Best Western Univers Hotel    

Right opposite the railway station, but too far to walk into the main town from the hotel. But there was plenty of restaurants within the immediate area, for a 1 night stay.

No teas or coffee making facilities in the rooms.

Perfectly located for those travelling by train, the breakfast included a wide selection to choose from. Very kind personnel.

The staff were very helpful - I was visiting my father in hospital so it was stressful. They gave me an excellent room with a bath and I had ordered a room with a shower - so I was very grateful!

Opposite the train station, clean, friendly staff

Strong smell of paint, the railroad yard opposite as well as the street are noisy at night, a bit pricey for the services offered

Conveniently located close to the main train station in Liege. Try out the restaurant Concordia next door - very old fashioned, equally old fashioned service, but good fair, for a reasonable price.

What i can only guess were the water pipes in the ceiling spaces made a fair bit of noise, other than that the place was faultless.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. Large rooms! If you came via train, this would be the place to stay.

The hotel did upgrades using low end doors, poor painting. Could be an excellent hotel if maintained correctly. Breakfast was poor.

In front of the Guillemins train station, a 20m walk to the city center. Good hotel, great shower for european standards.

Liège is not the best turistic destination.

Price, proximity to public transport

Beds too small, mattresses too soft - not 'hotel' quality, photos did not accurately reflect actuality.
