City Center Appartment

The web site is completely misleading. There really is nothing good to say about this apartment! One of the windows was boarded up, parts of the shower were broken, when we opened the fridge the broken bottom drawer fell out, the light in the toilet didn't work, some of the plug sockets didn't work, there was one coat hanger..... There is a street light right next to the front window. The apartment hadn't been cleaned, there was a opened carton of soup in the fridge. It is in a pretty bad area of town. A more apt description would have been a budget bag packers hostel. It would warrant a price per night of around Euro 40. Please note that I normally do not complain but this place was a disgrace!

This was by far the worst place I have paid to stay at: 1) top floor of an old building (no elevator) with no stairway lighting. 2) Freezing cold apartment with no central heating, old windows and only an old gas fire which did not look safe to leave on all night (my wife and baby slept in the lounge on a sofa bed (the bedroom was unbearably cold) 3) Location was a construction area on a main road - lots of noise 4) Bath/Shower was not properly fitted and didn't work very well.

La location se situe dans un immeuble en réfection (le loueur vous annonce que vous êtes seule dans l'immeuble mais vous êtes dérangé par le bruit des travaux jusqu'à tard le soir ou par les aller et venus de personnes qui visiblement ont accés à l'immeuble). La location n'est pas adaptée du fait qu'il manque des équipements qui pourraient la rendre plus fonctionnelle (micro onde, casserolles par exemple). La location est sale. Une personne se trouve dans la location est fait le ménage (si on peut appeler ça comme ça ) au moment ou vous venez pour vous installer et profiter de ce que vous avez loué. Le loueur vous annonce que les personnes d'avant sont partient trop tard et c'est donc pour cela que la femme de ménage est encore ici. Ce n'est pas la peine de venter les mérites d'une baignoire/douche spa sachant que celle-ci ne fonctionne pas. Il n'y a pas de lumière dans les toilettes. Tous ce qui se trouve dans la cuisine et ailleur doit être essuyé ou relavé avant utilisation. Il n'y a pas de chauffage dans la location.

Appartamento pulito, a parte la tovaglia macchiata sul tavolo da pranzo. Buona possibilità di comunicare con I proprietari per le chiavi.

Si tratta di un appartamento privato, ad oltre 2 km dal centro della città, in una via triste, senza esercizi commerciali. Non è inserito in una struttura e non c'è indicazione alcuna sulla porta, cosa particolarmente fuorviante in quanto esistono due Grand Rue a Charleroi, a poca distanza una dall'altra!! L'unica connessione internet disponibile appartiene alla rete europea con soli 10 minuti gratuiti alla prima connessione e poi esclusivamente a pagamento. Nonostante la bassa temperatura esterna, nessuno aveva provveduto ad accendere le stufe. La cucina non è fornita di microonde; due sole le pentole (un wok ed uno scaldalatte); l'idromassaggio della doccia e l'asciugacapelli non funzionavano: il wc è decisamente da cambiare; nessun attaccapanni in armadio. L'impressione generale è stata di un appartamento in certo modo ancora da finire, adatto solo a soggiorni molto, molto brevi.

Oven die niet werkt.. Geen pan om maar spaghetti te kunnen maken. Weinig voorzieningen, slecht geinformeerd.
