Bed was very very hard Shower was old/shabby There was a window in the door and the lights in the hallway didn't go off so it was incredibly light at night.
great location in central market, after complaining about our room (#6 with no tv and no wi-fi) we were moved to room #9, the only room in the hotel facing the market and with a tv, friendly staff
the only entrance is through the restaurant (very unpleasant and difficult with big luggage), room #6 - no tv or working wi-fi and fan noise from the kitchen all night, no lift
Great view from room
Very rundown. The shower was full of mold. The outlet fell out of the wall. When I asked them to store my bag they told me I could leave it in the restaurant. This is a restaurant, not a real hotel. No one here cares about your stay. Don't do it.
Hallway light shining through glazed section of door which kept us up a little
The location couldn't be better, and the workers were nice.
The room me were given was dreadfully small.
Not clean Old hotel Breakfast
Location really heart of the city .. and also the service was very helpful ..
Toilet separate from the bedroom but not that problem ..
the location was excellent food was excellent.staff were goodgood value for money.
when we syayed with you the 3days our bins were never emptied.the bed wasnt made up ,and for 2of the nights were woken up by noisey couples letting everybody know wwhat they were up to as our room was in a courtyard windows were open was disturbing.the rooms could do with upgrading as the wernt very appealling.
I loved the location of this hotel. Right smack dab in the middle of Bruges. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They had no trouble accommodating us for an impromptu extra night. The restaurant was also great. Try the Flemish stew....it was deeeelish.
The room was not the cleanest that I have seen. It is an older building so in certain areas it is hard to maintain cleanliness, but I dropped something under the bed and there were definitely some dust bunnies. It is my ONLY negative. Not filthy by any means.
Best location in town at a low price
The wifi does not work Pictures of rooms misleading Outdated small rooms
Location is great. The hosts are very kind.
There are mosquitoes in the rooms and brother us all night. The toilet is not inside the room, so it is not very convenient.
+ Location near the public transportation + Quit location so good for sleep/rest.
- Bad coverage Wifi area if your are in 4th Fl. -Tidiness was not good when they clean up the room. - If you consider to walk to tourist area (central) then it is too far.
too small. no toilet in rooms
Our room was quiet. It was clean, newly remodeled, freshly painted. We slept well. The price was very affordable.
No charm, no window except for in bathroom. Poor airflow. Shower was scary and needed new tile. Very simple, crash-type of room. Wasn't somewhere you could hangout to rest and read. Staff was indifferent. Breakfast was adequate, but not satifying.
This isn't the hotels fault, but the bell tower does an hour long ring in the morning and night. Which if you were looking for an early night or a sleep in, bring ear plugs.
Setting was fantastic And breakfast was good value for the money. Simple but tasteful rooms.
Car parking off site wasnt brillent and costly but was safe. Bit of a walk away from hotel. No tea or coffee in rooms
Very good location . helpful friendly staff more than enough for breakfast
Toilet broke whilst there .not hotels fault and fixed rooms could do with a clean and spruce up
It's a 2* hotel so you get what you pay for. It's an absolutely fantastic location so you can't go wrong there and the room was comfortable and we slept well so all in all, a pretty good place to stay.
Although in general the room was clean and the bathroom was in good order, the grouting in the shower could have done with a really good scrub!
Location Views of square from bedroom
Bar closed too early
Excelente local if you want to stay in the centre of the town. Near the principal atractions. Staff atended my special demand. But Internet conection was not so good. Sometimes i have to Walk inside the room to get the signal. The front view of the room is spetacular. The internal space of the room is fantastic. I recomend this hotel to travellers, but they must fix the internet problem.
Internet conection was the main problem inside the room. I stayed at room number 9, in front of markt. The hotel must fix the internet problem in order to give confort to travellers. It. is not adequate to be walking inside the room in order to manage to get the signal conection.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved staying there as it is so central and convenient to everything. Would recommend it happily to anybody who were going to Brugge.
location, good breakfast
smell in upstairs, absence of elevator, low level of cleaning, no tv in room and so on.
As my heading says, this hotel has one big thing going for it: location. Almost every sight seeing spot is in immediate walking distance. It's up to you to decide whether this makes up for the other shortscomings.
However, there were some points we did not enjoy so much, which I should mention here briefly. Unfortunately, there is no real reception. Check in, check out, queries etc. are handled by the waiters, as you come in and leave through a restaurant. The staff are super-friendly, though. Our room did not have an AC, so we had to leave the window open at night. Unfortunately though, there was no mosquito net. By the second day, our room was full of mosquitos, that feasted on us and kept us awake during the night. The interior is rather old and our room could have used some makeover. Breakfast was ok, but really rather basic: no eggs, only white bread, little fruit etc. We didn't dare eating at the restaurant on the first floor - it seemed a bit heavy on the wallet.
this hotel is the same house with the central restaurant and pub. but the pub closes at 10pm so its quite at night. the location is excellant , in the middle of markt place. the staffs are all very friendly and cheerful! they also kept our luggages after check-out. I totally recommend this hotel for other travelers!
the toilet was shared. a bit discomfort
The room was very small and the shower recess was absolutely full of mould and disgusting. The toilet was in a position which made it very difficult to use, no TV, no tea making facilities, no wifi in room, all in all, not a very nice place to stay.
