Colombus Hotel  

Very clean. Good location. Safe. Great breakfast Easy way to the old city Great value for money

Location is fine, close to both city center and railway station. Breakfast is simple but ok.

Total impression of Colombus hotel: bit run down, rooms unimpressive. Small bathroom. Woolen blankets, no duvet.

Breakfast provided was adequate.

This hotel needs a face lift. Furniture and fittings are rather old and need replacement

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is quite big and cozy. Location is absolutely perfect.

Towels looked old and grey, cleaning of the bathroom was not on the highest level (found garbage in sanitary bag left by previous guest). Also I could hear people walking in the room next to me as if we were in the same room.

Breakfast was really good and location fantastic.very nice design in th breakfast room.rooms were okay.staff was helpful.se of the pc for free in a common area.

Location was amazing! Hotel was literally two minutes to the shopping street of Antwerp and two minutes to the Central Station - there was nothing more we could ask for. Staff was very helpful. It is a great hotel if you would like to visit Antwerp for a city / shopping trip.

The rooms and furniture was a bit old and dated.

Staff was very friendly and breakfast was really good. Wifi signal was good in entire hotel.

The walls are really thin, you can hear your neighbors.

Has everything all facilities but still a budget hotel.

Some of elderly staffs are Less responsive and doesn't understand the requirement of customer fully though they help more than 100% on repeated request and elaborated explanation.

The hotel is located a walking distance from both Central Station and the Old City of Antwerp. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is very satisfying

I have a problem with a door to the bathroom in my room.

We only stay in Colombus for one day, but it's really worked for us: we arrived early on a train from Brussel and it only took 4 minute to walk from the station, we thought of just leaving our bags, but they check us in right away which was great! Hotel staff was very friendly on a way in and out, point us places we wanted to visit - it took us 10 minutes to walk to the center from the hotel. Hotel is a bit old and shabby, bit noisy if you open your window, but room was big, had strong wi-fi , bathtub and overall is a good value for the money. Breakfast was simple but good and we say farewell with a warm feeling toward this hotel.

Everything! Even the unimpressive exterior!

Good location, clean room - with lots of space. We were at the back of the hotel - view non-existant but it was quiet, which given location was a bonus. Good breakfast, friendly staff, good value for money.

No kettle (tea/coffee making facilities) in room

Its location is so central that it facilitates walking around. Its proximity to key public transportation lines, taxi routes and the Antwerpen Centraal train station makes it a convenient choice. Other than its location, the good prices and accessibility, I found it very appealing that Columbus' got a swimming pool.

Although there's free wireless internet acces, one has to request the access codes at the reception, which is unsual (codes normally come along the room keys). Plus, there's a LAN conexion inside the room, but the conectors (on the wall) have been disabled. The windows do not easily allow for fressh air. Either you have the windows fully closed or fully openned, but nothing in the middle. However, this two issues are little trouble in relation to the many advantages that Columbus has to offer (like the swimming pool for instance)

Big room and swimming pool. Breakfast wasn't bad either.

Walls are a bit thin. And it's quite expensive.

Worn out room. Extra bed for our child was not available. Outdated fitness center consists of only two old machines. Average breakfast. Nothing special.

De wat gedateerde inrichting. Niet echt schoon achter radiatoren. verouderde vloerbedekking en oude tv. Ook bij een enkeling bij de receptie die wij niet konden en om de sluitel vroeg deze zonder controle wie wij waren werd mee gegeven. Ik heb daar een opmerking over gemaakt.

lag sehr zentral. Frühstück war gut.

alle Halterungen im Badezimmer wackelten. Fenster waren schmutzig.

het is oud, bed uit de tijd . smoezelig vloerkleed gewoon oud , Renoveren zou ik zeggen.

Klimaat in de kamer. Te weinig zuurstof.Lastig in zo'n oud pand. Airco is misschien oplossing, maar dan zit je weer met ruis de hele nacht.

had 2x 2pk geboekt, een kamer was twinbedded, de andere had een twijfelaar als 2 persoonsbed, erg klein voor 2 mannen.
