Excellent breakfast and clean and bright airy room.Tours conducted were excellent and very informative.
Location for visiting Ypres is excellent. Off road public parking directly opposite the B&B is a godsen. Close to city centre. Breakfast was excellent. Owners so welcoming and helpful. Recommended.
The owners Roger and Murial are so lovely and extremely helpful - nothing too much trouble. Rogers battlefield tours are excellent. V comfortable and so so clean- excellent breakfast - veggies catered for! Definitely stay there again!
Would have preferred an en- suite toilet but regardless didn't present us with any problems .
The welcome was very warm and friendly. It was nice to see the English flag. The full English breakfast was delicious. Roger was very kind in getting me on a tour of the battlefields at short notice and telling me to be at the Menin Gate an hour early to get a good position. Everything was good
The separate bathroom/loo was slightly inconvenient, only slightly. Everything else was excellent.
High quality well appointed B&B lovely room and excellent furnishing and fitting
Really just the proximity to the dining room but not a significant issue to spoil anything
location and friendly
not full en suite
Good clean b&b with plenty of free off road parking outside. situated within 5 minutes walk of the Grossmarkt this is a value for money hotel. The owners Roger and Muriel were fantastic hosts.
The ground floor bedroom is off the dining room and could do with some sound proofing :)
close to square, free parking, good main road connections.
Facilities were excellent, comfortable bed, friendly owners, excellent location (just a few minutes walk from Ypres centre) and a cracking full English breakfast.
I make a mistake. I reserve a room for two persons when we arrive it was a room for one person. It's my error but the owner ask me the full price ans also for the breakfast that I don't eat ! not very frendly !!
Friendly owners Location has free parking close to town centre Clean rooms Very good breakfasts Roger is great tour guide
W.C. is not in bedroom
Oodles of parking, great breakfast, English speaking, extremely hospitable, contemporary decor, tea & coffee making, free wi-fi
The only thing we felt slightly uncomfortable with was walking through the dining room when family were eating dinner to get to our room.
The owners were really friendly and helpful. There was plenty of choice at breakfast including a full English cooked to order and an interesting range of continental cheeses. The ambience was cosy and some nice touches like the fluffy bathrobe in the wardrobe which I made full use of.
Probably my fault but I didn't realise it wasn't ensuite. I had my own private bathroom but getting up in the night and unlocking doors with keys was a bit if a pain. The bedroom would have benefitted from a mirror and a hook in the bathroom.
Proximity to centre and easy parking - for Tour de France! Very friendly family.
Room facilities very basic - poor towels and no tissues etc - for price of stay.
Owner so helpful and food really good -Loved the honesty box for drinks
Nothing to dislike
We had a ground floor room en-suite, spacious with adequate storage, tea and coffee facilities, free Wi-Fi. Very friendly hosts, happy to discuss Ypres and surroundings and suggest where we should visit (WW1 battlefields) extra to where we had planned. Easy walking to town centre (5 mins) and free parking.
Sound proofing between our room and dining room could be better if anyone had an early breakfast.
Roger and his wife were delightful hosts. Roger directed us to friendly establishments for drinking and dining. He also gave us tips regarding the "Last Post" service that is held each night.
Loved the friendly atmosphere and hosts.
My room had a private bathroom, but due to the set-up of the house, it wasn't attached to the room which meant crossing a public space to get to it.
Very friendly and comfortable We hope to return
Roger and his wife are great hosts. We also took a tour of the Battlefields with Roger as our guide and it was outstanding. Probably one of the most meaningful experiences of our trip to Belgium . . .
Lovely hosts. Good location.
Need an on suit toilet for 90 € per night! and No soap in the shared toilet.
Very hospitable, made us feel welcome, friendly atmosphere, quite homely, would highly recommend to others.
Very Clean and welcoming. Good breakfast and easy Parking.
Booked two rooms and neither had full en-suite.
A very welcoming family who could not be more obliging and helpful. Breakfast individually cooked and served, is excellent.
Bed comfortable and shower good.
Lack of extras eg. Rugs, water not supplied, towels small, not enough pillows, but extra given when asked for. Smell of breakfast in the bedroom and communal dining. No hair dryer.
