We enjoyed our stay: surroundings are beautiful, the ambience very nice, the kitchen excellent and the staff friendly. Maybe, for a castle, the interior design of the rooms was a bit too minimalistic: though bed, furniture and bathroom were very comfortable, the bare walls and minimalistic lighting could be improved in our opinion |

The room was average, the bathroom was above average. The hotel is nicely located on a hill overlooking Namur, but our room was located at the end of a corridor and had a tiny window, no view at all. We booked a last minute room for 80 EUR, so I guess that is what you can expect. Nice building. Breakfast was good, but cost 15 EUR extra per person. |

Beautiful building perched on a hilltop with very nice views. Lots to do on the citadelle on which it is built. Friendly staff and really great breakfasts. Rooms were a bit old fashioned but clean and comfortable |

Nice Staff. No Hidden Fees. Internet was 20 Euros and provided by a different company. But the hotel staff was very good at helping me get set up even though I didn't speak the language. |

Attentive staff, beautiful setting and gardens, excellent restaurant, comfortable room. Some of the decor needs refreshing. On arrival at 1715 our room was not ready.We were given apologies and a drink voucher. |

We did not in the hotel long enough to really say but the hotel is in a stunning location. The views from the restaurant are great and it is perfectly quiet. I thought the breakfast was expensive, especially as there was no hot food available. Also the staff serving breakfast were not at all helpful. |

We had planned to explore Namur. Instead we spent our two days wandering the grounds and the Citadel. The food, wine and service were excellent in the restaurant; we did prebook our meals, both before arrival and our second dinner. The guinea fowl with caramelized apricots and lavender flowers was a smashing success. |

there was particular ambience. the promotional rate appeared to be good. room was basic for 4-star hotel. there were hairs left in the bathroom when we checked-in. and the fridge was not working. |

large very comfortable place, with good spacious rooms and restaurant facilities. Nice, 'grand'style without being imposing or intimidating. Friendly staff, very good cuisine in fine surroundings. Perhaps a certain ethos of 'business culture', but then I'm not a businessman! |

Could have been better... Although I did not have reservation, they told me that I can not have dinner at their restaurant on the day I arrived. It was disappointing because the main reason I chose this hotel was Gourmet. I had to go all the way down to town. Other than that, I have nothing to say. |

This was our 3rd stay in the Chateau. It usually represents good value for money in an excellent location near the citadel overlooking Namur. It has basic room rather than luxurious. The weekend we arrived coincided with a seminar. Very crowded and we had a desk with laptop set up right outside and blocking entry to our room. |

great location but a bit remote. shuttle bus was not sufficiently frequent thus a car was needed We arrived tired mid day and just wanted relax over lunch with the great view from the place, but we could not have anything due to venue at hotel. Made us feel not as guests. And we had to book in advance for dinner, but at that time we did not know where we would be spending the day so we decided not to bok. |

The Chateau is beautiful. It's located right on top of the Citadelle and offers gorgeous views of the river valley. THe gardes of the Chateau are gorgeous, the surroundings of the hotel are very peaceful. It is definitely one of the most beautiful places we've stayed at. The rooms and bathrooms are very spaceous and clean. The carpet in the corridors is worn out but not dirty. In all it is a very well maintained hotel. |

Amongst other things, the quality of food was excellent and a good value for money. Poor repleneshing of food during breakfast. As a result items would run out on the platters before every guest had a chance to try them. |
