Only 270 yards from Botanique Metro Station, the Hotel Villa Royale has air-conditioned rooms and free Wi-Fi and is located just outside the center of Brussels.
Score from 1381 reviews Good
In the heart of the historic center of Brussels, the Bedford Hotel is a boutique hotel just a quarter mile from the Grand-Place.
Score from 7061 reviews Very good
great place, original interior, love the wood theme, and awsome roof terrace ajacent to room on 4th floor. Brilliant!
The location close to EU institutions and park du cinquentenaire
A bit overpriced
No thee or coffe
one lift for all floors, long time to wait it, door to the room 49 is difficult to close, the same with bath room door, very hot in the room, air condition is not working properly, small room, extremely small bath room, no space to shave or brush tooth, this is not three stars hotel, but one maximum. Hotel decoration is awful. You feel as in cargo wooden box.
No quality at all and staff personal was under expectation.
location, parking, service
Location (close to Bus and Metro stations)
Slow internet connection
On first sight, the hotel foyer looked rather dark and drab but the bedroom was spacious and light with a huge bed. The bathroom was clean but looked more dated than the room itself. There is a wonderful roof top terrace which is a bonus in good weather. It is a long walk to the centre but there is ametro not too far away.Street parking is free and easy. The breakfast was excellent.
Very poor lighting on the stairs between some floors.
Location, design, breakfast room amazing!! Staff were lovely.
All round comfort and helpful staff.
Nothing really. WiFi a bit slow but it all works.
The bed is quite big, also the room where I slept.
Everything....some little part of the bath were broken, the courtain dirty...They tried to charge a breakfast which I didn't take it. The atmosphere in there is like they want to be a good hotel, but they don't put so much money and effort to do it.
Staff is really nice and conditions are amazing. It's just 4 metro stops from the city center (bought a travel card instead of booking a more expensive Hotel in the city center). Price/quality is excellent.
Weak Wi-Fi signal; price of the breakfast.
The room was spacious and had a bathroom with an actual bath. Parking lot was blocked that night, but we were able to park on the street nearby for free until 11am, which is the checkout time anyway.
Renovation works on the street started early in the morning, and the same works were going on inside the very hotel.
Bathrooms Old electrical setup Free wi-fi but unregular & didn't work one day Too much renovation going on, hotel should be closed Reception personnel not friendly
To much money for to low hotel and bad service by the owner!!! Rely nothing else too add on this hotel....i have been traveling the last 30 Days in 7 country's all around Europe and this is the first time I didn't enjoy the hotel I booked up!!! Dirty and smelly toilets, have air-con but the owner didn't want to open it & noise from the street!!! Please be aware from it!!!
One of the best hotel deals for single people working in the Schuman area. The breakfast is also pretty good, with a selection of bread, juice and coffee. Friendly and helpful staff.
The bathroom wasn't exactly clean - I found a lot of hair from the previous guest in the bathroom (sink and towels). None of the night stand lamps worked.
The Staff The Bed The wi-fi Breakfast
Separate toilet from room and bath The lobby--rather depressing
Staff are friendly. Breakfast is great, with fresh squeezed fruit juice. Bathroom is small while the bedroom is spacious.
Metro station is nearby, but the stop going to the Grand place is located at a different location from the stop going in the other direction, which took us quite some walk without knowing that in advance.
If you are looking for a reasonably cheap place to stay, stay at the Chelton. You definitely get your money's work, with the cleanlyness, wifi.
The only downside is it's a bit of a walk to main part of town, Like 1.5-2km away but just hop on the metro.
Spacious rooms with large comfortable beds. Lots of hot water and plenty of towels.
Breakfast was pricey.
Friendly English-speaking staff Near the main EU Institutions Large selection at breakfast
Small teacups at breakfast
Staff were very formal, not very friendly, didn't offer help
perfect room, friendly and helpful staff, internet was stable and fast, location is good (close to metro)
cleanliness no tea making facilities had to buy tea separately.
