Score from 500 reviews Very good
Terrific value for money. Staff was courteous, helpful and very eager to speak English to us.
It's not exactly in the best part of town although it was certainly safe and secure. Although under construction, it was still a very restful stay when we were in the hotel.
Not to far from central square, and appeared to be value for money.
1st i booked twin room ended having double room, we then were re located to a twin room. The hotel looked like a building site. Hammering and drilling started really early in the morning, the car was parkes outside the hotel we asked the receptionist if we were ok to park there, which she responded possitively yes. Following morning the police came to recepotion to ask if the car belonged to a customer at the hotel (english number plate car) she said no. As a consequence we missed our meering the following day, lost 310 euros to get back the car, 20 euros for taxi. So really if not most definatly the worst experienced received so far. With the most lack of common sence and initiative. Very disapointing. Ps. The police told should they the hotel confirmed the car belongs to them none of this would have happened.
After chasing mising towels on the first day the towels were changed each subsequent day... Leaving on the last day...
The tiny business single [sic] room which wasn't even up to the 16 m2 of the description let alone any of the hotels published photos of same.. Yes there was a "flat screen TV" but the table lamp had been put on the floor to make it fit... There was also a [locked] mini-bar which took most of the space under this tiny working? table. So no room to do any "business" on this on this doubly obstructed surface. The bed making "skills" seemed limited to putting the duvet back on top of an otherwise untouched creased sheets. NB the bed linen and also pillow cases were not changed in the three days/nights stay in this 3*? hotel in humid close weather .... Breakfast wasn't much to write home about either although it was available at 07-00 each day....
hotel is under refurbishment, yet it is too noisy and unclean
It is close to business buildings.
Did not have frigobar internet slow
Comfort beds, Quite area, 15 minute walk from Grand Place, free internet access.
Everything in the hotel was excellent
friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, wifi connection, coffee and tea available in the room
hotel location, room size
The rooms are comfortable, beds and shower are in good condition.
Very bad wifi connection! Strange attitude at the reception. Very close to a lot of reconstructions (hard to reach the center fast). The red lights district is just around the corner, so it's quite dangerous and uncomfortable to walk through it after 8pm. During over stay there was also a huge reconstruction of the air system on the 2nd floor, so it was also rather noisy and "drilly".
I arrived around 11:00 and got my room sooner.
They over charged me 5€ and let me sign a paper that I approved the extra 5€. The comments on the site they mention breakfast, but forget to mention clearly that you have to pay an extra 12,50€. Next to the glass container making a lot of noise. Pushy about the breakfast. Claustrophobic tha halls are really really small. I traveld a lot this is by far the worst experience ever, hidden costs. If I knew this I would pay exactly the same for a better Hotel. Feels like being screwed and you have to sign a paper for approval, its like being Ryanaired.
Nice hotel located close to the historical center and shopping area, metro is approx. 5 min walk. The staff is very helpful and friendly, especially Mr. Jordi from reception was excellent. The rooms are clean, bed was comfortable and during the night it was a quiet place. In front of a hotel there is a police station so I would say it's also a safe place to stay. I would recommend this hotel as it was near to the centre and a good value for money.
i love my girlfriend
the bad people around the station and the dirt outside
Petit dejeuner trés bon.
Travaux pendant mon sejour.
Staff were great, I was staying there with my two Young Children and the staff were great and very helpful. Unfortunately, Brussels is not the best Place for Children but the hotel was great Breakfast was good too
The park nearby has a bad reputation with homeless and ladies of easy virtue - I didnt see any of these There are no Childrens amenities nearby, but thats Brussels not the hotels fault
Staff very nice.
Neighbourhood: located near peep shows stores and other related business.
The staff was superb, going out of their way to help me and make my stay more enjoyable. They even ordered me a pizza.
It would have been nice if the hotel had a kitchen for dinner in the evenings
Staff was friendly
Clean rooms Helpfull staf
Single rooms kind of small Kind of noisy in the morning Parking is almost impossible, but it is the case of Brussels :)
- low price - near to city center - free parking spots near to hotel (but limited) - free wi-fi & cable tv - clean
- not safe location - no lamp on ceiling
Bathrooms need remodeled. Water leak somewhere in room 25% carpet soaked. Required multiple wifi codes to run multiple devices.
Location near the train station, room's size, clean room, helpful stuff
Very very poor WiFi, speed liek dial-up,
Position is good, breakfast ok, comfortable bed, even if twin beds and not a doublebed.
Some plugs were not working, wifi with really bad connection, Booking should write that this is an independent managed and owned Best Western, not a "normal" one.
It is close to the north station.
The two staff I encountered during the two nights stay were either pretentious or rude!when I checked in, he didnot let me know the wifi password and did not give me the key to the fridge until I found out and went to him.the next day, we found no tea bags replenished ,so my boyfriend went down to fetch them. Later the wifi didnot work , since the code only worked for 24hours. I called and was asked to go to the reception, the same guy giving my boyfriend tea bags said"didnot your parnter get the code? &Quot;I was totally baffled!the attitude of them made me feel cold.
The room was comfortable, clean with a nice view to the botanic garden.
If you are not used to Brussels it can e really hard to get there, besides everyone told us in the night it's a quite unsafe quarter to walk around or to come back late.
