Very central, on corner of market square just off the main shopping street. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was immaculate and decor looked fresh. Breakfast was good and served in a very nice room with a view over the market square. It was a hot night so we slept with the window open, as we overlooked the market square we were awoken very early by a loud cleaning/refuse truck. It is probably noisy on market days in that room.

Hotel was clean and functional but no more. It was more like a hostel really. Not cheap either compared to the other hotels we stayed at during our week's holiday. No character. No warmth. Expensive for what it was.

The Hotel Cecil was a clean and welcoming hotel. Food was good. Rooms were basic but fit for purpose and the location was excellent. 10 mins walk to beach and 2 mins walk to main shopping thoroughfare. Plopsaland great kids theme park nearby!

The weather was great so we went to the beach, later looked around the shops and then went to find somewhere to have a picnic. In the evening we went out for a meal then headed to the seafront for drinks. We stayed on the 3rd floor and didn't have a lift, but it kept us fit!!

although the room was small and the bathroom smaller- it was modern, clean and functional. The restaurant attached to the hotel next door was exceptional! room and bathroom was too small but ok for short visit

Wij hebben dit Hotel geboekt voor 1 overnachting incl ontbijt ivm ons bezoek aan Plopsa de Panne. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en de kinderen kwamen ook niks te kort! er was een speelhoek en ze kregen een presentje! Het ontbijtbuffet was prima verzorgt!

petit déjeuner rassasiant et très frais. l apéro offert dans l excellent restaurant d'à coté. la proximité à la rue principale pour le shopping et se rendre à la plage, ainsi que la proximité du carrefour et delhaize. personnel très accueillant et fort aimable. le garage pour le véhicule fût une excellente nouvelle, pour 8 euro par nuit on est tranquille. le peu de luxe dans les chambres et dans la salle de bain, on est là pour dormir point. après tout, ca reste un 2 étoiles. mais, la situation géographique de l hôtel dans la ville passe au dessus de tout les désagréments!
