The hotel is just next door to metro and half a minute walk from gare centraal

I stayed just one night, so I don't have an opinion about service etc.

It is located very conveniently to the city center and next to the central train and subway stations. It is providing a very good price/quality ratio and the quality of service is above the layman's thresholds.

At some point it needs to be renovated.

Very close to train station and centre of Brussels. Quiet air conditioning and comfy bed.

Breakfast was only continental which was not good for me as I am intolerant of gluten.

the really slow elevator and the fact that the cleaning stuff is all around the place also after midday. Make rooms ready in a way that it does not disturb guests in the hall!

The airco only produced hot air and despite that fact that I was moved to a different room at my request, it remained 26 degrees in my Hotel room, and this at the beginning of spring.. I had bad nights because of the heat and due to the busy street it was not possible to keep the window open at night. I will not return there if I can help it. Definately not a four star Hotel.

The shower didn't work in terms of water temperature. I selecting hot water and, suddendly, it changed to cold water.

The staff were generally friendly and did their best to help with wifi connection.

There was no wifi or any other internet connection that functioned. The room furniture is also old and outdated. There was no lobby or place to sit to wait for colleagues or have a coffee. Elevator old, and I waited 10 minutes to go to my room. Very outdated hotel.

Location, ease of Metro, train and bus station and 5-10min walk to Grand Place. Not bad price (if you get discounted) for downtown Brussels, but realistically overpriced and over-rated. As long as you know it is not a 4 star when you book it like they advertise to be, and expect a souped up 2 star with amenities you will be satisfied. Free wifi.

No mattress pad, just a sheet on the mattress. Older cheap mattresses. Poor ventilation, smoke from other rooms on the floor in my non-smoking room. Very old, very slow elevator, and a small narrow circular staircase if you chose to walk the stairs. Management would do themselves a favor by including breakfast in cost for everyone. Horrible shower, especially if they want to rate themselves anything over a 2star.

Location - Metro entrance almost on door step, short walk to centre and short Metro ride to EU area. Room size and comfort. Hotel and room nice and warm. Balcony as extra bonus.

Public areas - entrance, lift and floor corridors a little tired - do not reflect the style and comfort of the room which was excellent for the cost.

I liked that it was close to the Gare Centrale, museums, shops, etc. Couldn't hear my neighbors.

Good location very close to the Central Railway Station, and immediate access to the Metro.

It is by no means a 4 star hotel. It used to be some 5-6 years ago when I first stayed in the hotel, but until now nothing has been done to rejuvenate the hotel. First I was offered a room where the window could not be closed completely, hence it was cold and very noisy. After I insisted to change the room, I was given another one. Pity that the management does nothing to refresh the look of the hotel, especially the carpets which are so bad that you have the feeling you are in a hostel.

Excellent location right beside the Centrale station and a 5 minute walk to the city centre. Staff were very friendly and the room was ideal.

It was really so close to the central station and next to the metro station so it was too easy to reach anywhere.The breakfast was O.K. and the staff was kind and helpful so we were happy staying there.When I come to Brussel next time , my prefer would be Hotel Centrale.

One thing I have to say that the lady who works at the breakfast room continouisly controlled and interposed the customer having breakfast. It was really troubled.
