guest next door was noisy by the tv
Location Breakfast Quiet environment Metro just outside the hotel Very, very good staff Hotel is close to central attractions
Nothing in particular
Excellent location very comfortable hotel and outstanding value for money
Basically bed and breakfast with no other facilities This suited us as we were out all day
Easy check in, lovely breakfast.
Lift to small,
Convenient location close to Metro on direct line from Gare Midi. Quiet and not so expensive OK for one night
Room was small and would not suit two persons. Decoration was tired and the room door in particular was distressed. Dark interior to hotel
No drinking water in the rooms
Location is good and facilities are adequate.
Poorly lit stairs and wifi signal
Clean, functional, ideally located and good breakfast included in price.
A friend said room 68 way too small found the bed not long enough and a wall at end so couldn't sleep so had to move to new room, if 6ft or over mention when booking room. Also pillows were awful.
Location Breakfast Renovation in bathrooms proximity to the metro
Noise from the outside Stuffiness in the room at night
Location Breakfasts View from the room Staff
Very good location, frendly and helpfull staff. Good breakfast.
Location, size of room.
Indifferent staff, aging facilities and equipment, no Wi-Fi.
Good location, art deco style, great breakfast in large room with full wall width window.
No kettle in the room. Did ask for a high floor room with a view if possible but ended up on the second floor looking out onto other rooms.
Large Rooms and good location
Rooms slightly tatty and showing their age.
i liked almost everything about this hotel. the breakfast was great. the staff were great. the location was convenient to the old city but not in the middle of it. a short walk to the central station, the upscale shops, lovely gardens and cafes.
the room as in a lot of European hotels was very small, not a criticism so much as a reality. But it was comfortable. The only thing was the comforter. It was abit small for the bed. And the heat. i couldnt figure out how to turn it on. maybe it happened automatically by the building? but the valve in the bathroom didn't seem to work. the weather was mild and heat would have been too much. but it was mysterious how to regulate the heat.
The position was perfect for me: just few meters from a metro. Staff is acceptable; breackfast good but all the days the very same stuff. I have been there several times and will come back if still in that area.
The bed: so soft that I slept in a half-moon shape.... and it was not a matter of that specific bed. All the times I went there in a different room the problem is the same. I suggest to ask for a street-view room.
Dark stairwell very eerie. Pillows were lumpy
Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast
The view from our room was a disaster, but actually we stayed only 1 night, so I didn't expect to get the best room :)
Location was excellent . Good variety for breakfast .
Internet conection very poor . With a spring clean the room will make a big difference .
Location and cost
No extractor fan. Breakfast ok but not great.
Quiet. Quick and effective staff in the reception. Good location.
Usually this hotel was a good choice between price and quality. Since renovation it is rather expensive. On the other hand renovation is like 90% done. Some stuff lying in the corridors here and there, unfinished works in other areas. Food choice for breakfast without any vegetables. Apple juice well out of date. Nobody offered Internet.
The location is brilliant; right outside the main entrance is a metro station with a direct line to the midi zuid station. It's only a 15 minute walk to the central area too.it's not too noisy either and was clean.
The top floor 7 has very poor internet access, the lift was tiny and the plugs in my bedroom did not fit my adaptor although it did in the bathroom.
The mattress was soft and I could feel the springs ... time to change it?
The hotel is well located Close to public transport, restos and bars, shopping and the EU district. The room was clean.
The hotel really need to be refurbished! The entrance looks promising but then the rest is something from the 80ies. The breakfast is poor and seems like a youth hostel. The whole place gives a feeling of an overpriced youthhostel without youngsters.
Breakfast and breakfast room. Welcome. Location. Quiet room.
No bar. Gloomy stairwell. Shower screen had gap between screen and bath which led to flooded bathroom floor
