- The hotel location is absolutely great in the middle of the centre of Bruges. - The hostess of the hotel is very kind and willing to answer all your questions.
The place is in the very centre. The jazz bar next door is highly recommended.
We stayed over Christmas and Viviane, the hotel clerk, was absolutely wonderful - she was very helpful. Breakfast was also of a very high standard and we felt very welcome at this hotel.
Quite far from main station but bus in front of hotel.
We liked the location of the hotel, the whole place is amazing! The owner was very nice and helpful and the breakfast was lavish. The room was clean, simple and practical. We had an amazing time, we hope to go back there once again! :)
The hotel is extremely well located, just a few meter from the Grote Markt. The receptionist was very friendly and very helpful, and gave us a lot information about the city. The breakfast had plenty of choises and the room was quite spacious. The bathroom was also good, being recently remodeled.
The building itself was a bit old, as well as the furniture, but that didn't get in the way of our confort. The steep stairs, typical of Belgium and the Netherlands, will also be a little challenge!
Breakfast Room Location
1) The woman that runs the hotel (most probably the owner ) is the best! Kind, helpful, funny etc 2) Big room with nice-new bathroom , very clean. 3) The location is perfect 4) Breakfast 5) Excellent value for money
1) Our room was on the first floor. Some kids were running-jumping on the second floor and the noise was coming down to our room through the wooden floor. This happened 3-4 times, not so important to bother us , or keep us awake.
Good value for money, excellent location
We had a family room on the 3rd floor, massive window with no grill, so with 2 kids we couldn't open the window, room was stifling
View over city, garden, breakfast room, originality of building, service ( especially front desk and breakfast), closeness to theatre, centre ville and restaurants, room arrangement!
Couldn't stay longer because of our itinary !
Lovely staff comfortable clean rooms lovely old building
Unbelievably cheap for a hotel as central as this, large room with plenty of space, free breakfast is tasty, owner of the hotel very very helpful. Central and well connected to the best parts of Bruges
Pillows were old and uncomfortable. Sliding door to en suite doesn't leave much to the imagination in terms of sounds. Slightly run down all round! All of this hugely outweighed by positives though!
The hotel and the localization are great for the price! But Vivian, the manager, was the best. She made everything she could to help us on many situations.
Clean and tidy, very helpful owner, spacious room and good breakfast. Well located a short stroll from the Markt.
Very nice owner, outstanding breakfast and the room breakfast is served in is beautiful
No elevator, steep stairs
- Breakfast very good - Vivian is very kind and helpful (we're able to check us in earlier, prepared breakfast early when we left early, got us hair dryer) - Recently refurbished bathroom, shower water temperature and pressure really good - Sleep quality was good - Hotel was clean - Wifi cost EUR 5 for the whole stay, but was very good in our 3rd floor room - Location is very good, 2-3 min walk to main square
- 3 floors of stairs can be a problem depending on your luggage - the street is noisy in the evenings (although it didn't affect me as I was my room faced the garden) - Hotel facilities are not new, but well maintained, clean and absolutely sufficient, especially considering the price. Definitely worth a stay!!
you could leave bags before and after check in/ out. big double bed. Breakfast Location
wifi not free
The breakfast was very good. Felt like I was a guest in someone's house though as we were told where to sit, etc. Also, it didn't start until 8am which is a little late for us. Wish there was at least coffee available earlier. Location was close to everything. Could walk everywhere.
If you stay in the family room, it is a difficult, steep climb to the top. Very dangerous for small kids. Didn't know there was a 2nd hotel owned by the same lady down the street until afterwards. Wonder if it was better? Finding parking was an issue as we arrived on Saturday.
Cleaniest and location.
Too many mosquitos. They should install window screen for each room.
The toilet's door didn't close
Location Staff Value Breakfast Easyness
Could do with some updating of decor
The location was great, although walking from the train station got a bit confusing! Take the bus, it stops almost in front of the hotel. Our room was cozy with a huge window overlooking the street. Breakfast was great and the owner (? manager?) was lovely and took good care of us.
Nothing sticks out.
the lady owner was brilliant and all the time helpful. the location is ideal.
it rained in one day :)
Location. Breakfast. Friendliness.
Great location, and I appreciated having a fan in the room. Breakfast was okay.
