door is to hotel is closed at 12 olcok when you can come in to hotel then you must ring and weke up some guys "door guys" Stupid system
Availability of room, close to metro and not far from restaurants. Staff were helpful and pleasant
Breakfast was very average (awful coffee and re-hydrated scrambled eggs in particular). Carpet in room needed changing and bathroom a bit tired-looking. Overall in need of re-vamping
The staff do not provide any effort to help. For example, I asked them to order me a taxi (this is the minimum to ask in a 4 stars hotel)... As it was a strike day in brussels, there is an increased demand on taxi, so it will take them more time to make the order. They simply reply by saying that it is not possible to order a taxi today. I make the call myself and realize that it is indeed possible.
Perfectly comfortable, quiet, inexpensive.
Staff were not the most friendly!
Close to the metro, good for a short business stay.
I was given a room with defective windows, i.e. without heating. I had to request a new one. The room was clean, however it neads refurbishing (old carpet, bathroom).
The wifi worked well, the room was spacious and clean, breakfast was good. There were tea and coffee-making facilities in the room, which is always a plus. The location is very convenient, really close to the Munthof metro station.
My room had a no smoking sign on the door, but there was a very strong smell of tobacco smoke. The check-in was a little chaotic and personally I would say this is a decent 3-star but not a 4-star.
The staff were lovely, the room was big and well-appointed with a boig, comfy bed. The location was excellent for transit, shopping, food and noise leve.
Wifi was abyssal and that was a big problem for us
its location and its fair price.
NO Wi-Fi in the room, even though it should have functioned!!! At the reception desk, I was told twice that the problem would be solved, but it was a mere lie: a preposterous story about their server which didn't make any sense for a hotel situated in an European capital, not in the middle of nowhere!
Nice friendly guy on reception - made us really welcome.
Price-value was fair. The proximity to the metro was good. Some friendly staff. Room cleaning was well done.
This is a very dated hotel, desperately in need of an update. The friendliness of staff varied - some were nice, others not so much. The towels were quite worn, and the carpet was quite old and seemed stained. The duvet was so old it had formed into lumps. We asked to use a bottle open for our wine, and the reception said they didn't have one (how does a 4* hotel not have a bottle opener?)
Everything was excellent !
Breakfast is expensive
Very nice hotel which I would recommend
The wifi was not working that day. Breakfast starts at 8:00 too late for early workers
Helpful, polite and kind staff.
WiFi connection to the Internet was disappointedly bad. Practically, I did not have any effective connection to the Internet. From my point of view, it is quite intolerable for a hotel of such rank and price. Rooms need refurbishing. Door lock and cards showed problems in a daily use.
Comfortable bed, good wiif
The price should be displayed with all tax from the first. The price was expensive than I expected.
A very good location (close to the metro). Breakfast was also good and staff friendly.
Compliments to the staff, very professional, helpful and friendly.
Staff is friendly, rooms are big and the bed was nice.
Wi-Fi didn't work during my stay. Breakfast could be greatly improved for the price. Room had only one useable electricity outlet. Maintenance seems to be lacking. I've been in this place many times and generally was happy, but it seems to be slipping in the quality department.
Breakfast is not for 4 star hotels.
Hotel's staff was very helpful, close to Midi station.
Hotel management should change the beds, they were really uncomfortable.
Shower in bath with curtain; never a good thing... Breakfast is not great
Friendly and competent staff, good location, quite big room and bathroom, very good price, one would expect it to be more expencive considering the quality. I did not take the breakfast, but it looked OK
Everything was OK
Decoration of the rooms
the people with good sence of service for clients!
Unexpensive, WiFi is great, it is close to two metro stations, rooms are ample. I arrived at 10AM and still they checked me in and gave me a room! This is my go-to hotel in this area, I've been over 5 times already.
A/C is not great so in the rare case of a warm and sunny Brussels it gets stuffy in the room. Breakfast is just decent for the price.
Breakfast spread was too less and over priced!
