The quality of the beds was not ok and it was 2 single beds. We heard the snores of the room near us. And no cold water in the bathroom

Nice location right on the Citadel. Food is great, although not cheap. You can't walk to town in eve so have to eat in Hotel or drive/taxi in.

Lovely building up on the hill. Good surroundings, but not really useable/enjoyable on a grey wintery day in March. The food in the restaurant was excellent, but the staff there were young and inexperienced. The weather! The interior needed a bit of attention.

It was a Beautiful Hotel with a picturesque setting. Staff were friendly and were helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hotel is located out of the city, but close drive in. Great Value for money. Slightly outdated interior, now spa facilities or gym. Pigeons roosting all over the building and cooing near the window.

The hotel building itself and the location are breathtaking. The bathroom was clean. There were spare pillows in the closet. The room was not exactly dirty, but it was not fresh: there were stains on the walls and on the carpet, the window curtain was torn. We were awakened at 7.00 a.m. on Sunday morning by the sound of elevator - walls are very thin. The hotel is situated on the mountain near De Citadelle, so you can reach the castle easily, however to reach the city center is quit a challenge if you don't have a car or an inclination to take 30 minutes walk downhill and an hour uphill afterwards. The man at the reception doesn't impress us with friendliness, he was even trying to express his discontentment for whatever reason it was. The woman next day was better.

I liked the venue itself The staff didn't speak English, therefore I spent 40 minutes at the reception desk checking out whilst the receptionist was typing with one finger, I paid for the breakfast I didn't eat(simply didn't have time for it left),received a bill for 8nights instead of 6 . Please don't go there if you don't speak French

Lovely building, nice room, very helpful staff and a good price (we paid €75). A 30 minute walk from anything else, so the €8 taxi each time is a likely cost. However, during the day the walk down through the citadel to the town is really nice.

The building is beautiful and the location is very nice. The quality of the bed was very poor. I almost woke up every 15 minutes with backpain the first night. The second night we asked to change the room. We got a bigger room with a better bed but the overal quality of the bed and the rooms is very poor. Except for the free wifi and free parking the hotel has nothing special to offer. No gym, no sauna, no activities. This is a downside for a hotel that is isolated. Once you arrive at the hotel in the evening there is virtually nothing to do in or around the hotel. The restaurant is not bad but too expensive for what it has to offer. If you want to eat the menu the price is reasonable. If you want to eat "à la carte" there is almost no choice and the prices are too high (ex. 32 € for a small steak with pasta) I think the price of the breakfast is also a little high for what they offer. The hotel is isolated. The only way to go to the city is by car, taxi or bus.

The Chateau is an elegant old building with large, comfortable rooms set high on the hill overlooking Namur. The walk down through the Citadel was a definite must-do. Excellent value for money. Friendly staff and beautiful surrounds. Would highly recommend it. We walked from the city centre. It was a long walk and difficult to locate on foot (even using a map) and a trek up to the top that was not for amateurs. Once located however, it was simply stunning!
