Hotel Koffieboontje can be found in the cultural heart of Bruges, near the Market Square. The hotel is in a calm, traffic-free street and has a terrace and a bistro.
Score from 1738 reviews Good
This hostel is in the center of Bruges. St Christopher’s Inn provides free hiking tours, a 24-hour front desk and terrace. The Grand Place is just a 13-minute walk away.
Score from 880 reviews Good
This hotel features a combination of modern design and medieval architecture in the center of the city, only half a mile from the centrally located Market Square and the Belfry of Bruges.
Score from 957 reviews Good
Dated interior, needs refreshing. Very close to motorway not quiet.
Friendly and helpful reception. Good information to help our one night visit to the centre of Bruges. Quiet room, convenient parking. All we needed en route from Netherlands to Dunkerque to catch the Dover ferry.
Only 1 milk and sugar per guest.
Great place for short stay
The room and the bathroom were not clean. there were spiders everywhere.
Excellent staff, free bike rentals, easy to find location
Friendliness of staff and overall comfort. Close enough to town if going by car but otherwise not too convenient if walking.
A bit far out of town as we like to walk. Not enough info on the facilities of bistro. TV reception not good.
price, good bus service, restaurant next door
sheets badly stained, floor very sticky and dirty, threshold between bedroom and bathroom not fixed to floor. room 15 by the way.
The power in half our room didn't work (including the TV and the heater) No staff were present to help I emailed asking for help and never got a reply Outside of the hotel, there is a sign pointing to the city Bruges, this is not even close to the city There are hotels at the same price actually in the city
Room was clean, albeit the bathroom had mouldy tiles and ceiling.
Whole place looked very dire. Needs a lick of paint and some staff that work longer than 2 hours a day.
convenience location cleanliness great bistro adjacent to hotel free parking free Wifi
bit tatty outside. thin walls.
Good value for money, excellent service and friendly staff. Good breakfast.
The restaurant next door: Bistro Flavours, has a great staff and great food! the room was very silent.
Wi-Fi was promised, but the signal didn't reach the room we were and the reception lady didn't try to fix this. The room wasn't cleaned any of the days we stayed. There was no soap or bathroom supplies, although it was promised according to their website.
The bistro next door
The whole place was falling apart the outside staircase to the top floor had a handrail issuing whilst the remaining ones were held on by joiners g cramps downright dangerous ! Light bulbs were missing from some lights in our room. When asked for preferences during the booking process I asked for a walk in shower as two of the ladies in our group were elderly (one has mobility problems ) No walk in shower and two rooms on the second floor accessed by a wet ,slippy, dangerous outside staircase. I slipped and fell down these stairs whilst carrying our suitcase thank god my disabled mother kept her footing or I would have been taking someone to court! Don't suppose you will publish this on your website ? The photographs are fraudulently showing what appear to be single storey chalets. We spoke to another guest who was outraged at paying good money for what he considered was a hostel at best !
Small but Nice rooms Everything is there even kitchenfacitilies
To close to highway Gardenrooms are noisy
Internet was good.
There was no reception on site. We had to phone to get the lock box number so we could get our key. Fresh towels were not given each day and the rubbish in our bin was left for two days. So from that we gather they don't service the rooms each day.
We enjoyed our stay, the staff were great, friendly and nothing was a problem. We were able to comfortably walk to the centre of beautiful Bruges. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable.
The only problem we had was the internet was slow at times (not Be Housings problem I don't think) and a bit clumsy to join.
Receptionist very helpful and friendly
Not clean Real budget, not even soap Old and budget does not mean grubby
Easy access to town centre, short travel to train station, only about 10-12km away from Coast. Manageress was extremely helpful and available, if necessary, out of hours via phone.
Outside railings are unsafe, metal fixings rusty and places broken. Wood very rotten and on lower steps taken off. Metal fixings in places secured with clamps to the steps. After two days staying there seemed to problems with waste pipes as the smell in the car park area was extremely bad and lingered for days. Two days before leaving, bathroom tap "exploded" and flooded room within seconds. Room was cleared in good time but it took a while before a new room was allocated. Hence we left a day early to travel back home. After informing head office by email no response has been received, which is most disappointing.
Nice staff, located in a nice part of town. There was a nice local restaurant near by but a little pricy.
Too far away from the downtown. It was a reasonable walk to the bus stop. Had to take taxi for convenient transport from train station on evening arrival. There was no breakfast included.
It was great having a fridge, microwave & kettle which many budget hotels don't include. We also liked the picnic tables outside in a pleasant & peaceful semi rural location. Felt safe & comfortable.
parking onsite, ok outdoor area for kids, decent diner onsite, easy access to the historic center by bike, bus, or even a long walk
really run down, reception open only a few hours per day, a lot of traffic noise
We received a very friendly welcome and great advice from the receptionist, all the staff was very pleasant. We had fantastic meals and drinks in the Bistro Flavors, thoroughly recommend both.
The taps in the washbasin were set on spray, not ideal and if that is all I have to moan about, not bad?
Free parking in hotel, cheap parking in main railway station just down the road on the edge of Bruges.
No bathroom extractor caused following problems: Smell of damp, bed was damp, damp on walls, woodlice, under and behind bed had not been cleaned for some time. We were in room 303 in the block separate from the main building. A disappointing stay that could have been avoided with better housekeeping.
Excellent advice/tips from manager
Having to go and ask for extra tea, coffee, toilet paper, etc
Information readily available at reception on both the area and local attractions.
Dogs were allowed on site for their excrement to be walked into the rooms.
