Generally a nice hotel, staff was friendly and competent. Good buffet breakfast.

The very friendly hotel manager, spacious room and central location of Hotel Catedral were assets. Good value for money.

The hotel room was a bit dark (too little lumen in the lighting) and the television resolution quality was of poor quality.

The lady in the reception was very friendly and helpful. She gave us maps and instructions about what is worth seeing. Our room was very spacious and clean.

Although there was wifi in the hotel, one have to pay something like 6euros for 2 our,which is unacceptable. The morning buffet costed 12euro per person.

It had a great location and a small hotel feeling. The owner was an excellent guide to the city. I will come back again.

The staff was very attentive to our needs, and spoke English very well. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk to the center of town, and a parking garage was conveniently located only 100 meters away from the hotel.

The motion sensing lights in the bathroom turned off at inconvenient times.

Noisy road

The hotel had a room for 3 people and the room was spacious for 3. Location for the old town was within walking distance of the hotel.Breakfast was very adequate and appearance nice.

The mirror in the bathroom was to tall for me to see anything. The hallway wasn't as neat in appearance as it could have been.

The very personal attention by the owners. They understand hospitality. No question went without a well thought answer given with a genuine hart.

Good location in the centre of ghent and nearby the trainstation gent-dampoort. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and big enough for a comfortable night. Great hotel for a citytrip. We also received a city map and some advice about ghent.

The welcome was warm and friendly. The buffet breakfast was copious.

The light level in the bathroom was much too low. There should be a light over the wash basin.

Helpful on reception, nice welcome, large comfortable room.

Bar and restaurant limited opening days.

Super little hotel with character, friendly & efficient staff, parking garage (pre book though) and 5 mins walk to the historic centre & restaurants - great value for money.

Doesn't have a lift (if this is important to you)

The person who met us was very friendly and helpful. The place was clean.

The hotel is very dated with ugly decor. There are no tea and coffee making facilities and the TV had no english channels. No facilities really. We found much better value the following night at the same price and in an equally good location.

The Bathroom was nice and clean. The Room was really big and enough for three People. The Breakfast was OK.

The Room is directly by a main street and its loud with open Window. The Parkplace cost 15 €!

Close to the city centre and main attractions. The room was absolutely lovely with a really comfortable bed and linens. Powerful shower and overall ease of use of the facilities.

there was what appeared to be a college across the ally way, and people gatherd there into the night so could be noisy whilst we were trying to sleep

Impressive room. Plenty of space. Bathroom with window that opens to keep it ventilated. Friendly staff. Early check in.

A lift would have made life easier, but the exercise will do you good.

Mooie kamer, vriendelijk en gastvrij onthaal

Veel lawaai in de kamer (bussen, auto's, en dronken feestvierders zorgden de hele nacht voor veel lawaai). Als we terugkeren willen we zeker een kamer die niet aan de straatkant ligt.

The location was good for the city and the secure parking excellent as we were travelling on motorbikes

we thought that the hotel was overpriced even though it was a city hotel

The propriator was very efficient. The meals were delicious with many choices. Being on the street, however, it was a bit noisy. We will stay there again with no doubt!

No lift for seniors. difficult to bring up the luggage. Not convenient to walk to trains.....please advertise the buses that can be taken to the hotel street.
