Nice setting. Grand house. Stylish Restaurant below standard: Very limited menue. Slow and nonchalant service. Took 45 minutes just to get our order taken. Food came before the wine was served. Plates were cold, so was the food. |

We feel the hotel and staff missed many opportunities. From the start we were not made to feel at all welcome as we were unable to drive the car to the door. Luggage had to be dragged over stones and the wheels were then broken. The reception desk was hidden and no-one available to welcome us. There was a dead tree at the base of the stairs where a welcoming reception desk could have been. Why the dead tree was covered in silly bits of paper which no-one would read was a mystery!! The room was fine, clean and comfortable. Dinner was served cold ( scallops) and with much delay, even though there were very few guests actually dining. The barman preferred to take a phone call in the middle of taking our drinks order. We thought that the face to face customer was the most important one. We were wrong. |

Not suitable for anyone with restricted mobility. A very long walk from the nearest car parking area to reception along a gravelled driveway. Very dark decorations in the hallways with awkward steps right after doorways. Would benefit from better and automatic lighting systems in the hallways. Very difficult to find the room numbers with the low level of illumination. |

I liked the senary and the location very much. The people on reception were very friendly, however the people serving were not flexable at all. It was not possible to get anything to eat after 10 o'clock because we missed breakfast, and the only thing we could eat was lunch after 12 wich was a bbq. No sandwiches or what so ever. The waiters where i think a bit snobbish... see above...if you realy want to be an international hotel and not only a restaurant for the few from your neighborhood, you should instruct your servicestaff behind the bar and restaurant better. The only"normal"one was i think the manager there... |

Very friendly hotel staff. Beautiful location and great views (if your are lucky to get a room with a window - see below). Very good food. Nice atmosphere. 1. Both the two rooms we got had only one tiny window at the very top of the wall so that we could not look outside and had to switch on the light during the day. After we complained we could swap one of the rooms for a nicer room. 2. Aisles in the hotel are so dark that one has to watch out not to fall down any stairs. 3. |

Beautiful location. Friendly staff and warm welcome. Very comfortable bed! :-) There was a wedding and the guest were very noisy!! One cannot blame the hotel / staff for this (but I would have preferred to make better use of my comfortable bed) |

Very good decoration throughout. Loved the terrace with great sound system! No hot shower.... It would be nicer, if the restaurant staffs could speak English. Otherwise, English menu can be a big help. |

Beautiful castle- our room was right in the castle! Renovated and opened recently. View of the forest. Paid 75Euros. Breakfast was very basic. The rest of the grounds, although beautiful, were not completely renovated and the sports/lifestyle factilities were minimal. |

Terras koude uitstraling. Is uiteraard een kwestie van smaak. |
