Hotel Cascade Midi    

Good location close to Midi Station.Very good bathroom and the beds were comfortable.

No means for the weary traveller to make a cup of tea or coffee, or bottles of water.Need to improve if you really think you are 4 stars.

Convenient location for a stopover just a few minutes walk from Brussels Midi station. Quiet, comfortable room and good buffet breakfast.

The walk to the city centre involves some rather dubious streets and lots of heavy traffic.

Room was good size, beds very good, pillows not quite international.

No Tea or Coffee making facilities in room, bottles of water are always welcome.

Liked mostly everything, the food, the attention and the connectivity was on in the room, not in the lobby but that was ok.

I would have liked the staff to mention that the midi station was full of pickpocketers and thieves, as they commented there was a train to the airport. My bag was stolen just after entering into the station so this converted into a very expensive business travel. Obviously it was not their fault, but would have helped to know about how special this train station was so would have been more alert.

Clean, modern, near station, free WiFi, ideal business hotel. Best value-for- money hotel but with all facilities.

King size bed crowded the room.

Only a couple of mins from Gare du Midi, this hotel was not only convenient but also clean, very comfortable and centrally located. About 20mins walk from Grande Place. The booking had not been changed as requested from 2 doubles to 1 triple, but the receptionist (manager?) offered us a family room at no extra cost. A welcome decision, which made our stay even more comfortable than it would have been otherwise. We did not use any other facilities as it was a late check in and early check out.

Location - just across from Midi/Zuid station - especially useful for late arrivals or early departures by train/TGV. Choice of trams and metro to get around. Comfortable clean rooms. Did not have opportunity to sample Breakfast etc.

Surrounding area tend to shut down fairly early. Arrived just after 23:30 - bar closed, no mini-bar or tea/coffee making facilities in room had to go outside just to get some water.

hotel is in excellent location, only five minutes from midi eurostar train station( if you leave from right exit). hotel staff very helpful , arrived at 10.20 and are room was free and ready. hotel was very clean, and room was cleaned daily would stay here again if going by eurostar

Staff are very friendly and helpful and good English! The room is quite comfortable and clean! The facilities and location are excellent!

1. Location; 2. The extrabed was not ready on arrival; 3. The towels were not changed regularly; 4. Small room for a double with extrabed.

Air con not working

Proximity to railway. Easy walk into the city. Interesting neighbourhood.

The room was very clean and the staff, specially the domestic were polite. like the comfort of the room, well ventilated

The view at the back, it did not reflect the beauty of the place. From inside I was in the 5 * hotel not at the back.

Only that the area was not very good, but it was very conveniently situated close to Brussels Midi Station.

First night the air conditioning didn't work, and being late and not wanting someone to come to the room at that point, I had to open window facing train station (which was noisy). Then I discovered that there is a master control at the reception desk and probably a simple phone call would have fixed the problem. But, no one told us about how this works, and there were no instructions in the room that this is controlled centrally.

Great location. Short walk to the Grand Place and other attractions. Very close to MIDI station. Excellent security, well soundproofed and friendly staff.

Nearness to the Eurostar terminal & terminus for trams & Metro. Huge Sunday market literally across the road - reputedly the 2nd largest market in Europe! Secure luggage lockers - 4 euros.

Not a particularly pleasant locality, but less than 100m from the Metro. was a bonus.

Friendliness , great staff, location to Midi Station and also Grande Place.
