had to move room 2 times in a single evening before I got what I ordered.
No staff in the office during the office time. No indications for how to check in. Cleaners gave us a wrong code to open the key box for checking in and insisted that must be right. Frankly, it was the least costumer friendly place ever.
I had a lovely little 'cabin' style room which was very cosy and comfortable. Whilst it is not right in the city centre, the staff informed me of the nearest bus station which was easy to find and walk to. The bus trip into the town centre was not very long or costly.
Location, Price, Free Parking and Free Wifi
Pillows - not very confortable Broken shower head holder
close to town centre
heating didn't work and no staff around to get any help spoiled trip plus couldn't get a drink bar was full no free tables so couldn't have a beer
Rooms with microwave, fridge and electric kettle.
Problem with electricity - no power at night - personel said that it was temporary problem with fuses.
Staff were fantastic very friendly and eager to help.
Just a few tiny finishing touches to room needed.
After visiting from the Channel Tunnel the free car parking was a huge asset of this hotel with access to the city 20 min walk or 10 min by bus (free on weekends)
Limited check-in facilities could have been an issue but staff saw us arrive and opened up for us
- 30 mins walk or 5 mins bus to Brugge centre - clean - quiet - friendly and helpful staff - excellent access from motorway
WiFi was bit slow but accessible. It was excellent at front of the building though.
The location was great the rim was spacious the bathroom was clean
Cold room heating needs to be better
Nothing in particular
No wardrobes or anywhere to hang or put clothes, inefficient heating, power cut within the hotel at 08.00 whilst in the shower had to find clothes from suitcase an get dressed by the light of a mobile phone. The powe was off for 20 minutes.
address is incorrect with gps
Although the location was further out of the City than I originally thought, the local buses are good to get you in and out of the main centre. However, there was a strike on the Monday and the owner was good enough to drive me to the station!
Unfortunately the walls were quite thin (or two other rooms had really noisy guests coming home at 3am) and there isn't a manned 24 hour reception so I could really call up and ask them to be quiet. And also the second night my heating stopped working so I froze. However they were going to fix it the next day.
Very helpful staff. Checkin times were a bit off but if you call them they will be there for you. Provided bike rentals for a nice ride into the center of town rather than walking or taxi.
A few kilometers from the center. It was a short walk though. So not too bad.
Staff really friendly and helpful. Nice room with good facilities.
It was really good deal. Quite cheap. I would advice it everyone who would like to save money.
The wifi was poor and didnt work properly. A little bit far away from the city center. Approximately 40 min walk to the city center
very helpful and nice personal
Near road, so if open window for fresh air it becomes very noisy.
On site parking everything you needed was available Bed comfortable Only 20 mins walk to city centre
Problems with wifi but this was a area problem not just the hotel
- Cost Benefit - Localisation - Staff
Compact cosy room. Good parking. Plenty of food shops a short distance down Rijselstraat. Easy walk into town (buses if required). Didn't use the restaurant so can't comment.
Laminated wooden floors meant a lot of noise from the people above. We were unlucky to be woken at 3:15 when someone upstairs put on their hard shoes and walked back and forth for over an hour.
location, kitchen area, good bed
A little tired looking décor needs updating, carpets and walls etc
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. She told us how to get into the centre of Bruge, the best route to walk once we were there and where to find somewhere good to eat.
When we arrived we were told the wifi wasn't working, after returning from an evening out it was working again but we were unable to log on and due to the reception opening times there was no one to help us.
Location was much prettier than I expected (right next to a beautiful barn and pasture) convenient from highway Great accommodation for similar price to a hostel
Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner (it wasn't gross, it just wasn't clean) Check in time on weekend ends a bit early Not too close to Bruges, its walkable, but plan on half an hour at least
the extra-facility of a kichinette-bathroom; parking the car right in front of the window
the dim lights, especially since the blinds were mostly shut on the ground floor; the cold.
It was a quiet place. We came and went out of the office hours but it was easy to get the keys and leave them.
- Sheets were torn and smelled not fresh at all. - We could not connect to the wifi. - Office hours was closed all the time we were there.
