Score from 693 reviews Very good
This hotel is in a peaceful location along the Meuse River, in the town of Wepion. Hampton's hotel has an extraordinary indoor and outdoor pool, a spa center and a spacious terrace with river views.

Hotel staff and their poor service
Don’t be decived by it’s exterior, this is 3-star hotel in 5-star chateau setting, with beautiful main building exterior and it’s surroundings. So don’t expect great welcome and royal service, just enjoy the scenery and you won’t regret it. We got room in adjacent building, and although it was newly refurbished and fairly clean, interior lacked atmosphere and character you’d expect to find in such interesting exterior. Nevertheless, we had a good night sleep in big comfy bed, and afterwards enjoyed our first morning coffee on the main terrace with stunning views. For 47€/night for standard double room w/o breakfast, we have definitely got more then we bargained for. Don’t forget gps.
The chateau was a nice bldg, nice garden..ok to visit, but not stay.
1St, you don't really stay at the chateau, you stay in the nxt bldg..if you advertise chateau, I expect to stay in the chateau..this is not my 1st time to stay in chateaus, this one was misleading Bathrm, didd'nt have a window- it had a fowl smell of mold fr moldy towels, even after spraying, 5mins after, smell is still there..awful, it goes thru your lungs/throat! Room was very small..VERY Expensive for what you get..stay somewhere else..High floor, not good if you have elders with you, or if you have knee problem.
Quiet. Good rounds to explore. Very good breakfast but at a price.
Not given room expected. No restaurant either night of our stay and quite a long way to other restaurant amenities. Suggested restaurants quite expensive.
The landscape and the building seen from outside...
Breakfast: limited variety of cheese, only boiled eggs (no omelet or scrambled eggs). The staff not particularly eager to help and distant. Our room was not spacious although we had a triple one. The extra bed was too small for our 7 year old kid...
TINY room (but inexpensive 'late night deal.'
Grounds are beautiful. Beds are comfortable
Inside is very modern dark and cramped. Food is not very good
The food is good. The rooms are furnished with a lot of taste. bathroom is very clean and spatious.
The buffet was a little poor. Only one sort of vegetable. Two of the four lights didn't work in the bathroom.
Very elegant chateau, beautiful grounds. Marvellous views .superb food but a bit overpriced €35 for 3 courses - buffet style so that meant you had to serve yourself!!! Breakfast plentiful - lots of choice.
People who have health issues really should check wether they are in main chateau or anex . Anex is quite a walk carrying luggage and in our case up 2 long flights of stairs. Decor in our anex dreary - clean but very dark!!
We had two double rooms. (Think we got great deal with booking.com)Spotlessly clean and modernised. Beautiful areas downstairs and in bar and fun to be able to relax and play family games. Had excellent meal in nearby village. Was nice for our last stopover on route home.
Bit remote but expected that. Shame about pouring rain and thick fog. Breakfast sounded too expensive to stay for. Couldn't see out of our window.
Rooms were a good size, nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Good recommendation for local restaurant.
Staff were efficient but could have been a bit more welcoming and friendly. Views from family room disappointing given the location.
Location is great, people are great, had a wonderful time there. Enough to do even when there is bad weather outside
The rooms were a bit small, but this is really a minor point. It was still comfortably sized.
Beautiful chateau in the countryside, nicely modernised and tastefully decorated. We had a large room with nice views on three sides and a very well laid out bathroom. Comfortable beds, delicious breakfast buffet with a large variety for all diets. As previously commented the WiFi was unusable, to the degree they effectively do not have it, however it was our only criticism. Wish we had stayed longer!
The WiFi was terrible, and the location is quite rural, but that isn't a problem if it is what you are looking for!
This place is beautiful! I loved the ambience of the multiple lounges to hang out in and the views. We went driving during the day around the many small towns which was really enjoyable viewing. Value for money was superb, drinks were reasonable priced. A fantastic place to unwind and relax. This would be a suitable summer or winter place to stay.
There was nothing about this place that I didn't like.
Nice location for a 1 or 2 night stay.
Room 211 is very small, has noisy plumbing and is positioned next to the lift, do not accept this room. We were staying for 6 nights and were not offered a solution for this discomfort. The hotel is too far away from nearby towns if you don't want to have dinner in the hotel. Overall décor looks cheap.
The hotel was a real palace. The rooms are big and spacious with high ceiling. The decor is also very nice. They have an awesome terrace on the woods.
No ac in the room nor a fan. When we close the window it's really hot and if we open it tons of insects from the woods enter.
double bed was very comfortable, grounds are lovely, free games room, lovely breakfast
additional bed like a slab of rock and very narrow - impossible to sleep on. games room equipment not in very good condition, breakfast quite expensive
Really nice location. We took room with view and it was worth. i guess in any time of the year this place has own beauty. Nice big bath and in general nice bathroom. Tasty and really fresh breakfast with enough choices. Nice Hotel surrounding.
Service was not really hospital, did not look that they are waiting guests. No water in the hotel room. Bad isolation. At night one baby was crying and this could be heard at our room so it was difficult to fall asleep. Room mirror was with damage and that does not add aesthetic feeling for superior room. Despite hotel minuses this place was worth to visit. Strongly recommended.
Amazing place, a perfect base to visit the Wallonia region, but only if you have a car. Very nice room, with a big and very confortable bed and a nice bathroom. It was one of the best moment of our hollidays...
We had not the possibility to enjoy the breakfast...to expensive for our budget! (15 euro each)
the castle from the outside looks great scenery/view & gardens are nice.
rooms are very small and not up to expectation of what you expect with a castle. Shower is so small that you are attacked by the sticky shower curtain. -breakfast is very good but expensive at € 15,- -fire alarm went off in the middle of the night -they lost our luggage when we changed the room. How that is possible says enough about this hotel. All in all not worth the money you spend on it.
Great breakfast,excellent room.
Wifi would only work with some devices.
This is the perfect place to relax and to enjoy the beauty of nature. Also, if you have kids, is a great place to play minigolf or soccer or other things without disturbing others! Breakfast was also good! From there you can go around and visit Dinant for example. The tour with Laurent around the castle was very interesting!
