Very central, on corner of market square just off the main shopping street. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was immaculate and decor looked fresh. Breakfast was good and served in a very nice room with a view over the market square. It was a hot night so we slept with the window open, as we overlooked the market square we were awoken very early by a loud cleaning/refuse truck. It is probably noisy on market days in that room.

Hotel was clean and functional but no more. It was more like a hostel really. Not cheap either compared to the other hotels we stayed at during our week's holiday. No character. No warmth. Expensive for what it was.

The Hotel Cecil was a clean and welcoming hotel. Food was good. Rooms were basic but fit for purpose and the location was excellent. 10 mins walk to beach and 2 mins walk to main shopping thoroughfare. Plopsaland great kids theme park nearby!

The weather was great so we went to the beach, later looked around the shops and then went to find somewhere to have a picnic. In the evening we went out for a meal then headed to the seafront for drinks. We stayed on the 3rd floor and didn't have a lift, but it kept us fit!!

Goede ontvangst Fijn personeel, met oog voor service en gastvrijheid Gezellige serre om in te zitten goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding dicht bij het strand makkelijk in de buurt gratis parkeren douche is erg krap en douchegordijn hangt erg naar binnen waardoor als je een douche neemt het gordijn tegen je aan plakt het restaurant ernaast: de Lantaern, had redelijk eten, maar slechte bediening, totaal niet gastvrij

We werden erg vriendelijk ontvangen. Men was erg gastvrij! De kamer was netjes. We hadden de 4-persoonskamer en het was goed vertoeven met 2 kleine kinderen. Echt een aanrader!

Le personnel est très sympathique. La proximité des magasins.Le fait que du fait des températures assez fraiches le soir, le chauffage fonctionnait.Le confort dans la chambre ainsi que la propreté que ce soit dans la chambre ou dans les escaliers tout était très propre.

Un accueil excellent, ainsi que le service. Très sympa pour l'attention portée aux enfants. Tout en teinte de fraîcheur. La salle de bain un peu réduite, mais pas impraticable non plus. Pas de bain douche, a prévoir.

La localisation de l'hotel. Son petit déjeuner. Chambre un peu juste : c'est suffisant pour 2 nuits car pendant la journée nous nous sommes beaucoup promenés. Pour une semaine l'espace trop étroit serait difficille.

Le décor est neuf, printanier, agréable. Le petit déjeuner est correct et garni de jus de fruits (orange) un peu de charcuterie, de fromage, quelques pains différents. Une chambre trop petite pour 4 personnes, salle de douche plus qu'étroite.(même ma fille de 13 ans s'est cognée lavabo...)meuble de rangement trop étroit, pas de place pour 1 valise. Heureusement que nous n'ayons pas séjourné plus que 2 nuits. Un manque de confiance évident , on m'a réclamé le solde de la 2°nuit avant même d'avoir vu la chambre....le jour d'arrivée(le retrait de la première nuit ayant déjà été effectuée..). La froideur du responsable, nous n'étions pas suffisament néerlandophone peut-être ? Pourtant d'autres francophones étaient de la partie et étaient favorisés. Pq ?

de ontvangst was heel open en correct, uitbaters beetje onwenning had ik de indruk, maar alles was verzorgd en zij (koppel) waren zeer hulpvaardig en vriendelijk. Kamers waren vrij netjes, comfort basic (prijs/kwaliteit ok) 1 stopcontact voor ganse kamer en badkamer, wc as niet netjes bij aankomst.
