Personal attention paid to guests and comfortable, non-institutional feel. Bkfast was very simple but enough, especially since it was part o the hotel fee. Good location . Shower too small, no phone in room. No lift, very steep stairs. |

The staff was more than helpful. The hotel was convenient to many popular squares in Ghent. The room was small yet comfortable and clean. My stay during October was quiet, and it felt private and quiet. |

Personal service, staff couldn't do enough for us very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The hotelier's English was very good and she gave us lots of information of where to visit, pubs, restaurants etc. The breakfast was lovely and we liked the buffet style. I also liked the fact that our car was locked up safe in the hotels garage. A very pleasant stay and we hope to come back. Would like tea and coffe facilities in the room |

Newly decorated large room. Modern, stylish decor. Very clean. Very helpful & knowledgeable lady on reception. Comfortable bed. Adequate furniture & TV. Ideally located to look around ancient city of Ghent. We requested a quiet room & overlooked a side street rather than the main road. Excellent value for money. |

The greeting by the receptionist was exceptional. She also had lots of useful information on the town and things to do there. The room was really comfortable and the breakfast very good. We will definitely be back and will recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Gent. The hotel was altogether fantastic and they have found a real gem for the meet and greet when you arrive, I hope she is appreciated. |

At first sight, the hotel was not impressive, but in fact our stay was very good: Nice big clean rooms, good breakfast, very friendly and nice staff. And all at a good price. |

Good central location, short walk into centre. We stayed as a family with 2 small children and were given 2 adjacent rooms. One for the children who shared a double bed in their own room which had its own key (no bathroom in this room). Our room had a double bed and large bathroom attached. Friendly host who spoke good English. |

Spacious rooms. Location very centrical. Breakfast adequate but not special. Room was not properly cleaned, dust on floor. No ventilation whatsoever in bathroom. Stench of humidity in room. Finishing touches missing, room numbers were scraps of paper on door. For the price we paid, way too overpriced. Alongside a noisy road. |

We loved the charming staff and well-kept rooms. The food was excellent in the dining room, and the accommodation for a family (with teenage children) was just about perfect. The location was excellent - not far from the main attractions of Gent, but out of the tourist traffic. The only downside was the street noise, which can be managed. As it was unusually hot when we stayed, the open windows allowed some noise to bother us. But with the personal attention from the hotel owners and the location, I feel it was still good value and a lovely place to stay. |

Very nice spacious rooms. Rooms were hot and lacked ventilation. Motion sensor lights in the bathroom were annoying. |

Everything almost, very friendly and helpful staff and great location. no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. not quite finished refurbishing yet, so be careful with children as large screw sticking out of the toilet by your feet and loose screws and fittings left on window sills. Room a bit bare, needs cushions or something! |

Very nice rooms in what seems a newly refurbished hotel. Friendly staff and close to the centre of the towns attractions. Noise is diabolical in the rooms at the front. Traffic noise sounds like you are sleeping on the verge of a freeway. Then you have student arseholes yelling outside all up and down the street when the local live music venue kicks out about 3am (its just along on the same street and gets very busy). A real shame because the hotel is great but the noise would stop me booking there again. |

Location good for city centre, street side room but quite if windows closed, good sized well equipped room, comfy bed, large bathroom. Restaurant and bar closed Monday but plenty of choice nearby. |

They were extremely accomodating and flexible. The place is newly renovated and very well decorated. Unfortunately it does not have air conditioning and it was very hot outside. It should at least have a fan. When you open the windows to get fresh air, the noise from the street keeps you awake. |
