toiletries and 35" tv The hotel rooms were dated ,not clean and had an odor. I am sure it was a grand hotel many decades ago but the most important is the guest rooms today. The carpeting was old and dirty same for the windows treatments and the sofa. The bathrooms need to be redone as they were moldy and tarnished. The buffet breakfast looked better than it tasted. A big disappointment.

We loved it - an excellent hotel with great staff, a wonderful hotel bar (old style) and spacious rooms. Not in central town, a good 25 minutes walk to the Grand Place.

The only little thing we didn't like that much, compared to the outstanding hotel standard was the food. We ordered by roomservice; the quality of the food was not up to our expectations of a 5 star hotel...

The hotel has a very prestigious and luxurious atmosphere. The room was quite large and very comfortable. We loved the nespresso machine in the room. The hotel is very well located, quite close to the main shopping street. If you get a closer look you can see that some of the room equipment is a little bit old.

Nice atmosphere. Comfortable beds and pillows. Rather good breakfast but overpriced if you buy it separately. We had to wait more than an hour for our room to be ready. The hotel did not offer us during this time even a glass of water. Noisy aircondition. Rather empty walls in the room. If you want to use the pool, you have to pay an additonal €25 per person, which is not clear when you book the room and rather strange to say the least for the standards and price of the Conrad !

I booked the Conrad Brussels as a treat for my husband's 40th Birthday. I chose because of the positive reviews and also because it was an amazing price!!! We paid 131 euros per room, per night and when we checked in, the price on show at Reception was 489 euros per night!!! The hotel was very grand and luxurious in the communal areas and also in the bedrooms. It is 5 star and the very rich stay here, hence the price of drinks were high - however, we just loved it and accepted 5 star prices to sample the 5 star luxury! The other couple with us were awoken with drilling in the surrounding area of their bedroom (Room 202) at circa 8am on our last morning. They were not warned this would happen and felt this wasn't great but we did not experience this ourselves.

The hotel, and especially lobby is beautiful. Room was large, with comfortable sitting corner, very good coffee machine-espresso was excellent, also it was nice to have water -free of charge- delivered each day. Also, bedding and towels were crispy white. What is annoying, that having all that luxury, we were asked to pay 10 Euros per hour for the WiFi, not even talking about the 24 hours price. This is a shame, really, as rooms are expensive, thus why to annoy customers with the Internet fee? It must be included, free WiFi, as for example I would not book the room again here just because of this simple reason. Also, we were looking to spend evenings (and money) in the Hotel's bar, with some music entertainment, however, nothing was happening, even during the weekend. Thus we went to find places somewhere else. Again, this is sufficient reason not to stay here again. Sorry. By the way, staff in the reception is ice cold...

The value for money. There is no way to find a so comfortable hotel at that price in the city, room are luminous and spacious. Staff is friendly, breakfast is delicious. The best! The room was a little too cold. They clean the room only once a day.

Staff was very helpful and spoke English well. Parking was convenient and the spa was extremely nice and relaxing! The hallways smelled bad. The restaurant staff was rude and had us wait to be seated for ten minutes before even acknowledging that we were standing there.
