Hotel Charleroi Airport - Van Der Valk    

Ihan ok hotelli. Ravintolan työntekijät hieman ylimielisiä.

Huoneen hintaan piti Booking.comin mukaan kuulua langaton netti mutta maksullinen oli, ainakin hotellikansion mukaan.

Meille kätevä sijainti, lähellä moottoritietä ja kenttää. Vieressä myös supermarketti, joka oli sunnuntainakin aamusta asti auki. Hotellilla hyvä aamupala, myös lämmintä ruokaa. Huoneet olivat rauhallisia ja tilavia, kylpyamme oli normaalia isompi. Lapsi nukkui hyvin matkasängyssä, joka maksoi 5 eur. Ilmainen parkkipaikka tosiaan myös löytyi.

Well located, friendly staff, good kitchen, parking facilities, shuttle to and from airport.

i am handicapped and they gave to me a room for handicapped. i did not entend to have a handicapped room just the parking. but it was very nice of them to do that for me.

there was one young waiter that was somewhat rude to us and he was there last year also; and he was rude that time also. I don't remember his name but he needs to be fired. there were others that commented the same as me.

The location near the airport. A very good alternative for the parking problems at the Brussels Charleroi airport. It is cheaper than parking at the airport, AND it includes a one night stay.

Longstay parking Airport shuttle

Our stay was only a quick stopover between flights. Hotel was very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Hotel is very nice, new, clean and well located. Food was perfect.

Wifi connection should be improved in some areas of the hotel.

This hotel was exquisite. Michel the manager made our stay memorable. We hada large group and he went out of his way to make a fun time for everyone. The staff and facilities were fabulous also.

A very confortable place near the airport. Ideal place in case you have your flight early in the morning.

* Friendly staff with manager directly available * good facilities * complex built around green energy/energy efficiency * close to Charleroi Airport with transport from hotel (€4) * quick breakfast available from 4AM onwards for people flying early from CRL airport (didn't use it though)

* Wake up call did not work, maybe because of start of summer-time.

Dining took forever, and when the meal arrived it was not to our liking. Early morning breakfast was very simple....

very kind and helpful personnel, with a business hotel that is really easy accessible.

Reception staff very rude talking in French to each other , both being capable to speak English, very dismissive

Transfer from airport is not describe very well. They gave me time table and did not inform that I should also call the hotel.

We enjoined staying at your hotel in Gosselies, no complains. Thank you for comfort.

Rooms are excellent, especially the bathroom was beautifull. Clean, allmost new. Relaxed atmosphere. The food in the restaurant was excellent; This is how you serve food! Very early breakfasttime for travelers.

Good choice if you have early flight. The driver of the shuttle bus was sick so, they organized a taxi to the airport for the same price (4€ P.P.). It was great!

We needed one night to catch our early morning flight. I picked Charleroi Hotel of Travel Advisor, due to the reviews. We needed to return our rental car, so when we check-in I asked about a shuttle from the airport. I was told 4 euro per person (8 Euro total) and told to call number listed when we were ready. Also note that no free shuttle to the airport either, another 8 Euro for morning flight. We arrived at the car rental for our car return. I called the number listed and was told “we are not the airport” and they hung up. I called the second time and told “we are not the airport, we don’t care about you” and leave us alone” and they hung up. Finally asked the girl at the car rental, she speaking native language arranges the pickup. We were told to meet the pick-up upstairs by the taxi, 50 minutes later no pickup. Took 17 Euro taxi (7 km) back to the hotel and try to address with the staff. We were told that the taxi came but couldn’t find us, but we were standing out there the whole time. We received 2 free drinks but that doesn’t make up for the rude comments on the phone. Rooms were ok but not updated like the website states. Stay away from this hotel, not worth the ruddiness.

Proximity to Charleroi, unique and convenient on-site parking, helpful staff, handy supermarket at walking distance, in short, everything just worked to our total satisfaction for a week's park-sleep-fly deal at 92 euro which is excellent value compared to the price of parking-only at the airport.

We do not like the attitude of the staff at the reception the day we left. Very unfriendly, do not even asked if we enjoy...not talking about futur visit..
