Breakfast and location Hotel and room were in terrible condition, in need of a good cleaning and repairs. Room was in dirty and in bad condition, was small and while location was good had only one very small window located in manner that views to the outside landscape was impossible. We tried to get room changed to have a larger room with a better view but was unable to change the room.

The hotel setting was wonderful with fabulous views. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room (Suite) was big but quite dark with high windows although the views over Namur and the river were stunning. The food in the restaurant was superb and the atmosphere soft and romantic. Although only one night, we loved the stay and would certainly return. It was a great start to our wedding anniversary tour of Europe. They had a Physiotherapists conference at the Chateau just as we had dinner so it was very noisy in the hall outside the restaurant, especially as there was no door to close. Thankfully they all went into their dining hall (which looked lovely) after half an hour so we were able to dine in peace.

Unusual site in beautiful surroundings. Very civilised and well run. Would recommend to others. Hard to criticise... We personally like tea and coffee in rooms as we do not have a conventional routine!

The setting and the wow factor We had a junior suite and for a hotel that only had 29 rooms the carpets in the hallwall from the lift to the room on the second floor were very stained, in our room the carpets were even worse stains and wear, als the pipework to the side of our bed was filthy with dust. the function that we passed for two days still had empty water bottles and paperworm from meetings that hadn't been cleaned up.

I liked the location of the Hotel very much. It had a beautiful view over Namur. However, the dining options were limited and very expensive.

location we stayed here a few years ago and have much better memories of that trip. The menu was limited, food dissapointing, and over priced,Staff very pleasant but obviously undertrained. Sadly we shall not be visiting this Hotel again. On this holiday we travelled through Holland, Germany, Belgium and France staying at 7 different hotels and this one was the only one that we were not happy with

We were looking for an overnight stop on our trip to Italy and found this hotel by chance. It was a beautiful impressive building with comfortable rooms, delicious menu and the offer gave us an exceptionally good price.

The chateau looks impressive and the room was spacious. The evening meal was of a very high standard of cuisine, presentation and service. Breakfast was also good. The grounds are extensive and beautifully maintained and the chateau is situated in a very attractive area. The room rate through Booking.com was very good value. The towels were very thin - we expected fluffy towels in a hotel of this quality.

Accomodation, location and friendliness of staff. Despite being a good location, quite a distance from the centre if walking. Finding a taxi in Namur not easy unless you know your way around.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay, only wish we had stayed more than one night. The bedroom was unusually large as was the bathroom. All was very clean. Dinner was rather expensive but delicious! I would highly recommend the Chateau to other people.

Great location. Huge room & bathroom Disappointed no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Although we booked a double room, we got very creaky twin beds pushed together. Both had very soft and saggy mattresses that seemed to have seen much better days.

Wonderful location and well kept garden. Very close to the Citadel at Namur. Lovely walk down to the old city which was very interesting. Staff were very helpful. Poor quality towels in the bathroom. It would have helped to have been told that the majority of the young staff in the Restaurant were in training from the local Business School

We had two big rooms next to each other for our family. Bathrooms are huge. Staff were very efficient. Interesting history to the property. Decor out of date - not much atmosphere but we did stay on a Sunday night although hotel was nearly full.
