of a big one which was uncomfortable. The linen was somehwat abrasive and not comfortable to sleep on, not of 4 star quality in an executive room. |

The location was excellent for the Grand Place and the breakfast was good. No tea or coffee facilities in the rooms, we had a double bed with 2 single quilts and the room was very cold. We had went to have a drink in the bar which was closed with no explanation, the staff were not very friendly and focused mainly on Business people. |
